General Hospital recap for Friday, March 4, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Sonny and Nik talk about Courtney as they visit her grave, Joss asks Trina if she’s still upset about what happened with Esme, and Spencer gets two visitors in Spring Ridge.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Anna and Liesl tried to bury the past with a night out, while Betsy gave Liz some surprising answers.
Sasha and Brando wake up in bed together, eager to start their new chapter. They kiss. They remember chatting last night and how he could have come on to her sooner.
They make out and he tells her he missed her. Missed them. He made lunch reservations and tickets for the Maid of the Mist. They kiss more and he says, “Or, we can just hang out here.”
They make love and afterward say that it was good, like the first time. This time, it wasn’t in a car. She heads to the washroom and goes into her bag for some pills. She takes one and returns to Brando’s arms. They look outside and snuggle and she tells him they should get married. Today!
At school, the teacher asks Trina how she’s been doing the last few days. She’s been quiet this semester. Trina shrugs her off and the teacher hopes she doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.
In the hall, Joss tells Cam that she and Trina are strained. She’s only sleeping in their room. She blames Esme. Trina pops up and Joss asks if she’s still mad at her.
She’s still annoyed that Joss told her something she told Joss in confidence. She needs time to process that Joss put her in the middle of her war with Esme.
Joss admits she lost her temper, and that thing about her buying her a book slipped out. Trina tells Cam that Spencer bought her a book that just happened to be delivered to her on Valentine’s Day.
Cam tries to mediate and Trina shuts him down. She asks if for once, Joss could see things her way and not bring her issues into the Joss Show.
In the Spring Ridge cafeteria, Esme flashes to the Tramadol, and setting up the camera to record Joss and Cam having sex. She hugs Spencer, who jumps and tells her she shouldn’t be doing that.
The wrong guard could see. She snipes at him asking if he got up on the wrong side of the bed.
He cries as he tells her it’s the anniversary of his mother’s death. She sits with him and holds his hand as he remembers her. He talks about how Trina understood since her father passed on and Esme grimaces slightly. She thinks he can leave her flowers when he’s out.
She offers to leave flowers on his behalf. He barks that it’s not the point. He yells that he’s finally in Port Charles and should be able to do this for her but he can’t, because of the choices that he made. Esme tears up. She was trying to help. He counters that she doesn’t get it and she nods. “But Trina would.”
Esme says she hasn’t experienced death. Her father isn’t even dead. She jumps up and Spencer apologizes. He forgets sometimes. She never talks about her parents. He promises to do better.
He asks what about the gift he got her. He gets all his friend cards. She mentions that it got to her on Valentine’s Day. He calls it a coincidence.
At Metro Court, Carly’s thinking about Courtney Matthews. It’s the anniversary of her death. She feels like her connection is slipping away. Sam says they might have become friends if she had lived.
If her and Liz can, it’s possible. They both laugh. Sam talks about how well things are going with Dante and that things are over between her and Drew. Carly admits he’s been looking out for her.

Victor appears and Ava invites him for lunch but he has business to attend to. Laura pokes her head in and thinks he’s been keeping a low profile so he’s not implicated in an ongoing investigation.
Victor has no idea of what she means. Laura flashes to thinking he was behind Luke’s death, but he thinks she’s accusing him of helping Peter August to escape. He says his death has been a positive thing.
He takes off and Ava calls that fun. She asks what’s going on between the two. Laura asks what she means. Ava thinks Victor smuggled Peter out of the hospital and the country.
Laura just came to meet Sam. Ava asks if she trusts her. Laura scrunches her face up. Ava says she trusts Victor as much as Ava. Laura’s concerned about Nicholas and Spencer. She asks for her help in looking out for them. Ava agrees to it.
Laura goes to sit with Sam about Johann, Sonny’s associate, since new details she knows about involves Drew.
Sonny visits Courtney’s grave and tells her that he likes to think she is looking out for him. She’s still in his heart. Nik shows up. “Mine too,” he says, holding flowers.
He loved her too. Sonny asks if he thinks they’d still be together if she didn’t die. He thinks so…”In truth, I don’t know,” he admits. She’ll always be the mother of his son, just like Carly will be the mother of Sonny’s kids. Sonny narrows his eyes. He doesn’t want to argue with him in front of his sister’s grave.
They agree she was a kind soul, patient as a saint. Nikolas says she’d have been a good influence on her. Sonny thinks he’s make a lot of mistakes. He thinks he should own up to them.
Outside Kelly’s, Anna tells Drew she has a bad feeling that they’re heading into danger and that he’s the center of it all. They talk about how it’s possible Victor was trying to reactivate him with the Tarot card.
She’d like to expose him. She thinks he’ll manipulate Valentin, who she says is convalescing elsewhere. Anna thinks that Victor still thinks he knows something.
He’s trying to access his old memories. Laura and Sam appear as they talk and listen in. Laura tells Drew he has a right to know the truth, that they think Victor had Luke killed. They need proof.
They need to go to Austria. Laura says to tread carefully, or Victor will know they’re on to them. Sam thinks there’s another way to find out what he wants. To contact Andre. Sam suggests they set a trap for Victor.
Victor stops by Spring Ridge. Esme takes off, looking at the sex tape in the hall. “Time to get this done,” she tells herself. Meanwhile, Spencer tells Victor he took out his frustrations on being in there on Esme.
He reveals it’s because he usually leaves flowers on his mother’s grave on the anniversary of her death. He can’t this year unless Victor busts him out. Victor tells him that can’t happen. He won’t risk extending his sentence or join him in there. Victor gets on a call and talks about it being the calm before the storm.
Esme finds Cam, Trina and Joss in an argument at school. She pokes her head in and Cam tells her to stay out of it. She takes off and Trina tells Joss she’s all talked out.
Joss heads into class and Cam is sorry. Trina thanks him and he goes into class, while Trina gets a notification on her phone. Esme returns and calls her name but Trina doesn’t want to talk to her. She goes and Esme thinks that she won’t hear from any of them soon enough.
Nik finds Carly at Metro Court. He asks if she’s holding up and she asks him the same. He tells her Courtney would have loved what she did with the place. He’s sorry he’s never told her that before. She thanks him and tells him he missed his mother. She, Ava and Victor got into it. Carly leaves and runs into Sonny in the elevator.
Nik kisses Ava and asks what her intense conversation was with Laura. Ava calls it gossip. She assured her she was taking care of her. He asks if it had anything to do with Victor and she lies. He tells her he’s not having luck with Spencer. Ava offers to invite Victor to dinner.
Spencer visits Courtney’s grave. He places flowers and is glad she wasn’t alone, since others visited her. Trina spots him and asks what he’s doing out of Spring Ridge.
Back in school, Esme uploads the video of Cam and Joss making love and everyone in class gets a copy. They upload it to the teacher’s screen and everyone gasps and mutters, while Joss and Cam look on in shock and confusion.
