Tues Mar 19, 2024: Joss tells Carly about dumping Dex, BLQ backs John off from Danny, and Sonny and Natalia discuss their daughters.
Monday’s GH recap: Joss broke up with Dex, and Trina comforted Joss while Stella called Tracy out for her privilege.
Tearful Joss runs to her mom’s kitchen and whimpers that she needs her because of Dex. She’s the one person who loves her without hiding parts of herself.
She and Dex broke up. “For good this time.”
Part of Joss wishes Dex lied to her but Nina exposed a side of him she didn’t know existed.
He was the person she loved and trusted and he’s not who she thought he was.
Her illusions are all gone because Dex was going to get rid of Cyrus permanently.
Her mom urges her to get some perspective. Joss doesn’t think that will change anything.
It was premeditated murder.
Carly has he didn’t have a lot of options and tells her not to be naïve. Joss feels like a blind idiot.
Her mom assumes he’s shared more with her than anyone else.
Joss doesn’t know how she couldn’t see that he could do away with a helpless person.
She asks if Jason used to terminate people for Sonny. Carly can’t deny it.
Joss wants the answers even if she’s not ready for them.
Her mom says she’s judging everything from the outside.
Carly claims it’s not as simple as she thinks and she’s sure Jason only extinguishes people to protect himself.
Her daughter doubts that. She’s sure she would stand by Jason even if he was offing people in cold blood.
Joss never thought there was anything that would get in the way of her love.
Her mom says unconditional love only applies to your kids. If she had to sacrifice part of herself, she would hate herself.
In Joss’ gut, she’s sure this was the right thing.
Anna is surprised when Dex shows up at her office.
She assumes he’s there about Sonny.
Dex wants to confess to attempting to end Cyrus on Sonny’s orders.
Anna gulps.
She closes the door and prompts him to walk her through this.
He tells her about Michael hiring him to infiltrate Sonny’s operation and his decision to use him to monitor Sonny for the rest of the family.
He found evidence Sonny was moving illegal arms for Pikeman.
When he tells her about the orders to finish Cyrus, she points out that this would only make things worse for Sonny.
Dex told him that but he wouldn’t listen.
He was going to make Cyrus OD on fentanyl but Sonny showed up at the last minute to stop him.
The commissioner asks if he understands he’s incriminating himself.
He knows and is prepared to pay for it.
She points out that there isn’t much evidence to back him up.
The most they could get would be conspiracy and Sonny would have his life ended.
Anna knows from experience that prosecution will go nowhere so she declares this conversation never happened.
She appreciates him trying to get justice. He tells her that if she ever needs help taking Sonny down to keep him in mind.
Sonny stumbles into Charlie’s to get some real coffee from his daughter.
He was up all night with Dante and there is no sign he will wake up.
Kristina laughs as she remembers when Dante slid off Carly’s roof into a pine tree.
They both just want him to wake up.
He wishes he could be half as good as his son. He should be lying in that bed, not him.
She knows he’s sad and scared but won’t let him denigrate himself.
He’s always made her feel loved even if she wasn’t planned.
He’s her anchor and the best dad there is.
She says nothing he could do would ever make her disappointed.
He feels like a lucky man.
Natalia shows up. Kristina introduces the parents and Natalia asks Kristina for help.
She admits she was blindsided by catching her with her daughter in bed and didn’t cope with it well.
Sonny tells her that they are great together. She asks if it was always easy to accept having a gay daughter.
He says that she was always intelligent and sensed she would be like her parents.
You can’t make kids be what you want, you have to leave them to decide.
Natalia says Kristina is fortunate to have him as a dad. Kristina knows and wishes Blaze had the same with her.
At General Hospital, Willow and Liz talk about how much Dante means to people.
Once Willow putters off, John shows up and tells Liz how much Dante means to everyone and offers to give his blood.
He introduced himself and tells her he’s investigating the shooting. He has some questions for her about Jason.
Willow eavesdrops as Agent Cates asks the other nurse if Jason has tried contacting her or anyone in the family.
The nurse points out nothing has been proven about who put Dante in the hospital and the Fed tells her that if she is harboring a fugitive, she could be facing
charges.
Later, Aiden shows up with TikTok inspired cookies for his mom. They talk about Dante and how upset Jake is.
Jake doesn’t want to hear her defend Jason.
She says he’s just angry about the situation and will talk to him. He wishes her luck with that.
Chase shows up and asks to speak to the nurse.
Aiden asks him if he thinks Jake’s dad shot Dante.
Chase says he’s innocent until proven guilty but the evidence suggests Jason might have tried to off Dante but also that he called 911.
Once the cop walks off, Liz tells Aiden she’s sure Jake is sad but none of this is his fault.
She won’t let the weight of Jason’s sins crush their son.
