Tues Oct 24 recap of B&B: Luna’s mom wants to talk to her, RJ resists telling his parents the truth, and Katie tells Eric how bad she feels for him.
Monday’s B&B recap: Katie discovered Eric is dying as he vowed to complete his collection even if it kills him.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke and Ridge tell RJ that they are worried about Eric’s behavior and his pushing the line. RJ says it’s silly to ask when it’s Eric company. This isn’t just a whim.
Ridge understands that so the question is why now. Brooke reminds him they are all family. If something is wrong, they need to know.
RJ admits there is something they need to know. He almost fills them in but then stops himself by just saying that Eric is making his grand finale. He needs to do this one last time.
They are still confused.
Ridge reminds him they all love each other and family comes first. His son doesn’t doubt it and hopes his dad and granddad never doubt his love.
Luna is working in the office when she gets a text from her mom, begging her to call. Luna flashes back to trying to quit but RJ stopping her with a kiss.
She paces and looks at a photo of Eric before flashing back to RJ telling her all about his granddad’s situation.
Carter interrupts and notices she seems distracted. Is everything okay?
She was just spacing out. He tells her how busy things get there and hopes this competition doesn’t cause too much friction.
RJ joins them and hypes up Eric’s designs. Carter has never seen him so motivated.
RJ is sure this collection will blow everything else he’s done out of the water. Carter believes it. He seems so amped and full of life.
After Carter leaves, RJ tells Luna how worried his father is about Eric. She thinks that’s amazing.
He says that caring is the tragic flaw of the Forresters. She thinks that’s a pretty good flaw.
Luna tells him what a good grandson he is to be helping Eric to bring his collection to life.
He still feels bad about keeping this secret from Ridge. She’s sure he will understand.
RJ isn’t so sure. He would be pissed if someone robbed him of precious time with his dad and thinks he deserves to know the truth.
They hug.
Meanwhile, Brooke worries to Ridge that this situation could affect his relationship with RJ. He won’t let that happen.
Carter comes in and they talk about the competition. Ridge is still determined to beat his father on the runway.
After Carter leaves, Ridge thinks this fashion challenge is unhealthy and she worries it could he harming his relationship with his son.
Ridge doesn’t think his dad is going anywhere.

Daily B&B spoilers into October
At Eric’s, Donna confirms to Katie that he is dying. When the doctor told them, all she could was stare. She can’t make any sense of it.
Katie is sure this is devastating so she gives her a hug.
Her sister explains that it started as tremors but they could handle that because RJ could help. That was the good thing that came out of this. It was magic until it wasn’t.
Eric’s pain became debilitating and he started coughing up blood. Now he only has six months to live…maybe less.
Donne cries and her sister holds her.
Donna has been missing having her sisters in on this but she can’t tell Brooke. It’s not what Eric would want.
Eric walks in and guesses Katie knows what’s happening. Sobbing, she throws her arms around him. She’s sorry he’s dying.
This is so unfair since he’s such a good guy.
He still doesn’t want her to tell anyone about this, especially Ridge and Brooke. She knows how fragile life is and he’s not listening to the doctors.
Reminding her of how she was told she couldn’t have Will, he says that all they can do is cherish every day.
Eric is determined to get the company back on track. Katie points out it’s doing well.
He’ll give HFTF credit, but Fashion Forward is just fast fashion and that’s not what Forrester is known for. It’s not classic couture, it’s just trendiness.
Ridge is just a fadist and he’s not taking care of his legacy.
Donna tells him this is about his well-being not the company. He sees no difference between the two things.
They urge him to back out as the doctor suggested while they tells Brooke he’s dying.
Gathering them together, Eric says this is his battle, his choice, and his company. He’s going to take his final bow his way.
