General Hospital recap for Monday, April 18, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Selina has news for Curtis, Valentin pays Alexis a visit, and Robert urges Anna to exploit her relationship to get information.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Brendan fell off a cliff while struggling with Harmony and Finn revealed his plan to Liz.
At General Hospital, Liz informs Portia that they have a problem. There are notes missing from one of her exams and she needs the paperwork. The doctor snaps at her and the nurse reminds her of what her job is.
The nurse calms things down and Portia admits that she’s been so preoccupied and has been forgetting things. They discuss how they are handling everything and how overwhelmed they are.
Liz admits that she has more problems than Cam and the video. She fills her in on the stalking stuff. Portia apologizes for not checking in on her before and then gets called away to see a patient.
Alexis speaks with Finn at addicts anonymous about Harmony and what a good friend she’s been. After inviting her to move in, however, she discovered that she’d been there before. Now she feels like she doesn’t know her at all.
They chat about his relationship with Liz. He admits there is an “unwanted presence” in her home too. The doctor fills her in on the strange stalking. Finn feels like he’s making things worse. She suggests he get Liz to speak to Kevin to clarify her perceptions.
Liz bumps into Finn by the elevators. He urges her to speak to Kevin. Maybe he can help her remember something that could be useful. The nurse needs a personal day. When she answers a phone, someone says, “Don’t forget me.” She’s shocked, but it’s just a patient.
When Alexis gets to her office, she finds Valentin spinning around in her chair. They hug and catch up. He says he’s back and better than ever. She senses he wants something. Valentin thinks a media company in the family could be useful and his father agrees with him.
Alexis warns that if Victor wants to get close to him, he’s not being paternal, it’s something else. She won’t let her paper be used by the family. Valentin reminds her that you can’t pick your family. “On the contrary, you have to,” she says.
Laura joins Robert, Felicia, and Anna at her place. They inform her that a suspect in Luke’s death has been arrested: Jennifer Smith. So far, there is no evidence that she was working with Victor.
Jennifer claims she was framed. Laura doesn’t think any of this makes sense either. The scale of the cable car killing was more of a Cassadine move. They all believe it must be Victor.
Laura says that the Cassadines must have arranged for the evidence to point to Jennifer. She tells them Victor has been giving her a hard sell to join forces to face a future threat.
That, plus his attempts to manipulate Drew means that Victor is up to something. Robert can think of a surefire way to find out and suggests that Anna use her relationship with Valentin.
Felicia tries to grill her about this “relationship,” so Anna changes the topic and reminds them of the man who was with Jennifer before she was arrested.
Valentin shows up on Anna’s doorstep as Robert walks out. “Speak of the devil,” says Scorpio. Anna and Valentin are happy to see each other.

The latest GH casting news – Trina recast
Curtis sits on the pier thinking about the deal he made with Selina. He spots Jordan. They chat about her visit to Spoon Island. Spencer and Esme wouldn’t speak to her without a lawyer.
He wonders why she doesn’t have detectives handling this. She likes to have a reminder of why she became a cop and how much she wants justice. There’s some awkwardness and she makes sure they are still good since she refused to get Marshall’s sealed record for him.
The moment the commissioner steps away, Selina pops up. Her people accessed police files and discovered that Marshall was never in witness protection. He won’t get the records she has found until he holds up his side of their bargain.
Jordan drops by the hospital to check on Portia. The women immediately begin arguing about the Trina situation. The doctor reminds her that she always goes outside the law for her family.
Jordan points out how much trouble that has caused for her. Portia accuses her of making this personal. Curtis arrives and spots them together.
Harmony flashes back to Brendan blackmailing her as she tries to break into his room at the Metro Court. A maid finds her and asks if she’s a guest. Harmony talks her way out of that and sneaks in and grabs the files on her.
Harmony goes down to the bar and orders a drink as she remembers struggling with Brendan before he went over the cliff. Willow pops up and finds her looking flushed. Sitting down, Willow admits she’s a bit under the weather.
Harmony promises to be there for her as long as she can be. “Are you going somewhere?” asks Willow. She really appreciates how hard she has been working to rebuild their relationship. Tearing up, Harmony tells her how much that means.
Taking her hand, Willow assures her that their past doesn’t have to keep hanging over them. Harmony says that no matter how hard she keeps trying, the past keeps coming after her.
Willow asks if this has something to do with Brendan. Harmony assures her she doesn’t have to worry about her. “No matter what I’ve done, I’ve done it for you,” she tells her.
Alexis arrives on the pier and finds Brendan floating in the water.
Brad brings Britt junk food on the patio so they can go over the results from her matchmaking service. Her mom has already sorted them. Brad flips through them but it’s soon evident that everyone is boring after Jason.
Brad asks what her criteria is and complains about having no man. She suggests they go to The Savoy tonight. He asks if she’s heard anything about his job prospects. Britt hasn’t and warns that Terry puts a lot of thought into hiring.
Reluctantly, she admits that Terry is probably open to hiring him. He asks what he needs to do to make it a sure thing. Britt flashes back to Selina ordering her to pull Brad’s strings as she sees fit.
The doctor advises him to do nothing for now and hold on for something better. She urges him not to limit himself. Brad wonders if she doesn’t want him at GH. Britt tells him not to settle on a crappier version of his old life.
Being an orderly is about the best thing he thinks he can hope for. His only other option would be working for his aunt. The topic goes back to her dating life. She doesn’t know what kind of a future she could have with any guy anyway…
He thinks they both need to live their best lives. He needs a job and they both need men. Britt is about to tell him something when Selina shows up and announces that Brad has a job and it starts immediately.
