Fri Oct 27, Y&R day ahead recap: Mamie has advice for Nate, Ashley and Tucker have it out and Nate finds a text Tucker sends to Mamie to meet.
Thursday’s Y&R day ahead: Adam and Sally Have Sex, Victor Tells Nate He Fears for His Sanity, Nick and Victoria Decide to Go Along with Their Father’s Scheme

At the Athletic Club, Nate flashes back to talking to Victor about getting him diagnosed if he’s nervous about his mental health.
Aunt Mamie arrives and asks what he’s thinking of.
He brushes it off as a conflict at Newman.
Mamie says he can keep growing in Newman turmoil or realize there’s more to life and move on.
Nate knows she just wants him at Chancellor-Winters and he can’t leave Victoria in the lurch.
Mamie smirks. Sounds like things are getting ugly.
He refuses to tell her a thing and they share a laugh.
She teases that something is coming up over there that Jill won’t like and he sighs.
Jack and Diane talk about Ashley tying up loose ends, according to Mrs. Martinez while they have tea at the Abbott manse.
Jack curses, thinking she’s with Tucker.
He calls and she doesn’t answer so Diane can’t believe she’s about to defend her but Jack and Billy tried the same thing. Why shouldn’t she?
She knows Tucker and if anyone has a chance of getting through to him, it’s his sister.
Jack retorts that he’s just manipulated her and he hates his sister being around “that lowlife son-of-a-bitch.” Kyle appears.
He and Harrison are going to the park. Linda will pick him up so he can take a meeting for a prospective job. Jack wishes he’d return to Jabot.
He will if he replaces Billy with him and Jack offers a COO position.
Kyle snorts. He doesn’t want it. He finds it an insult and demotion.
Jack’s speechless so Kyle leaves. Diane sides with Kyle. Jack wants to do the right thing.
She suggests he step down and let Kyle and Billy run the show.
They can go on holiday!
They laugh and Jack finds it food for thought.
He worries the men would kill each other.
Ashley arrives at Tucker’s and he tries small talk.
She shuts it down and he brings up how she keeps doing that.
Is she there to ask what nefarious scheme he’s working on? “None,” he says.
She looks unconvinced but hopes it’s true.
He tells her that her brothers already tried to chase him out of town.
She apologizes. He asks if she had a change of heart.
She’s just started listening to her heart but he sees through her and knows she hopes he’ll let his guard down.
She says Jack told her he’d react this way.
Tucker laughs at the irony.
She doesn’t like any of this and calls it a struggle.
He asks what this means.
Can they go back to where she ripped out his heart?
She says not after what happened.
“Yeah. I figured.” She also won’t turn her back on Jabot.
She wants to be civil but he reminds her she told Jack that he terrified her.
Ashley says he did! He took her change of heart as a rejection of him.
Does he take accountability for any of this?
“You got mad. You were in a blind rage, Tucker and you made me afraid of you.”
She starts to cry.
He made her afraid of him and he has no regrets.
Tucker has regrets for it but not for what he said. He’s sorry for the way he said it.
She says it wasn’t calculated and she isn’t there to warn or threaten him. He laughs.
She asks if he wants to throw her out. Is that all they have left?
He says probably. She suggests they both take blame here.

At Chancellor Park, Kyle flashes back to Audra asking him to join her to take over Jabot.
She tells him Tucker wants him to do a loyalty test.
He grins, wondering what that means.
She shrugs and they talk about how brilliant an idea she thinks joining them can be.
He seems uneasy and she questions him.
He says nothing has changed and tells her about his conversation with his dad this morning.
Audra doesn’t know what Jack’s thinking.
They talk about Billy and how Jack doesn’t want to be responsible if Billy goes to some bad places if he loses his job.
Audra had no idea so Kyle brings her up to speed with Billy’s drinking and gambling.
He doesn’t want to say much since Billy’s still his uncle.
She asks how Kyle will feel if they implode when they learn what he’s up to.
Kyle tells his lover that Ashley’s back from Paris but is surprised Kyle didn’t question her about her fight with Tucker or anything.
Kyle confesses his aunt warned her that Audra and Tucker are using him for information about her, the Abbotts and Jabot.
“She’s not wrong,” Audra says but not about using him.
Kyle doesn’t care. As long as he gets what he wants, he’s good.
He doesn’t think she’s using him but his family thinks he’s using her as a distraction from his divorce.
He moves to kiss her but since Harrison is nearby, he doesn’t.
Tucker messages to see if Kyle’s still in.
Kyle says yes and goes to say bye to Harrison while Audra calls Tucker to give him a heads-up about Ashley.
He knows and asks her to bring him Kyle.
Ashley finds Nate and Mamie dining at the Athletic Club when she leaves Tucker’s.
There are embraces all around and Mamie offers to lend an ear.
They agree to it and Nate spots a text coming in from Tucker asking to meet. He says nothing before the ladies leave.
On his way out of Athletic Club, Nate stops Audura and Kyle and is annoyed that they’re not supposed to be seeing each other.
Audra tells him to mind his own business and they head upstairs while Nate texts Devon and Lily to meet.
Upstairs, Tucker says Audra tells him Kyle’s willing to betray his family.
“She’s right. I am,” he reluctantly confesses. Tucker asks why he should believe him.
Back at the mansion, Ashley and Mamie hug while they tell Jack and Diane she saw Tucker.
Jack blasts her for going but she wanted to find out what he’s planning.
Jack assumes he saw through her. She agrees.
Jack begs her to stay away from Tucker and she gives him two thumbs up and goes for coffee.
