Friday, July 14 recap of B&B: Wyatt urges Liam to dig deep for compassion, Taylor tells Ridge she doesn’t want their son dragged down by the Logans, and Hope walks in on her daughter with Thomas.
Thursday’s B&B recap: Brooke walked in on Thomas and Hope having sex.
Brooke arrives at Thomas’ place. Since the front door is unlocked, she walks in and soon spots her daughter’s security pass on a table.
She makes her way up the stairs and finds Hope and Thomas having sex in his bed.
“What are you doing?” she blurts. This is unbelievable.
She demands to know what her married daughter is doing in Thomas’ bed.
How could she do this?
Hope thinks. She and Thomas get dressed in magical time and then Brooke explains she came to say she doesn’t blame Thomas but now she’s not so sure.
Hope points out that Liam left her. Her mom refuses to believe that and declares that whatever happened here was a mistake and that she cannot be with Thomas.
Thomas says neither of them expected this and Hope tells her mom she doesn’t need rescuing.
She hates what’s happened but Liam made it clear it’s over.
Maybe she’s moving too fast with Thomas but it was also beautiful, passionate, and romantic.
If anyone can understand that, it should be her.
Hope didn’t think she could do something like this, but what she and Thomas shared was beautiful and she was following her heart.
Telling her she never wanted to be like her was wrong.
Her mom doesn’t want her to follow in her footsteps and doesn’t accept anything good can come of this.
She orders them to wipe what happened from their memories and tells Hope she has to return to her family.
“This affair ends today!” she declares.

At Forrester Creations, Carter tells Ridge he’s surprised that Brooke is going to speak to Thomas.
Ridge thinks it’s a good idea. Taylor wanders in, looking for her son.
They were supposed to have dinner but she hasn’t been able to reach him.
She’s confused when they tell her that he’s with Brooke. They say she knows that the kiss was Hope’s fault.
The doctor is sure her son will end up getting the blame and she doesn’t want to see the Logans drag him down. Carter escapes.
Taylor reminds Ridge of how hard their son has worked.
They are both proud of him. She repeats that she doesn’t want to see the Logans sabotage him.
Ridge is sure it was just a kiss and nothing will come of it. Their son has changed and is no longer obsessed with Hope.
She’s sure this could be dangerous for Thomas and Hope could pull him into her barrel and pull the trigger.
She does not trust Hope or her mother.
He says this isn’t about Brooke, but about their children.
He’s sure everyone will eventually forget the moment they shared in Rome. All will work out just fine.
She wonders what’s going on with him.
He says a simple kiss won’t change anything.
They stare into each other’s eyes.
Wyatt sees that Liam is still working at Spencer Publications so he brings him some Chinese food.
He asks if he’s been burying himself in work as a distraction from his marriage.
When will he go and talk to Hope?
Liam doesn’t want to talk about Hope and Thomas. His brother suggests they just discuss his wife.
They sit and eat and Wyatt talks about reassuring their father all is well. He didn’t tell him anything about Hope and Thomas.
He knows this situation is hard but it’s not the end of the world.
He has a beautiful family and everyone can see that. Liam doesn’t think his wife does. He urges him to find some compassion for her.
Liam doesn’t have the superpower to be that forgiving. His brother pressures him to dig deep.
Liam appreciates him looking out for his family.
He wants to forgive Hope but he can’t get the image of her kissing another man out of his head.
Wyatt says it was just one kiss. His brother needs to let this go and think about his family.
“Why Thomas?” Liam asks. That kiss says something about Hope.
His brother repeats that Hope wants him, not Thomas.
