Rena Sofer Exits Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Fuller Forrester Stating, “I Know It’s Heartbreaking For Some”

Leaving of her own accord.

Rena Sofer took to Instagram August 16 to inform her followers “August 5, 2022 was a very big day for me. More to come…” With the post was an accompanying photo of several bouquets of flowers and cards.

One read, “Enjoy this next chapter in your life. Love you, you will be so missed. Always, Steph. Another read, “Thank you for always being so nice.” Another has an image of a fox with the text, “You should be proud of yourself.”

Co-workers such as Krista Allen (Taylor Forrester), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan), Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan), Ashley Aubra (Bridget Forrester) chimed in with heart emojis.

This is good news for Sofer, who it sounds as though wanted this change for herself.

It’s bittersweet for long-time fans of her and Quinn Fuller Forrester, who was a character that Sofer originated since her debut in 2013. Her last airdate is August 29.

Quinn is a jewelry designer, she’s the mother of Wyatt Fuller (Darin Brooks), she’s been called ‘Mortica, Ms. Permafrost, Mama Q, Crackpot Quinn and Loony Tunes’ by other characters.

She’s been through seductions, manipulations, scandals such as attempted murder and then some.

Sofer leaving the Bold and Beautiful will be a blow to most who watch.

The actress posted another image, this time from the cover of Soap Opera Digest, with the caption, “Rena Sofer leaves B&B!” and the actress stating, “It seemed like the right time.” Sofer stated, “Friday August 5 was not just my daughters birthday but the end of my 9year run as Quinn on @boldandbeautifulcbs I did a lovely exit interview with my friend Carolyn for @soapdigest which goes on sale on Friday!

I know it’s heartbreaking for some and it is for me as well, but it’s time for me to move on with both my acting career and my pottery career. Thank you all for your support over the last 9 years and in the future! And check out Renasoferceramics.com for the other side of my life!!”
