General Hospital recap for Wednesday, November 9, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Cody tells Mac their DNA was not a match, while Willow explains to Michael why she was in TJ’s arms, and Finn reacts to Liz’s news that she killed his wife.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Nina and Sonny told Michael of their suspicions about TJ and Willow, Laura and Nikolas caught up, and Liz let Finn know what she discovered about his wife.
At Liz’s place, she tells Finn that his wife took the fall because of her.
How does she even know this is true? He asks.
Reiko told him she tripped. Liz remembers now. She’s been pushing him away so she’d never have to know what happened and neither would he.
He shakes his head, refusing to believe. Why would she push her?
She explains that her dad and Reiko were having an affair. He’s stumped. He’s never even heard of a Jeff Webber.
She’s sorry and loves him. He’s sorry too. He touches her cheek and then takes off, devastated.
She calls Terry and asks her to come talk, then thinks about Nikolas comforting her.
At the castle, Nikolas jumps on a call and tells someone that Esme’s nowhere to be found.
He moves through the place and notices glass on the floor. The lightbulb in the lamp is broken. He wonders why someone would break the light.
While he’s pondering that, the Hook Killer shows up in their hooded cloak and raises the hook.
Nikolas senses something and moves to get the fire poker.
The hook comes down but there’s a struggle.
The killer runs away, leaving the hook behind. Nikolas falls and hears his phone beeping. Liz is calling.
He uses his phone as a flashlight and finds the hook, grabbing it with a kerchief from his pocket.
He can see it’s from their boathouse and thinks Esme should have killed him while she could.
At the hospital, Cody opens the DNA tests. He says that Mac isn’t his dad. Mac asks if he’s sure. “Yeah, it’s not a match.”
Felicia wants to see but Mac says it won’t change anything. She hugs him, sorry.
Cody looks upset and congratulates him on the Scorpio gene pool is pristine. Mac thanks him for agreeing to do the test.
Britt and Felicia leave the men alone since Cody wants to talk.
Cody heard he was a great guy and other than Dante, he has no friends there.
He asks if he wants to go for a beer sometime, maybe hiking.
Mac says he doesn’t need to fake a friendship to spare his feelings. Cody asks what there is to fake.
Mac agrees they’ll go out for beers. He clasps the younger man’s shoulder.
Michael catches Willow in TJ’s arms in his office and demands answers.
“What did I walk in on?” Willow’s shocked.
Does he think she’s cheating?
She asks if Nina said something to him and denies cheating. TJ too says that Nina’s wrong. TJ gives them privacy.
Willow admits she’s been on edge because…she tears up and reveals she has leukemia and that she’s known since she got pregnant.
She’s sorry she kept it from him. He hugs her, looking devastated.
She tells him she’s fine and explains she hasn’t done chemo for the baby’s sake.
Yet. She didn’t want to lose the kid. But now, her leukemia is at stage 4. Michael’s rocked to his core.
What’s next? She starts chemo and possibly a bone marrow transplant. Michael supports her. She’s afraid she hasn’t much time left.
From the car, Valentin wonders why he hasn’t heard from Dex yet.
Sonny makes a call from the hospital, asking after Anna. Dante catches him and questions him.
He’s just ensuring Anna gets taken care of. They discuss doing a boys’ night, making Sonny think something is up.
Dante knows his dad has had a lot on his mind. He gets a call and needs to get to work.
The van transporting Anna and Heather has crashed and Dex is out cold.
He wakes up and finds the guard beside him unconscious, as well as Anna in the back seat.
He wakes her up and she’s hit her head.
Dex says they need to go or they’ll take her to the hospital.
She doesn’t want that. Heather’s escaped. Anna worries.
She’s so dangerous and they need to find her. Dex undoes her cuffs. She’s dizzy.
They take off. Valentin finds them and tries to get them to go with him but Anna worries about Heather being on the loose.
He convinces her to go with him and they leave Dex behind to deal with the driver.
He’s in pain and goes to call Sonny but hears sirens. He tells the unconscious man that help is on the way.
Back at the hospital, Britt finds Cody. She says at least his life doesn’t have to change.
He watches Felicia hug Mac with tears in her eyes and says, “Yeah.” She’s worried about him but he sighs. It’s not like he’s known Cody long.
He was excited at the prospect. He’d have enjoyed if Cody was his son but it’s okay because he loves his life as is. He’ll be fine. She nods.
They’ll video call Robin when they get home. He answers a call and tells them he’s on the way.
He tells his wife there’s an issue with Anna’s transport to Pentonville.
He dashes off and Cody approaches. He’s worried about Mac. Felicia thinks he just feels guilty that Mac’s hopes were dashed.
Cody thinks he’s better off without him.
Felicia says to take care. She means it. She goes.
Cody returns to Britt who has a neck ache. He says she needs muscle relaxants.
He gives her a latte and she becomes uptight. She thinks he’s hiding his true feelings about not being Mac’s son. He says he’s been alone most of his life.
It serves him well. She leaves and he opens the test results again.
It shows that he is Mac’s biological son.
TJ finds Sonny in another area of the hospital. They discuss Willow and though he and his son are on bad terms, he says he was hoping TJ wouldn’t jeopardize things between him and his wife.
TJ says he isn’t having an affair with Willow.
And Willow doesn’t need this. Sonny admits he told Michael. TJ gives his word nothing happened.
Sonny knows something is up but that’s not for TJ to say. Sonny trusts him.
Back at the scene of the accident, Mac and Dante talk about the security guard. He’ll be fine.
The driver was a plant to spring one of the passengers.
Dante sends out a BOLO for Heather and Anna, but calls Anna a fugitive, not a threat, though Heather is. Dante calls Sonny to let him know about the crash and Sonny worries that Heather was with Anna.
In Valentin’s van, he and Anna are stopped. Dex will be fine, he says. Sonny will care for him.
She thanks him for taking care of her. He kisses her hand. He likes caring for her.
She hopes he’s ready for this. It’ll be a bumpy ride.
Dex climbs through the forest, clutching his side. He’s been shot.
Finn sits on the floor of his office at the hospital, upset.
Esme arrives on the pier and hides when Liz shows up.
