In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Ashland turns the tables on Victor, Lauren can’t get a hold of Michael, and Sally talks with Lauren and Chloe about their new line. In the previous episode, Ashland lied to Nate about his illness returning as Victor tried to get Nikki to believe that the man had no scruples.

In Los Angeles, Phyllis and Jack try to figure out who Keemo is within the photograph they find. He wonders what the heck they’re doing there. Neither knows what to make of this. Maybe it’s a prank, Phyllis says. They look through the box some more to get to the truth but Jack starts to feel guilty.
Phyllis gives him some tough love. “I’m just gonna be blunt here but Keemo’s gone. I’m sorry but he’s gone. You’re not violating his memory by going through his things.” The box wasn’t left there by accident. She thinks whoever sent the texts left it for him.
He finds tickets to a Broadway show three years ago and wonders who he went with.
He looks through postcards from Vietnam and finds a wedding lantern, and a small wooden jewelry box with a heart necklace inside. He flashes to giving the necklace to Luan in 1995 at Christmas. She loved it and was wracking her brain to try to find something for him.
He called waking up with her daily, Christmas and didn’t need a gift. She felt the same.
He reminded her she gave him a son. Jack tells Phyllis about the necklace and how he sent it to Keemo after her death. He’s overcome with emotion as he finds a sign that he didn’t erase him from his life. A photo of Luan and Jack’s wedding.
He talks about winning his son over and that he was the best man. Phyllis asks about the wedding, which Jack calls small but beautiful. Luan was radiant. They wrote their own vows. He flashes back to the wedding and then finds a statement of paternity. Phyllis assumes it meant something to him. Jack wonders what would have happened if he stood firm and pressed on to see his son.
At Newman Enterprises, Ashland looks at the text that comes in. “Found another doctor who gave info to Baldwin. Took care of all three of them.” He smiles and heads into Victoria’s office.
She asks what took him so long. He says she lost him at the traffic light. She asks what he wanted to tell her, earlier. Ashland says that it’s indirectly about his health and his treatment. Ash reveals that a doctor, “an obvious quack,” he says, is claiming that he lied about his cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Victoria’s confused. Ashland says her father believes this doctor and is trying to force him out of Victoria’s life with an ultimatum. Victoria finds it outrageous. He agrees and hates to say it but he doesn’t trust her father. He reminds her of their pact not to keep secrets.
She wonders why her dad would turn on him and remembers seeing his reports in New York. She can’t believe her father would find him capable of doing anything so heinous. He reminds her he used to be called the Loch Ness Monster.
The name fit like a glove once upon a time, but that man doesn’t exist anymore because of her. Victoria knows and she hates that name. He gives her a line about how profoundly her love has changed him. She thinks he needs to credit himself.
At Society, Lauren worries about Michael. She hasn’t heard from him since yesterday and he hasn’t been responding to her texts. Chloe thinks if he’s like Kevin, he doesn’t like texting while he works. Lauren texts once more at Chloe’s urging and then asks how she and Chelsea are doing with the new platform.
Chelsea’s talking to sources in New York. Lauren’s impressed. The sooner they’re in stores, the sooner they’re making money for Fenmore’s, Chloe says.
In Adam’s office, Sally admits it’s invigorating being CEO. She asks for updates on the Ashland situation but he hasn’t heard anything yet. She wonders how Victoria’s doing emotionally since she might be headed for heartbreak. Victor appears in the door and asks Sally to give them the room.
She tells them she’s headed to Society for food. Adam says he’ll join her for a drink after. Victor can see he kept the details of Ashland’s lies to himself. He also sees that he and Sally are close, and she’s not known for her discretion. Adam tells his dad not to worry. He hasn’t told Sally that.
Victor relays that he threatened Ashland to get out of town or he’ll tell Victoria the truth. Adam finds that bizarre but Victor says he worries she’ll be devastated if she learns the truth. Adam wonders if she’d find a way to forgive him, considering she found a way to do so about everything else he’s done.
If so, he thinks his dad should be prepared. Victor says that’s what he’s doing. Ashland won’t get away with this. He gets a call from someone and learns that Michael Baldwin has gone missing, along with the two doctors. He calls Ashland and tells him no more stalling. He tells Victoria everything or Victor will. “Do it. I’m not going anywhere,” Ashland spits.

Sally greets Lauren and Chloe at Society and asks after the new line. Chloe has good news and Sally hopes to see it in stores soon. She talks about how great she is doing at her new job and how she and Adam are a great team.
Lauren goes to take a call and Chloe admits she genuinely liked working with her. She’s proud of what they created at Newman Fashion. Sally agrees and is sorry it didn’t last. Everyone landed where they were supposed to. Chloe hopes she hasn’t given up on her dreams.
Sally looks up and sees Adam walking in and says she hasn’t given up on them at all. Lauren returns and Adam greets them. It’s awkward as Adam asks if she’s heard from Michael. Lauren thinks he should have heard something but Adam doubts that.
He’s sure that she hears from him more often. They go and Lauren worries some more about her husband. She calls Victor for an explanation. Victor lies that he’s communicated with him and he’ll be home as soon as he’s done. Lauren asks Victor to have Michael call. They disconnect and Lauren doesn’t feel any better.
At their table, Sally fishes for word on what’s going on in Adam’s family. He refuses to tell her anything for her own protection. Besides, the fallout won’t really affect him. The dynamic could work in his favor.

Lauren goes to Kevin about his brother being incommunicado. He thinks there are a million reasons as to why Michael hasn’t been in touch. “You know he can take care of himself.”
Lauren tells Kevin, “I do, and that’s why I’m so worried.”
Ashland can tell Nate has spoken to Victor. Nate asks him, “Tell me you haven’t been lying to Victor and the entire Newman family this whole time?”
Phyllis and Jack find a photo of a young girl named Allie, with a phone number.
Tuesday’s March 8 Y&R recap – Victoria puts her father on notice after Ashland’s manipulations have her seeing red.
