In the Monday May 3, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy’s family welcome her home, Kelly calls Liam over, and Hope vents to Brooke.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Steffy broke down with Liam, over missing Finn.
At Forrester, Quinn and Eric talk about Steffy’s homecoming. Quinn thinks it was bittersweet, knowing their family won’t be whole again. Eric calls it a senseless tragedy.
“I just hope they find the scumbag who did it.” She wonders if the memory is so traumatic that she’ll never regain it. Eric gets a text and looks distant.
Carter appears with documents for Eric to sign. He’s uncomfortable and offers to return later but they wave him in and tell him they were discussing Steffy’s homecoming.
She knows it won’t be easy for Steffy to get over the loss of Finn. As they talk about how much Liam still loves and cares for Steffy, Quinn ogles Carter.
Soon, Eric has something better to do and takes off, leaving the ex-lovers alone and Carter wondering if they’re okay.
She admits things haven’t been the same since their involvement. She takes responsibility, and says Eric’s moved past it. She hopes he can for her, too.
At some point, their marriage will get back into sync. Carter wants that for her. She wants happiness for him, too. They talk about this at length and about how she is glad she has a committed man.
From the cabin, Hope leaves a message for Liam. Brooke arrives and she tells her mother that Liam didn’t come home last night. Thomas arrives and learns that Liam spent the night at Steffy’s.
Thomas reminds Hope once again that Liam loves Steffy. Brooke shoots him the stink eye and Thomas plods on. “It’s how it is and who he is when it comes to Steffy.”
Brooke’s tired of him and asks, “What are you, a broken record?” Hope doesn’t need him to undermine her marriage. He’s not trying to. He’s just pointing out… Brooke interrupts and Hope stops the argument.
She knows they have a bond and she advocates that. But there’s another way of going about these things.

Liam sleeps on Steffy’s sofa with little Kelly on him. He wakes up and looks around. He grabs his phone and says, “Oh no. Hope.” Steffy walks up and says Kelly’s always been a daddy’s girl.
He whispers that she came out after she went to bed. Steffy’s grateful he spent the night. It meant a lot to the kids and to her. He wants to use his phone but it needs charging. He asks how she slept.
She’s grateful to be out of the hospital. The kid wakes up, glad her daddy’s still there. They hug and he says he’ll always be there for her and her mommy.
Kelly yawns, so her mom tells her that her dad will take her to bed.
Kelly wants him to stay, to be there when she wakes up. The parents shoot each other a look. Liam puts Kelly to bed and they know that she’s missing Finn but she hasn’t said much.
Steffy knows she’s used to him working long hours at the hospital. Liam offers to tell Kelly with her. Hope calls and he apologizes and explains Kelly wanted her daddy and how he fell asleep on the sofa.
Hope understands, but reminds him she has her parents there. Can he come home? He says he’s on it and they disconnect. Steffy hopes he’s not in trouble. He’s sure she understands. “Does she? Really?” Steffy asks.
In bed, Eric grabs a bottle of honey and kisses Donna.
