Monday, August 7 recap of B&B: Li tells Finn what he did was wrong, Steffy tells Liam she can’t trust Finn, and Brooke asks Hope about Thomas.
Friday’s B&B recap: Steffy moved the kids to Eric’s and told Liam Sheila saved Kelly and she’d left Finn.
At Eric’s, Kelly tells her parents that she’s okay and they don’t need to worry. They tell her how much they love her. “And you love mommy so much too?” she asks Liam.
They send her off to see Hayes. Liam tells Steffy he meant what he said about Kelly and her. After they talk about pancakes, he says Eric must be happy to have the kids there.
Steffy guesses he has something else to say. Liam admits he’s a little shocked that she actually left with the kids. She didn’t want to pull them out of their home but doesn’t feel like they are safe there. Finn is too vulnerable to Sheila.
She didn’t think walking out could be a possibility but had to get the children out of there. He’s sure they will be safer there and puts his hand on her knee.
She hates to speak ill of Finn but what the hell was he doing? She can’t believe he asked her to cut Sheila some slack.
He’s sorry she’s doubting her husband and he’s as shocked as she is. Holding her hand, he tells her she can lean on him because he’s not going anywhere.
At the cliff house, Li tells Finn that his wife left him for good reason. he turned his back and Sheila is in his life. He insists that Liam is trying to undermine his marriage.
She rants about Sheila and prompts him to admit her going free is an injustice.
She asks how he could have embraced Sheila. He can’t help feeling something for her.
Li tells him he can’t. If he does, he will lose Steffy forever.
She tells him she can never call Sheila “mom” and it was wrong to ask Steffy to cut her some slack. She can’t blame Steffy for leaving.
Refusing to coddle him, she says he’s made his wife feel unsafe. They can’t forget what she did just because she was in the right place at the right time.
He can never be close to Sheila again.
Finn says his marriage is strong enough to withstand Liam and Sheila. His mom calls him a fool, but she still has hope he can reunite with Steffy.
After Li leaves, Finn sadly looks at all the photos of the kids and flashes back to when he found Steffy in Monaco after his “death.”
“We lost each other once, I’m not going to let that happen again,” he vows.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
In Brooke’s office, she tells Hope that she’s the “it” girl in the fashion world at the moment.
Hope is grateful to have a distraction right now.
They smile as they recall modeling together in Rome. It’s a special memory for both of them.
Brooke remembers how wonderful Rome was.
Her daughter points out it may have been wonderful for her and Ridge, but not so much for Liam.
Brooke feels like he divorce is not something Hope wants.
Her daughter says they were at an impasse.
Her mom reminds her she has kids and this isn’t all about her.
Hope is tired of feeling like she’s sharing Liam.
She’s sure her mom must understand that after what happened with Taylor.
“This it girl doesn’t want to come second to anyone anymore,” Hope declares.
Brooke asks where this leaves her and Thomas.
Hope claims she’s trying to concentrate on work.
She can’t tell her how good it feels to be with a man who sees her as his everything. She no longer needs reassurance that she’s important.
Hope has never felt more energized and alive and doesn’t have time to compete for someone’s affection. Brooke is sure she doesn’t want love advice from her, but thinks she should fight for her marriage.
