Mon Dec 18, 2023: Today on General Hospital, Kristina’s feelings for Blaze grow, Molly and TJ receive bad news, Trina stands up to Esme, Dante and Anna make a discovery
Friday’s GH recap: Sonny Assures Laura Cyrus Didn’t Kill Austin, and Donna Gets a Christmas Miracle — Finding Mike’s Missing Cap
Gregory intrigues Alexis in her office with talk of the defenestration of Tracey Quartermaine.
Alexis says she’d help but didn’t enjoy prison the first time.
Gregory says that he’ll ask her to go skydiving.
“Think she’ll go for it?” She says it’ll never happen. Gregory’s planning on asking.
Chase would do it but Brook Lynn would not be able to stand it.
He doesn’t think he’s going to be able to stroke that off his bucket list.
Alexis says it’s insane but do it anyway. Alone. “Just jump!”
He says he could do that but he wants to have memories to keep him when he’s too far gone to make more.
He wants to do them with family. Alexis says she’ll go with him. He tries to change her mind but she says no. It’ll be a good story for his grandchildren. And hers.
At Rice Plaza, Leo asks BLQ if Ned will still perform as Eddie Maine in the Gingerbread Jam. She says he’s busy but maybe.
Violet wants Chase and Blaze to sing but he’s putting his singing behind him for the force.
Chase and BLQ kiss after she tells him whatever he does is epic.
They kids run to get hot cocoa, and Chase tells his fiance that this Christmas has to be the best because of his dad’s illness.
Brook Lynn says to leave it to her. She also needs to help Mazie right now since she’s having money trobles. BLQ blames herself.
Nearby, Blaze details what she and her Abuela do for Christmas. She’d love if Kristina could come.
Kristina talks about the funny gifts she and her sisters gave her in the past and how everything she’s heard of the Casssadine family is worse.
Blaze loves that her family is insane.
They join hands and gaze into one another’s eyes until Blaze jumps back when BLQ appears with the others.
Kristina frowns.
They talk about Violet wanting to see Santa and that Leo wants a 3D Korean puzzle that he says he won’t get because there’s no Santa.
The adults look at Violet incredulously as Violet denies that. Leo says it’s not scientifically possible that he could deliver gifts to all kids.
He’d have to bend the space-time continuum to do so. BLQ and Chase try to defend there being a Santa.
Blaze takes Violet aside and tells her Leo’s right, but that sometimes you’re told something is impossible when it’s not.
She was told she’d never hit the high notes in singing but now she can.
She demonstrates. Everyone returns and Leo apologizes for challenging her belief in something that makes her happy. Violet’s fine with it.
Kristina and Blaze get hot cocoa while Kristina worries about how uncomfortable Blaze is with being openly gay.
In the doctor’s office, TJ and Molly tell the doctor they have found a surrogate.
They hope Kristina will be pregnant in a few months.
Doc calls that optimistic. It could be six months.
They want to rush it but she says procedures mean they need not to skip anything.
Molly starts to cry that they have to start from scratch.
It’s a long and arduous process but they’ll all have to wait. TJ tries to make Molly feel better but it feels so out of reach again.
They embrace and Molly worries that asking Krissy to put her life on hold is being selfish.
Joss, and Trina arrive at Laura’s and Joss (Courtney Fulk) holds a Christmas present Spencer hands to her.
Joss says he shouldn’t have. He’s already given her the gift that keeps on giving.
Her bestie’s happiness! Spencer gets the door to Esme and the air turns cold as Joss and Trina glare.
She apologizes for the interruption but a package is there for her.
He hands it over and asks where the kid is.
She jokes that she left him with some street kids and he gets on her case.
Trina asks about the new place.
She calls it cozy and Joss thinks anything would be cozier than a jail cell.
Esme takes Trina into the hall and Spencer tries to listen in as Esme thanks Trina for talking Spencer into letting her move out.
Trina didn’t do it for her, she did it for Spencer.
Esme is still thankful that she has been pleasant and polite even with her history.
She knows she has to take responsibility for her actions even if she doesn’t remember them.
She also apologizes for everything she put her through and though she knows it’s too little, too late, she hopes it is something.
Maybe one day she’ll forgive her. Or they’ll end up friends. “Esme, that’ll never happen,” Trina says.
She believes Esme’s sorry but she remembers the cruel things and she’ll never forgive her. Neither will Cam or Joss. They can be cordial or friendly but that’s it.
Inside, Joss opens her present which is a dart board with Spencer’s face on it. She laughs. She can use it next time she’s upset with him.
Joss says, “You mean I could save you the bruise.”
She can’t put it in their dorm room. Spncer says it’s fine.
Trina knows. Esme thanks her and Trina heads inside.
They say goodbye to Joss and Trina shares her discussion with Esme.

Brennan/Pikeman shows up at Kelly’s, ready to offer help but he can see she Carly has it under control.
They flirt. She tells him she’d lose him as her regular.
He lets her know he’s sticking around Port Charles. He’s glad for the excuse to stay.
Does he like the burgers that much?
He tells her opportunity abounds in PC and he intends on jumping on all of them.
She thinks he’ll have plenty of business to jump on. He asks if she feels safe there.
She does but doesn’t live a typical life. It doesn’t surprise him.
She gives off an unconventional vibe and he’d love to get to know her better. Carly shoots him down.
She’s seeing someone and told him that.
He apologizes and she wants to know more about him.
As a friend. He flirts and she laughs but then his phone rings and he apologizes that he has to get it. He takes off.
Anna meets Dante in the morgue.
He likes it there since there are no security cameras.
He didn’t want to risk tipping anyone off and shows her his investigation into Forsyth.
She told him to stay out of it but he reminds her she’s not his boss anymore.
She reminds him how dangerous it is but he’ll never turn his back on her. She finally accepts the file.
He tells her how he got it from the storage locker. She tells Dante this is the file.
He shows her the photos of her, Forsyth and Brennan/Pikeman, and asks if she knows who he is. She does.
He’s John Brennan and was in field ops when she and Forsyth were there. He’s the director of the WSB. Dante’s thrown.
She tells him things went sour and money wasn’t recovered. It’s why she kept the material.
Dante knows something in there must be worth hiding. She thinks Brennan can’t be implicated in the death of a defector.
Anna thinks Brennan wants to eliminate the report and anyone who knows about it.
Dante calls in Brennan’s name to Sam and asks her to look up who he is and who he’s connected to and be careful.
They need something that ties Brennan to the defector’s assassination. Finding something on the missing money would help.
Dante shows her a number in the wallet he took from the deposit box.
She says it’s 21 numbers which is probably a Swiss bank account.
This could lead them to either the money or the person responsible for the botched operation.
Sam heads into Kelly’s and Carly gets her coffee while she searches for John Brennan. She finds out that he’s the new director of WSB.
Carly returns with coffee and exclaims, “Is that the guy you’re doing research on?”
She says she knows him and is not happy to hear he lied to her about who he was.
Out at the pier, Brennan meets with Roman who has a location coming. They tapped the GPS system in Devane’s phone.
She’s in the GH morgue with Dante Falconeri, who yesterday, was found retrieving a small package at the station.
Brennan realizes Anna has the documents. They’ll go after Dante themselves.
Brennan says to neutralize the cop, get the report and ensure there are no copies.
Anna and Dante stroll on the pier. Her Interpol contact will be there soon. They’ll go after Brennan themselves after.
At home, Esme holds an ornament up for Ace to see.
It’s their first ornament for their first Christmas tree.
As she looks at the ornament, she remembers hanging the ornaments on the tree while pregnant with Ace last Christmas while she was locked up.
Esme drops the ornament, breaking it in the process.
