Monday, March 4, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas fills Zende and RJ in about the killing, Hope reassures Finn it’s okay to grieve, and Deacon goes looking for answers.
Friday’s Early B&B recap: Finn ran out on Steffy and told Deacon Sheila is dead before winding up in Hope’s arms.
In Deacon’s apartment, Finn assumes Hope thinks he’s crazy for reacting the way he is.
She says he’s allowed to grieve the woman who gave him life.
She knows that everyone else knew her as the crazy criminal, but to him he was a mother.
“She’s dead and that’s because of Steffy,” he says.
The doctor paces and can’t stop thinking about the blood in his house.
This is overwhelming.
Hope says it will take time for them to get past this.
Finn doesn’t want to admit it but he doesn’t think he can be in that house.
He couldn’t even look at his wife or touch her.
He can’t get the image of his wife killing his mom out of his head.
Hope admits her feelings about all of this are complicated and she’s sure it’s worse for him.
She assures him he has every right to grieve but he should focus on the family being okay. Then everything will be alright.
“Will it though?” he asks.
She assures him his feelings are valid and she’ll be there for him with whatever he needs.
He thanks her for that but doesn’t know what he needs. He just wishes this had never happened.
Hope doubts he could have had a relationship with Sheila. He wasn’t hoping for one.
He laughs realizing that he got Sheila after years of wondering who his mother was.
Hope urges him to just focus on his beautiful family. He agrees and doesn’t know why he’s reacting this way.
The doctor knows he shouldn’t be thinking of Sheila’s blood but his and his wife’s.
Thanking her, he gives her a hug.
At Forrester Creations, Zende and RJ are shocked when Thomas breaks the news that Steffy killed Sheila.
Thomas explains that Steffy was by herself and is pretty broken up by all this. She never intended to kill Sheila.
They wonder if Steffy could be in trouble. Thomas says that Chief Baker has been asking questions but that’s normal.
They will do all they can to protect her.

At the cliff house, Ridge tells his daughter how sorry he is for what she’s gone through. He’ll always be there but her husband should be too.
She rehashes what happened. He understands. Everyone does.
“Even Finn?” she asks.
Deacon bursts in.
“Yo Deacon, whassup?” says Ridge.
“You killed Sheila?” he asks Steffy.
They are shocked that Finn told him about this. Steffy insists it was self-defense.
Deacon asks if this was premeditated and reminds her she threatened Sheila earlier. Steffy and Ridge repeat that Sheila came after her.
Ridge adds that Sheila got what she deserved and points at the blood.
Deacon walks over, looks at the stain, and gulps.
He says that he’s never seen anyone work so hard to better themselves.
Ridge asks if the woman who broke in an attacked his daughter was the better version of Sheila.
None of this makes sense to Sharpe. He asks if Steffy misinterpreted something.
Ridge says his daughter had a rough night and it’s time for him to go, not defend some idiot he thinks loved him.
Deacon says he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. What he and Sheila had was no lie.
“I loved her too,” he says.
Once he takes off, Ridge starts venting about him and his daughter worries Deacon could go to the police.
He’s sure it will all be fine. She hopes so and wishes her husband was there.
Finn returns.
He explains that he felt the need to go where Sheila lived and feel close to her.
This baffles Ridge, who tells him he needs to be with his wife and responsibilities before his daughter asks him to step out.
Once he’s gone, Steffy tells her husband that she hates that he’s upset. She can understand why but she’s upset too.
She took a life and never wanted to do that. “I’m so so sorry,” she tells him.
None of how he is reacting makes sense to him. It’s just horrible and surreal.
She needs to face this with him and can’t do it alone.
He promises that he is there with her and she tells him they can overcome any obstacle.
Hugging him, she thanks him for coming home and says she needs to feel close to him.
When she tries to kiss him, he can’t respond.
He repeats that he loves her and backs away. He wants to get back to their beautiful life but can’t stop staring at the bloodstain.
The doctor needs some time and starts babbling before declaring he can’t be there and running out the door.
Steffy starts to hyperventilate.
Hope goes to the design office and hugs Thomas. She fills him in on Finn breaking the news to Deacon.
He’s confused about Finn’s feelings for Sheila.
She hopes that her talk with him will help him move on. She tried to make him realize where he belongs right now.
