In Friday, February 4, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Carter surprises Paris with his choice, Taylor tells Ridge what a great husband he is, and Grace can’t understand Zende’s relationship with Paris.

At the Cliffhouse, Thomas and Steffy get Charlie to hack into Brooke’s cameras to get proof that she kissed Deacon. He easily gets in and backtracks to New Year’s Eve. As he looks for a pad of paper to take notes, he injures himself on a cactus. Pushing through the pain, Charlie gets back to the search.
They finally see Deacon returning to the house. “Gotcha Brooke!” Steffy smirks. She and her brother are disturbed. They see Douglas approach the house but not the kiss. Charlie notices that Deacon didn’t leave until the next morning. “What?!” the siblings shout. Steffy is disgusted and demands a copy of the video. Charlie guesses this won’t end well for Brooke. “It is going to end well for our father,” Steffy says.
At Brooke’s, Hope assures her that Douglas has given up talking about her kissing Santa. “No one else can ever know,” Brooke says. She worries about Taylor waiting on the sidelines for something bad to happen. She’s sure Steffy and Thomas wouldn’t care if her marriage fell apart.
Hope tries to get her mom to stop her negative thoughts and believe Ridge will never learn the truth.
In Taylor’s office, she tells Ridge that moving back was the best decision she ever made. They look at pictures of their grandchildren’s birthdays and chuckle. She’s happy to see him smile. She knows Brooke hasn’t been making that easy for him. They banter a bit and she admires him for being such a loving and committed husband. He questions that claim. She just hopes Brooke is deserving of him.
Ridge heads home, where Brooke is flashing back to New Year’s again. He misses coming back to the house and finding her happy. They can’t keep going on like this. None of this is her fault. He’s not scared of what’s ahead because he knows they can face anything together. Nothing will come between them. Ridge kisses her.
Taylor is summoned to the Cliffhouse by her kids. She wonders what’s going on. Steffy tells her how nice it is that they are all back together. Her mom agrees. She was just spending time with Ridge and he was very sweet. Steffy reminds her that she still loves him. Her mom advises her not to get caught up in wishful thinking. Ridge is with the Logans and they need to move on. Her children explain that something is very wrong with his marriage. “She cheated on him…with Deacon. With Deacon!” Steffy says. Taylor’s jaw drops and she blinks in disbelief.

Zende is with Grace in the Forrester Creations office. He tells her that he’s having a lot of fun with her daughter but they don’t have the problems of commitment. “Keepin’ it loose is a bad idea,” she declares. Sequoia pops in and reminds him of their date before taking off. Grace rolls her eyes.
Grace doesn’t get what he and Paris are doing. He tells her it’s not a crime for her daughter not to want to settle down. Besides, he’s the one seeing other people, not Paris.
At Carter’s penthouse, he thinks about Grace threatening to expose him to Ridge. Paris hands him some wine and asks what’s going on in his handsome head. They rehash how they never expected to get together and how they’ve been keeping it quiet. He can see a future with her. It would be complicated but worth it. She can see that too.
Carter doesn’t want to hide. She says Zende will understand. To her surprise, he says they have to end their involvement tonight. He cares about her enough to end this. Zende can give her the best life, everything that being a Forrester means and the family would never understand this. She doesn’t want to let him go but he insists this is the way it has to be.
