Tuesday, Oct 31: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Esther beats the Countess to a dress, Carter tabulates the results from the sales, and RJ tells Brooke he can’t stay silent any more.
Monday’s B&B recap: The fashion show continued with Brooke confronting Katie and Donna for keeping a secret about Eric and the Countess glaring at Esther.
Eric watches in the wings as the latest design excites the awe of the guests assembled in the Forrester showroom.
As he and Ridge glare at each other, Brooke scowls slightly and crosses over to Donna.
A model wearing a beaded diamond and crystal bodice with a train and silk bow twirls around the room next.
Esther is overwhelmed by the beauty and starts scribbling on her card.
As everyone claps, Katie calls the designers to take a bow and thanks the guests for coming.
Ridge goes backstage and tells his father it was a helluva a showing.
“My part of it anyways,” Eric says. They shake on the best man winning.
Ridge steps away and Eric coughs.
Carter tells Ridge that he will begin tabulating the orders so they can see who won.
Zende was amazed by it all and Paris says they should see the comments online.
Esther hands Ridge her order and he says it was a very good choice.
The countess hands hers to Ridge.
It’s the same design the countess wanted.
She reminds Ridge of what a loyal customer she is.
She refuses to own the same dress as a simpleton.
Ridge says Esther put her order in first so it goes to her.
The countess is furious.
She will never buy another Forrester or shop at Fenmore’s.
Esther is amazed the gown is hers.
Ridge reminds her she’ll have to come back for a fitting.
Esther looks over at Charlie’s, who gives her the thumbs up as she tells Lauren she will finally have a gown as beautiful as Mrs. Chancellor’s.
In the design office, Luna congratulates RJ on his first fashion show.
As they hug, Brooke interrupts.
They get awkward and Luna runs off.
Brooke tells her son how proud his parents are of him.
But something about his grandfather is troubling her.
Her son can’t hold onto this secret any longer and says there is something the entire family needs to know.
Eric swore him to secrecy and Donna as well.
RJ explains that the reason that Eric keeps calling this his grand finale is because he’s dying.
Left alone in the showroom, Esther holds the gown in a bag and spins around.
Charlie comes in and tells her how happy he is that she got the dress of her dreams.
She has to head back to Genoa City with Lauren but has liked getting to know him.
She hopes she sees him again when she comes back for her fittings.
He’ll miss her. She’ll miss him.
Charlie kisses her and she drops the gown.
Lauren calls to her to leave.
Esther almost leaves without the gown.
She hands it to him and says that maybe it doesn’t mean more to her than anything else in the world.
After she walks off, he says her name.
Zende and Luna talk about the rush the show gave them.
He asks her to have drinks with the team.
Ridge and Paris return and Carter announces he’s ready to tabulate.
They will know the answer soon enough.
“I’m dying to know.” Eric announces as he and Donna pop up.

Daily B&B spoilers into November
After everyone leaves, Eric returns to the showroom alone and imagines his gowns being modelled.
When Donna joins him, he says this was his final collection.
She wishes he wouldn’t look at it like that but tells him how proud she is of his magnificent designs.
He says he has to win this to maintain his role.
Ridge can’t take it away from him.
In the central office, Ridge gives a quote to a reporter over the phone.
Carter goes over the numbers.
He explains that one collection sold out and the other didn’t.
Ridge prompts him to tell him he beat the old man.
Carter stares.
