Tuesday, Dec 19: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Hope helps Brooke get things together for Donna, Luna and Carter contemplate Forrester without Eric, and RJ assures Ridge he did the right thing.
Monday’s Early B&B recap: As Eric remained unconscious in recovery, RJ and Zende argued.
In the design office at Forrester, Zende and Luna talk about how unfair all of this.
If he’s known what was going on, he would have worked his tail off to help his granddad.
He’s not feeling slighted anymore and is glad that Eric had her and RJ to help him.
He’s determined to work with Ridge to finish Eric’s collection.
Carter arrives as Luna gets calls from buyers, sending in their love to Eric.
Carter can’t imagine Forrester without “the man himself.”
She wonders who will lead if they lose him.
He says things will be crazy in the immediate future but things will go on.
It will just be sad if no one sees Eric’s latest designs.
She mentions that Zende wants to wrap up the final collection.
Carter ponders that. He’s impressed.
Luna tells him that Zende felt slighted by RJ being brought in there the way he was.
She imagines this has something to do with his desire to help.
RJ arrives in the main office of Forrester Creations.
He and his dad talk about how tough this situation is on Brooke.
Ridge has told her about their plans to work together to finish Eric’s collection.
Everyone needs some good news.
Ridge just wants to do right by his dad.
RJ assures him he made the right decision by allowing for the treatment.
RJ offers to look after things if his dad needs a rest.
Zende comes in and asks if there’s news. He tells Ridge that he did the right thing and marvels about the outpouring of respect that has been coming in from the fashion community.
He says they have an obligation to finish Eric’s line.
Zende has been studying his latest collection and thinks they should honor him by finishing it.
Ridge agrees.
Zende is glad he’s stoked and asks when they can get started.
All they have to do is follow the roadmap and he’s sure that RJ can work with them and learn from them.
Ridge sends his son out. He appreciates Zende’s enthusiasm.
“I’ll find a way for you to help RJ and me,” he says.
Zende is taken aback. Ridge assures him he thinks he’s a talented designer but RJ started this and needs to finish it.
Zende points out that RJ is still green and has nowhere close to his expertise and experience.
He wants to do this for his granddad. This final collection has to be perfect.
He thinks RJ can help but they can’t let Eric down. The stakes are too high.
“RJ will have his time and you can do collections with your son. But not with granddad’s final collection.
Not this time,” Zende insists.
RJ returns to Luna and tells her that his father wants to collaborate with him to finish the line.
He’s glad his dad thinks so highly of him as a designer.
She gives him a hug and flashes back to Zende telling her how determined he is to finish the collection.

At Eric’s, Brooke tells her daughter that Eric crossed to the other side for a moment. They agree that he has to wake up.
Hope notices she’s still scared. Weeping Brooke doesn’t know how not to be.
Her daughter knows how much he’s meant to her and still does.
She knows this isn’t easy for her but needs her to tell her how she’s doing.
Brooke has been putting everyone before herself and has hardly had time to think about how she’s handling this.
She’s spent a lot of her life with Eric and she doesn’t know what she will do if…
She looks up at his portrait about the fireplace.
Brooke calls her sister to check in and days she’s just picking up some of her things.
Getting off the line, she reminds Hope it was an experimental procedure so it will take some time to know if it works.
Hope is glad her aunt has Katie with her. They hug.
Donna sends a list of things for them to bring to the hospital. Hope says they need to come together to support each other.
They pack chips, water and makeup for Donna. Brooke wants to be with her sister and Ridge. He’s struggling with his decision.
Hope is surprised when her mom mentions that Ridge wants to finish Eric’s line with RJ.
Brooke says that one positive thing to come out of this is that it’s brought Ridge and RJ together.
