In the Monday, April 18, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Zende asks Carter for advice about Paris, Sheila tells Deacon what happened with Taylor, and Baker is eager to question Steffy.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Taylor confessed that Sheila saved her life after Ridge tried to kick her out of the hospital.
At the hospital, Ridge is shocked when Taylor informs him that Sheila saved her life on the roof. After taking a moment, Ridge thanks her for saving Taylor but says nothing if going to bring Finn back.
Deputy Chief Baker strolls in and says that he will make sure “the trash” who killed Finn will be brought to justice. Sheila tears up and walks off.
Sitting in a supply closet, Sheila flashes back to killing Finn. Deacon comes to check on her and says she shouldn’t be alone. She tells him something amazing happened today: she saved Taylor’s life.
“This is such a head trip,” Deacon says. She explains the details of what happened. He can only imagine the kind of pain she is in. Sharpe tells her it will get easier. Sheila tells him he has no idea what she is going through. She hurts and destroys everyone she loves and never should have come back.
As he tells her none of this is her fault, she flashes back to shooting Steffy.
Baker tells Ridge and Taylor that none of the surveillance cameras were on. He’s eager to speak to Steffy. They explain that she can’t remember anything yet.
Once the cop is gone, Taylor tells Ridge this feels like Phoebe all over again. He assures her their daughter is too stubborn to leave them. Holding her, he tells her they will all be okay.
Taylor’s heart is breaking for Li and Jack… and Sheila. Stepping away, he asks what really happened on the roof. She says the same woman who destroyed her life, saved it. This is not enough to make him forget the evil that Sheila has done.
Carter arrives and finds Paris napping on Zende in the waiting room. Paris can’t believe Finn is gone. Carter hates that this is happening. Zende tells him he’s part of the family and thanks him for being such a great friend.
After Paris takes off, Zende gets Carter coffee. He wanted to get some advice. He’s been trying to keep Paris off his mind by dating other women, but this has failed. He’s sure he could make her happy if she was his wife.
Carter urges him to follow his heart and propose to her.

Eric is distracted at the Forrester Creations office. He can’t work. Quinn reminds him they didn’t have to come in. Eric needed something to do.
It’s hard to believe Finn is gone. They need to rally around Steffy. They’ve overcome so much in the past that he’s sure they can overcome this too. Zende arrives. There are no updates on Steffy.
Zende tells him he’s been thinking about family and how important it is. He can’t wait to propose to Paris.
Eric is happy to hear some good news for a change. Quinn doesn’t mean to be a downer but asks if he’s sure Paris feels the same. Zende knows she wanted to keep it casual, but in his gut, he knows she is his future.
Carter can’t think in his office. When Paris shows up, he makes an excuse to get rid of her. She knows he’s been avoiding her. He tells her that’s the right thing to do. He’s wrong for her and she should be with Zende.
She reminds him that he said he loved her. If that’s true, they can make this work. Carter admits this is about her mom and how everyone else will react. He can’t ruin their reputations and he can’t give her what Zende can.
Paris wishes he’d stop pushing her to another man. He tells her that what they shared was wrong and never should have happened. She’s a grown woman and can make her own decisions. Paris is willing to risk her job and her reputation to be with him. He’s worth the risk.
“It’s not worth the risk to me,” he makes clear. He won’t ruin her life and it’s over. If Zende proposes to her, she should accept. Paris sobs. Carter just wants her to be happy. After she walks out, Quinn walks in.
“Really? You and Paris?” she asks.
