Tuesday, August 15 recap of B&B: Eric and Ridge tell Steffy she’s in the right place, Finn asks RJ for help, and Wyatt points out Liam is in a position to get what he wants.
Monday’s B&B recap: After Steffy refused to go home with Finn, he headed back alone as she flashed back on their lives.
At Eric’s, he and Ridge have some wine and Steffy joins them to talk about how much Donna loves having the kids there.
He says it’s their home for as long as they need. Her safety is the most important thing.
Eric can’t believe she doesn’t feel safe and secure with Finn.
They tell her she had no choice.
Taylor runs in to hug her daughter and tell her how sorry she was to hear about all that’s happened.
She wanted to come back to support her while she was hurting.
Steffy just wants to make the smart decisions for the children. The men tell her she made the right choice coming there. Taylor asks if she should go home and try to work things out with Finn.
Eric exits and Ridge insists the kids are where they need to be. Taylor isn’t sure her daughter has made the right choice. He insists the house is safe and the cliff house doesn’t have enough security.
She knows that Finn messed up badly, but he is still a devoted husband who loves her and only her.
As she and Ridge argue about this, Steffy flashes back to Finn begging her to stay.
Ridge tells Taylor that sending Steffy back to the cliff house wouldn’t be nice.
She insists that Finn and Steffy need to talk this out. Steffy asks her parents to stop arguing.
Ridge insists her mom is wrong and tells his daughter that Sheila could be at her house at any moment in the next hundred years.
She can’t go back to that.
Steffy thinks.
At the cliff house, Finn makes a work call. RJ shows up after being summoned.
They rehash what happened with Kelly and RJ asks why he asked to see him.
The doctor needs his help with Steffy.
This confuses RJ. He’s sorry about this. Finn tells him he takes responsibility for what happened and he misses his family more than anything.
But Steffy never would have moved out if it wasn’t for Liam.
Finn gets them some beers and explains. He fills him in on hugging Sheila.
RJ has to wrap his head around it.
The doctor explains that Liam followed him, recorded the hug, and then ran off to show it to Steffy.
Finn says it was just a hug, not sympathy, and Liam was being surreptitious.
RJ finds it hard to imagine Liam is sabotaging his marriage.
“I’m not going to let that little twerp get away with it,” Finn says.
Liam even told him that he loves her and wants her back. RJ is shocked.
The doctor explains that his life before Steffy was great, but meeting her made him realize that she was IT for him.
He would do anything for her and it breaks his heart that she doesn’t feel safe.
Rubbing his eyes and choking up, he says he’s begged her to come home but she says she can’t do that. He knows that Liam is part of that.
He almost lost Steffy once and there’s no way he will let Liam make a play for his life.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
At Spencer Publication, Liam and Wyatt finish off a contract and laugh about how happy it will make their dad.
Wyatt adds that Bill was also happy to have Liam tell him all the latest news.
Liam says he’s proud of Steffy walking out on Finn.
His brother assumes he still wants a shot at her. He’s proud that he’s able to admit that leaving her was the biggest mistake of his life. Now he could rectify that.
Wyatt doesn’t want to take the blame for Liam taking a battering ram to Steffy’s marriage, but this is all aligning perfectly with what he wants.
Grudgingly, Liam admits he’s right and told both Steffy and Finn this.
He also admits he shouldn’t have kissed Steffy and claims he doesn’t want to interfere in someone else’s marriage.
Wyatt points out that the kisses were before the Sheila mess.
His brother says she can’t stay with Finn. He’s too dangerous.
Smiling, Liam says he only has one life to live and wants to live it with Steffy and his daughter.
