General Hospital recap for Wednesday, December 28, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Anna and Valentin turn to Andre for help, Spencer apologizes to Ava, and Victor warns Nikolas about Ava.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Brook Lynn realized she loves Chase, and Britt told Cody they have no future before getting fake IDs from Selina.
Anna and Valentin are in the Netherlands. They meet with Andre (played by Anthony Montgomery), which is a little awkward for her current beau.
Anna tells them they all need to work together to take down Victor. Andre isn’t sure what he can do.
They have tea and discuss the work he did for Victor at the WSB. She asks where his secret base was.
Andre says it was somewhere in Paris, but he doesn’t know exactly because he was blindfolded.
Anna says she thinks Lucy could be captive there. Andre wonders if he should go with them.
Valentin doesn’t want to allow it. Andre doesn’t think she should trust the Cassadine.
Anna reminds them they are all dangerous and she trusts them both.
After Andre leaves, Valentin says he doesn’t trust him.
In her hotel room, Britt packs her suitcase. There are only three things in it.
Obrecht starts knocking on the door, so her daughter shoves her luggage under the bed before answering it.
Liesl storms in wearing velvet and starts interrogating her about what she will be wearing.
After whipping out an outfit, she spots the suitcase. Her daughter claims she’s going on vacation.
Obrecht wants her itinerary.
She knows she wasn’t the warmest mother growing up, so he pushed her into being tough. She thinks she’s a miracle.
Britt says she would have been that way without having it drilled into her.
Her mom explains that she has betrayed her trust. She told Nina about her condition…and Sonny.
Her daughter isn’t thrilled by this, but Liesl can’t keep the secret any longer.
Britt is sorry for all the pain she’s caused. Liesl says any pain she’s feeling is worth it to have her as her daughter.
“There is no one like you,” Britt says, listing her many extraordinary qualities. No one she has met has felt as deeply and passionately as she does.
It’s been an honor and adventure to be her daughter. She’s so glad she’s her mom.
Liesl is so proud of her daughter. When she falters, she promises to be by her side to make her soar.
They hug.
Once Britt is dressed, her mom tells her she looks stunning and they take a photo.
In the tower, Esme plans a fire until Nikolas arrives.
He’s annoyed that she hasn’t been eating and he won’t tolerate a hunger strike.
Threatening to get her an eating tube, he exits.
She pouts.
When Dimitrios shows up, he offers to bring her a pre-cut steak.
Sitting up, she tells him there is something else she’d like: company for dinner.
He tells her it wouldn’t be right.
She claims he favorite New Year’s memory was a romantic dinner. What better way to make sure she’s eating than to have dinner with her?
He agrees to consider it and she tells him how much it would mean to her.
Once he exits, she tells her baby that she only needs one more thing to put her plan in motion.
At Wyndemere, Spencer is eager to get to Britt’s party, but his great-uncle wants to make sure he can attend the family brunch tomorrow.
Spencer has no intention of speaking to his father in 2023. He complains about his father taking advantage of Liz.
Victor says they were consenting adults and sees no big deal.
Spencer is disgusted. Victor says Nikolas can’t cut ties with her now.
They argue about family until Nikolas interrupts. He thinks it’s best his son leaves.
Once Spencer exits, Victor asks the prince if he really thinks a new baby will give him a second chance.
The prince says Liz had a miscarriage. His uncle is sorry to hear that. Nikolas wonders why Ava would have told him about Liz in the first place.
Victor encourages him not to give Ava any more ammunition for the divorce.
He urges him not to trust Liz with any family secrets.
Moping, the prince complains about what a mess he’s made of his life. His uncle thinks he’s headed in the right direction. He has better things in store and so does Ava.

Ava and Trina are at Kelly’s. She shows Trina the picture of her with Spencer in The Invader and asks if she can count on him.
Trina explains she was planning to break up with Rory when he died. She can’t tell Spencer how she feels about him now.
Ava encourages her to give herself time to heal.
Trina doesn’t think she can until Esme is stopped.
After flashing back to plotting with Spencer, she says she is going to follow her heart and do what’s right.
Spencer arrives and Ava urges her to be careful.
When the Cassadine approaches them, he asks to speak to Ava alone.
She assumes he wants money or help with Trina. As she babbles, he tells her to shut up so he can apologize.
She’s taken aback.
He thought she wasn’t good enough for his father, but it turns out the reverse was true. No one deserved to be put through what he did to her.
She says his father let them both down.
He tells her he’s taking Trina to Britt’s father to help her get through her grief.
She warns him that he better be a better man than his father.
Once she leaves, he joins Trina and they rehash their plan. When he says she doesn’t have to help him, she insists she does… even if that means pretending to enjoy his company.
Martin joins Laura in Pentonville. They chat about her helping him out of jail in Ireland.
Cyrus is shown in, happy to see his siblings and declares he’s been blessed.
As they sit around a table, Laura asks him what he wants.
He warns her about the serpent in her garden. He suggests Victor will frame her for getting Spencer out early.
He tells her there is a mole in the mayor’s office. Eileen Ashby is working for Victor.
Realizing she already knows, he guesses she’s using this to play Victor.
Cyrus promises that he is only warning her because they are family. Victor messed with his family and he has no intention to turn the other cheek.
He offers to use resources they don’t have. Don’t they want Victor to pay for Luke’s death?
Laura thinks he’s using her to go after Victor. She tells him vengeance won’t be his because he’s not God.
As she exits, he tells her he will be right there when she needs him.
