Tuesday, Jan 9, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy tells Thomas she’s on his side, RJ visits Eric, and Xander tells Finn what he’s pieced together about the night Emma died.
Monday’s Early B&B recap: Luna was surprised her mysterious dinner invitation was from Zende, and Finn still refuses to trust Thomas.
In Finn’s office, Xander insists he’s not making this up and Thomas is dangerous.
The doctor asks if he’s absolutely certain that Thomas is a murderer. Xander says there are no limits with the Forrester.
He has the creeps looking at all the pictures online of him getting closer to Hope.
They both worry about Hope but Finn isn’t trying to rush to judgment.
He needs exact details about what happened when Emma died.
Avant explains what he’s pieced together about Emma driving off to expose Thomas to Hope about baby Beth. Thomas drove after her and made sure she never got there.
He didn’t see any of it, but he’s sure that Thomas tailed her and drove her off the road. The police may have ruled it an accidental death but he knows better.
He saw the security footage of Thomas racing off and he checked his GPS, which placed him at the scene of the accident.
As much as the Forresters may not want to believe it, Thomas is a murderer and they need to put an end to him once and for all.
In the office at Forrester, Thomas asks Steffy to convince her husband not to listen to Xander. He didn’t kill Emma.
She doesn’t think he did and doesn’t want this dredged up either. She says Finn will drop it.
It hurts Thomas to know her husband thinks he might be a killer. She says that her husband only met Xander by chance.
Steffy repeats that they only met once and it will never happen again.
He doesn’t need Finn worrying about what he will do to Hope. He loves her and never wants to hurt her.
His sister told Finn he can no longer communicate with Xander and assures him that she’s on his side.
Steffy tells him to just keep doing what he’s doing and he goes on about how therapy has helped him turn his life around.
But her husband doesn’t believe that he’s reformed and refuses to show him any grace or understanding.
They agree that it’s important that the Emma topic is dropped.

RJ visits Eric at the hospital. He’s still healing and asks him not to make him laugh because of his stitches.
Eric hopes his sense of humor is still intact.
RJ is impressed by how he’s been progressing and will be in every day to check on him. They love each other.
After RJ gives him some juice, he says they need to keep him hydrated so he can get back on the martinis.
Eric asks how Luna is and his grandson says she’s good and asks about him all the time. They’re doing great.
“I knew it,” says Eric.
RJ tells him how perfect she is. She’s always asking how people are doing and being thoughtful. It’s nice having someone to count on.
“I’m lucky to have her, honestly,” he says with a laugh.
Eric urges him to hand onto her and RJ says he cherishes every second they have. Dealing with Eric’s sickness has shown him how important it was to have Luna in his corner.
In the Forrester salon, Luna is confused that Zende asked her to meet him there for dinner.
He explains that he sent the note and wasn’t trying to be sneaky. He adds that she looks beautiful and it’s not just the dress.
When he says he can’t take his eyes off her, she purses her lips.
She thinks this is all about him being competitive with RJ and he’s trying to use her to get back at him.
He swears that’s not the case and just wants to get to know her better. He asks her to dance.
“What am I going to do with you?” she asks. “I can think of a few things,” he suggests, insisting there’s nothing wrong with them having dinner.
She pulls at her gloves and he complains about RJ being the golden child. Luna says he’s not a “nepo baby” and they should be friends.
She likes him but she has to go.
When she reminds him she’s dating RJ, he says that means she’s technically single and urges her to hang out and enjoy what he has planned.
She appreciates all of this but can’t have dinner with him because of RJ.
“If I can’t have dinner with you, you can at least tell me who the better kisser is,” he says.
She points out they haven’t kissed.
When he leans in for a kiss, she turns her cheek.
She’s flattered. It’s nice having two Forresters interested in her.
This is all beyond her wildest dreams but she’s happy with RJ and loves him. He looks disappointed. She smiles awkwardly.
They talk about being in the chess club in high school and she hopes he will respect his feelings for RJ.
She’ll have to tell him about this. He says it was a pretty good cheek kiss.
Luna repeats that they are just friends and she doesn’t want him tricking her into a cheap kiss.
He thinks it’s too bad RJ met her first.
