General Hospital recap for Thursday, January 26, 2023. In today’s GH episode, Gladys offers Selina Brando’s garage, Ned offers Michael his support, and Mac and Felicia pays condolences to Cody.
We also have Wednesday’s GH recap where Renee pulled a gun and her goons rushed Lucy, Valentin and Anna as Victor ordered Anna’s death while Trina was shocked Joss broke up with Cam.
At his penthouse, Sonny prompts Nina to eat but she’s too anxious for the results on her bloodwork. She needs to get to the hospital.
Sasha shows up. Willow told her Nina needs a friend right now. She knows they are struggling.
Sonny takes off to make a call. Nina explains she’s on edge waiting for the test results. She doesn’t want to think about what will happen if she’s not a match.
Nina worries it might be too late to have a relationship with her daughter.
Sasha assures her it’s not too late. She needs to show up for Willow like she did for her. They need to take advantage of the time they have together.
Nina wants that with all her heart but Willow and Michael seem intent on punishing her.
Sonny returns and says that he thinks the situation has motivated Michael and Willow to re-evaluate. That encourages Nina, who is determined to show Willow she will do anything for her.
The lab calls.
At General Hospital, Willow tells Michael the waiting is torture. They are both scared.
Brook Lynn is startled when she bumps into her dad by the elevators. She tells him to be nice.
They visit Michael and Willow. The men leave the ladies alone. Willow asks Brook Lynn how she’s coping with her break-up.
She doesn’t know if she should hold out hope or try to move on. Taking her hand, Willow tells her that miracles happen every day.
In the corridor, Ned admits to Michael that he’s not there just for Willow. He knows things are tense between them but that doesn’t matter now.
Regardless of what happens in business, they are family.
Nina arrives in Willow’s room and tells her that she’s not a match. She doesn’t have the right markers to be her donor.
Willow rolls over and weeps.
Back in the corridor, Sasha breaks the news to Michael and the others. Sonny tells his son things will be fine.
Sasha and Brook Lynn sit together and sob about this. In unison, they say they should call Chase.
Michael goes to see Willow. She says they are out of options. Holding her, he says they can still find her a donor.
Out in the parking lot, Nina screams and Sonny holds her. She tells him she won’t survive losing another child.

At The Savoy, Selina gives Cody her condolences and congratulates him on his work during the game.
Mac and Felicia arrive. He’s not happy to see Cody with Selina after he warned him to avoid her.
He claims she’s looking out for Dominique’s son. She tells him how much the guys on the force appreciate his mentorship, maybe Cody could too?
Mac doesn’t think Cody wants that but he also doesn’t want him getting mixed up with the wrong people.
Selina crosses over to Gladys, who isn’t wild about seeing her.
Mac and Felicia wander over to check on Cody. He’s hanging in and thanks them.
Mac knows how hard it is to live with loss.
They ask if he will come to the memorial tomorrow. He’s not sure. It might just be a reminder of what a screw-up he is.
Back over at Glady’s table, Ms. Wu tells her it’s time to cover her debts. She owes the house 175 grand.
Gladys offers her Brando’s garage. She admits that it belongs to Sasha but she has the power to do as she wishes.
Cody eavesdrops on this and recalls Sasha telling him about Gladys.
Once Gladys is gone, Cody walks over and asks who she was just talking to.
Nikolas tracks down Ava at the Metro Court. He drops the signed divorce papers on the bar and tells her she’s getting everything she asked for.
She taunts him about all he’s lost. He claims he’s owning his mistakes. Ava thinks that’s because he’s being forced.
She can’t believe she never saw how weak he is. He claims they kept beating the odds and their love still isn’t gone.
“I hold our love in the same esteem you held my dignity,” she says.
The prince tells her that things aren’t exactly as they seem. He says that one day she will realize their marriage was undermined by outside sources.
He may not have given her any reason to believe him, but he loves her with all his heart. One day, they will be together in Wyndemere again.
Their story isn’t over.
Ava almost believes him but refuses to fall for his lies again. She takes off her wedding ring and slams it on the bar before walking out.
At Kelly’s, Spencer tells Trina about his plans to become a father. He’s going for custody. Neither of her parents are upstanding citizens.
She points out some would stay the same of him.
He’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect the baby. She’s shocked when he explains that Ava is siding with him.
Trina admits she doesn’t think he’s ready to be a father. He’d be learning at the expense of the baby.
He points out that’s true of all first time parents. She says that could put a serious crimp in his future relationships.
Spencer asks if she’s saying she wouldn’t be with a man raising a baby. She avoids a direct answer so he asks if it would affect what is going on between them.
Trina keeps avoiding so he tells her to be real.
She admits that what is going on between them may not entirely be play acting. She’s stared to see him in a different light over the past few weeks.
He assures her he will never hurt her again. She knows and even told her mom how she feels about him.
Trina says that so much has changed and he’s been there for her. They can be friends.
He hopes that his going after custody won’t change things between them. Her support would mean a lot to him.
She has her reservations but is proud of him for stepping up.
He’s determined to stick to his commitments.
Carly stops by Michael’s to see Wiley. Drew is there and explains the kid is gone for a sleepover with Leo.
He asks her in to talk. They chat about the delicate balance Michael is trying to keep.
Carly insists she was trying to protect Willow. She asks what he thinks.
She regrets what she did and owes him an apology for going behind his back and lying to him.
She’s glad that Willow is forgiving him and she’s hoping he can too.
He tells her that he makes mistakes all the time. She did the right thing with Willow eventually, but he can’t be with her.
He’s got limits and she went too far. In the future, they can’t lie to each other.
She’s about to leave, but he tells her he wants a future with her. He’s ready and willing.
They kiss and she asks him to come home with her.
Carly and Drew go up to her room. They kiss. She’s wanted that for months and so has he.
Part of her wanted to guard her heart and play it safe, but she realized she couldn’t waste this chance.
He’s not afraid to take a chance. They undress each other and have sex.
