Tues Dec 19, 2023: Today on General Hospital, Cyrus gets bumped from the nativity, Ava vents to Nina, and BLQ tells Ned her plans for Deception.
Monday’s GH recap: Trina refused to forgive Esme, Anna recognized Brennan’s photo, and Esme had a memory.
Nina runs into Ava’s penthouse and tells her she needs her help before her whole world comes crashing down.
She fills her friend in on Ned blackmailing her now. Ava urges her to get him what he wants.
Nina doesn’t see that working out. This is an impossible situation.
“I have problems of my own, y’know?” Ava complains. She brings out the gun that showed up and says someone is either stalking her or trying to frame her.
Ava still assumes that Nikolas is terrorizing her. For all she knows, the gun is the one that killed Austin.
Nina tries calming her down and suggests they go to the plaza.
Michael joins his father and Donna in the plaza. She’s dressed as a lamb for the nativity.
Cyrus pops up to say he’s part of it too. He’s playing one of the wise men.
Michael doesn’t want him anywhere near his sister but Sonny is keeping his eyes on Renault. He gets his son to take Donna off.
Sonny tells Cyrus he’s been replaced in the nativity. Martin and Laura arrive. The lawyer is in costume.
Laura asks her brother to step back. He agrees and walks off.
Sonny thanks the mayor for making the wise men swap.
After Martin walks off, Sonny tells the mayor he won’t trust Cyrus near anyone he cares about.
They chat about Charlotte and Anna until Nina and Ava arrive. Sonny has missed his wife.
Michael and Donna chat about what’s happening on Christmas. Cyrus watches them, smiling.
Ava spots Cyrus and doesn’t want him near her daughter. Michael assures her it’s been dealt with.
She’s sure he’s as dangerous as he ever was.
When Laura approaches, Ava asks if she will keep looking for Nikolas. The mayor is sure he will come home when he’s ready.
When Sonny is left with Ava, he notices she’s jumpy and she starts to rant until Donna rushes over. She asks if Avery and Ava can come over for Christmas.
They make excuses and send her off. Ava asks Sonny not to do this for her. He’s not.
She promises not to intrude on his first Christmas with Nina.
Nina takes Michael aside. She tells him that Ned is blackmailing her to get information on Aurora.
She asks him to help her if he wants to keep holding something over her head. He’s starting to think it’s better to just let everything out.
She threatens to tells his mother that he’s known she tipped off the SEC all along and never said anything.
Nina backs down and asks him to make up something she can pass on to Ned.
Cyrus eavesdrops and smiles.
