Friday, July 14 GH recap: Gladys asks Nina if she should report Sasha’s shoplifting, Portia begs Curtis to wake up, and Sam and Mac discuss taking down Selina.
Thursday’s GH recap: Selina had Cody beaten, Sasha was baffled by her shoplifting, and Curtis reunited with his mom when he flatlined.
Sonny and Alexis meet at Kelly’s to discuss Kristina. He assumes she wants him to play the bad parent. She needs him to weigh in on what their daughter has planned.
She’s sure any rational person would think that what she’s planning is a bad idea. He asks what trouble she’s headed for. Alexis is cagey and tells him he’ll have to get her to open up.
Nina calls to say that Curtis is in the ICU and they don’t know how extensive the damage is. She adds that Maxie left her a vague voicemail about Sasha.
At home, Anna grabs her gun when she hears something. When she opens the door, she finds Dante arresting someone. The cop recognizes him as one of Sonny’s guys. Anna knows why he’s there.
They let him go and head inside. He updates her on Curtis and she asks if she can run something by him unofficially.
She believes she was the sniper’s target. He knows she illegally visited the crime scene and asks for her impression.
They assume it was a professional job and it was a ghost weapon. The cop has been able to trace it back to the WSB.
They wonder if the bureau wants her dead. She doubts it since the hit failed.
Sonny shows up. His goon texted him. Anna tells the mobster she didn’t ask for help. He won’t apologize for that and the next person he sends won’t get caught.
Dante asks his father if he knows any reason the WSB would want him dead. Sonny doesn’t. Anna is sure they are after her but attempting to assassinate her like this makes no sense.
They wonder how to narrow down the suspects. Anna remembers the name of everyone she compromised. They need to use her as bait to lure her enemy out.
Mac drags Sam to the docks and asks why she was following Cody. She was trailing Selina. He worries Cody is in trouble they can’t get him out of.
He knows all about Selina and the gambling. The Savoy has been staked out for months. She assumes he doesn’t want Cody caught in the trap he set for Selina.
Mac explains that if they are going after her, it has to be over something bigger than a casino racket. He does admit that he’s hesitated because of Cody, even if he’s not his son.
They talk about what happened with the bracelet. They are sure he was set up but Sam thinks Selina got the charges dropped.
Sam admits it may be too late for them to save Cody from himself.

Nicholas Chavez’s temporary GH exit
At General Hospital, the surgeon explains to Curtis’ family that they managed to remove the bullet but it left significant damage. He’s being moved to ICU and can have one visitor at a time.
After the surgeon leaves, Molly hugs TJ. Kristina rushes over to them and tries to be positive. TJ is upset and runs off. Molly tells her sister to back off.
Molly and TJ find a corner and he says he understands why doctors aren’t allowed to operate on their loved ones. That was horrible.
After TJ walks off, Kristina goes after her sister. Molly tells her to back off again. “Not everything is about you!” she yelps.
She confronts her for wanting to give TJ a baby because she can’t and accuses her of making her fertility issues all about her. Kristina insists she was thinking of her sister, not her self.
They bicker about how narcissistic Kristina is. TJ rushes over to calm them down. Kristina flounces off as Alexis arrives.
Portia and her family gather in the ICU. They join hands and say they will get through this together.
Portia tells Trina to go in first. However, the second she goes in, she’s overwhelmed and has to exit.
Portia sits at his side and tells him how much his family loves him. They are waiting for him to come back. She loves how brave he is but she needs him to look out for himself. She doesn’t want to live in a world without him.
She hates not being able to do anything and hates that she stayed away from him after she found out he kissed Jordan. She shouldn’t have let her pride get in the way.
Holding his hand, she begs him to open his eyes.
Trina tells Stella she can’t believe she ran out like a scared little girl. Stella tells her there’s nothing to be ashamed of.
Marshall jokes they keep Stella around for her pep talks. She adds that all their nerves are fried.
When Trina leaves them alone, Stella gets dizzy when she tries to stand. Trina comes back and notices her mom is still with Curtis. She keeps worrying.
At home, Sasha tells Gladys she doesn’t understand how she could have taken those clothes from Logans’. She thought they had an arrangement.
Gladys says it’s all been looked after. Sasha goes off to take her pills. The store calls Gladys and she asks them to send over the clothes she tried on.
When Cody shows up at the door, she slams it in his face. He keeps knocking and barges in as Sasha comes back out. She explains she called him from the station. Gladys asks him what was more important than answering the call.
Cody points out she only called him because no one could find Gladys. Sasha says she’s not even sure why she called him because they aren’t friends.
He wishes he could have helped. Gladys tears into him but Sasha asks to speak to him alone.
Once Gladys is gone, Sasha tells him she’s screwed up big time. She explains what happened and how there will be no charges.
She’s sorry she dragged him into this but he says she can always call when she needs him. Nina shows up, relieved to see Sasha is okay.
Sasha asks Gladys to fill Nina in on what happened. “Our girl is in trouble,” she tells Nina.
As Gladys explains, Nina says she doesn’t think Sasha is lying. Gladys suggests she could be losing touch with reality.
Sasha joins them and goes on about how grateful she is to Chase for not letting reporters see her.
As Gladys walks Nina out to the hall, she asks her if she should let the court know Sasha was caught shoplifting. Nina tells her that will only cause trouble. Is that what she wants?
Meanwhile, Cody admits to Sasha that he is worried about her and they are friends. If she needs anything, he wants her to call him.
Gladys returns and declares Sasha needs to rest. As soon as Cody exits, Gladys tells Sasha she can not count on him.
