In the Tuesday, April 5, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Finn passes away, Steffy is taken to hospital, and family is notified of the shooting.

In her hotel suite, Sheila’s so torn up that she shot her own son and his wife that she starts throwing up. She sits in bed and rocks, then gets up and looks at her reflection in the mirror. “I killed my own son,” she says, in disbelief. She brushes her hair. She keeps flashing back to the shooting. “Steffy wouldn’t listen. Now they’re both dead.”
At Forrester Creations, Taylor reminds Ridge that when the kids were little, he wanted them to work with him, to carry on the family legacy. Ridge says all they can hope for is their kids to be happy and lead long, meaningful lives. Taylor smiles and nods at Thomas. They talk about how amazing Steffy is at length, hitting us on the head with an anvil. They agree that she’s like Taylor and Ridge’s mother. They laugh about motorcycles, leather and ziplines. “She’s unstoppable,” Ridge says.
The paramedics make it to the alley outside Il Giardino.
Deacon points that Steffy’s not moving and paces as the paramedics ask for their names.
Deacon repeats that they’re not moving and that the medics need to do something.
“Is she alive?” He asks. They tell him Steffy’s alive as they put an oxygen mask on her face. Deacon asks if Finn is going to be okay. “I couldn’t find a pulse,” he says.
They take him away and Deacon mutters, “This is wrong. He can’t be dead.” An EMT asks questions, but all Deacon knows is that he found them like this. He heard no gunshots. “Who the hell would do this?”
Once Steffy and Finn are gone, Deacon talks to the cops. He needs to contact the family as soon as possible but the cop tells him to wait. He can’t.
They need to get to the hospital! The cop asks him to put it on speaker. He calls Ridge, who barks, “What do you want?” Deacon tells him not to hang up.
Something terrible has happened. There’s been a shooting. He tells him Steffy and Finn were shot and that he needs to get to University Hospital now.
“Finn…Finn didn’t make it. You need to go now. Steffy needs you.” They disconnect and Ridge tells Thomas and Taylor the terrible news. “Oh my God!” Taylor breathes. They dash out.

At the hospital, Steffy’s brought in and Bridget recognizes her. She takes her vitals and they wheel her into a room.
Ridge, Thomas and Taylor arrive and see Bridget.
She tells them Steffy was shot in the chest and in grave condition. Bridget allows them to see her. They head inside and tell Steffy it’ll be okay.
Thomas tells her she’s the most stubborn person he’s met. They profess their love and give her support.
Deacon arrives at Sheila’s room. She straightens up and opens the door. She acts innocent and he runs for her booze.
He downs a tiny bottle and tells her Steffy and Finn have been shot. Sheila acts as though it’s the first she’s heard. He thinks it was a robbery.
She asks if they were okay. “We’ve got to go.” He stops her. Tears in his eyes he says, “Sorry.” Sheila cries as she tells him Finn died. She falls to her bed and sobs as Deacon tells her how sorry he is.
