Monday, August 7 GH recap: Sam and Gladys argue about Sasha, Anna asks Robert about Pikeman, and Olivia offers to organize Sonny and Nina’s wedding.
Friday’s GH recap: Ava admitted to Austin that Sonny knows she killed Nikolas, and Laura and Kevin found no trace of her son.
Sam takes Scout to her swim lesson at the pool. They miss Drew.
Gladys watches them and says this breaks her heart. Sam sends the little girl away after Gladys asks how she’s doing with her daddy in the slammer.
Sam threatens to throw her in the pool if she says something like that again.
Gladys claims she’s just upset to be in the spot where Sasha stabbed Cody. The PI demands to know who drove her to that.
They bicker and Gladys accuses her of being out to get her.
Sam wonders why she’s so paranoid and Gladys claims she’s the only one who is truly taking care of Sasha.
Storming off, Gladys declares she will never know Sasha the way she does.
Sam calls Ferncliff to get an appointment to see Sasha but is told she will have to have Gladys’ approval.
Scout notices her mom has that look she gets when she’s done something wrong.
Sam assures her someone else has done something wrong this time.
Spencer is surprised when Valentin shows up at the penthouse.
He informs him that Kevin and Laura are still searching for his father.
Esme and Ace interrupt and she suggests that Nikolas could be dead.
Valentin has seen no evidence of that.
Spencer thinks he’s hiding again. This is just what he does.
He makes a mess and runs away. Laura would be better off not wasting her time.
They let Valentin hold the baby and he commends Spencer on stepping up.
He says that Esme has been a good mother, which she thanks him for.
When Esme takes the baby off, Spencer thanks him for what he did in Greenland. He’s been wrong about him.
“No you weren’t,” Valentin says. They have an opportunity to reinvent the family now that Victor is gone. They shake on it.
Esme returns and tells Spencer again how nice it was for him to say she’s a good mother.
They decide to take some pictures of Ace together. After they do, they laugh and look at the pictures.
She adjust his hair and they share an awkward moment.
Cody tracks down Diane at teh salon and tells her he won’t be co-operating with the PCPD or pressing charges against Sasha.
She reluctantly agrees to listen to him. He offers to give him some specific details of what he thinks is going on after she gets him into Ferncliff.
The lawyer has no power to give him authorization.
Anna barges into Robert’s office and asks him where he stands with the WSB.
Neither of them has much contact with it since nearly everyone has been fired.
Her de-briefing was weird and orchestrated in a way she didn’t recognize.
She asks what he knows about Pikeman. He says they are an independent contractor and have been around forever.
She flashes back to her de-briefing and how there was a Pikeman file with the agent.
Anna abruptly leaves.
Diane arrives and informs the DA that Cody will not be pressing charges.
Since he won’t cooperate, there is no case so the charges should be dropped.
She invites him to the auto show this weekend but insists it is not a date.
He just needs a new car so he won’t be stranded by the side of the road again. A new model could be exciting.
Anna goes home and makes notes about her de-briefing, and her conversations with Sonny and Robert.
She draws a little diagram and sees that Valentin is at the center of it.
She jumps back, shudders, and takes a deep breath.
When Valentin arrives, she tells him she thinks she knows who shot at her and she thinks he knows them too.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
At Ferncliff, Sasha asks Mandy if she can get in touch with her guardian.
Mandy soon returns and says Gladys isn’t answering. Sasha asks her to call Cody next.
Dr. Montague interrupts and asks her to consult him before making calls.
After they take of Sasha’s restraints, he sends the nurse out and asks why she asked to speak to Cody. It seems awkward since she tried to kill him.
They go over what she can remember from before the stabbing.
Sasha is sure she was coping but things started going wrong after she started taking the pills he gave her.
He insists the pills did not do that and pulls out a bag of pills that he claims they found in her purse.
He says she’s clearly had a relapse and they need to get the drugs out of her system and injects her with something.
Soon after, she’s shivering and saying she doesn’t belong there.
Cody arrives at reception and claims to be Dante. He asks to see Sasha.
Janice at the desk refuses when he doesn’t have his driver’s license. The only way he can get in is if he has the right ID or is a patient.
Brick arrives at the Metro Court and Sonny joins him as Nina complains to Olivia about the wedding prep.
Olivia is not in the mood to listen to this when Neddie is running all over town doing who knows what.
This is all reminding her of what happened between Nina and Sonny after he lost his identity.
When she looks in Ned’s eyes, it’s like he’s not there.
She thought they were making some progress but… He was out all night last night. For all she knows, he’s falling for another woman.
Olivia worries he’s having one-night stands across the city. It breaks her heart that Leo like Neddie but keeps wondering when his father will return. She thinks she’s found something to focus on to get her mind off this.
“I’m going to plan your wedding,” she declares.
Even if Carly is her best friend, Nina seems to make Sonny happy and she wants that.
She tells her that Carly still blames Ned for turning her in but she’s sure that her husband is innocent.
They have been through worse and she’s sure they can get through this.
Nina gets awkward and changes the topic back to the wedding.
Olivia insists they have to have it there. They talk dates.
Across the room, Brick tells Sonny that Betty worked as a nanny and for a trucking company in Pautauk.
He tells him what he’s learned about Austin. There’s nothing much. They move on to Gordon.
Gordon is an ex-con who worked for a trucking company in Pautauk.
Mason also works for that company and seems to be the biggest fish in the pond. There’s no record of what he really does.
Sonny explains he’s blackmailing Ava with Nikolas’ body. They can’t do anything until they get it back.
Nina and Olivia run into them and inform them about the wedding plans.
Brick tells smiling Sonny he lives a charmed life.
