Monday, August 14, Y&R day ahead recap: Tucker puts a stop to the war that breaks out at the wedding, Traci’s angry with Jack, Nikki and Victor ream Adam out for blackmailing Audra and Diane warns Kyle about Audra.
Friday’s Y&R day ahead: Ashley and Tucker Marry, Jack’s Gift Makes Ashley Wary, and Kyle Finds a Way to Save Audra’s Reputation

At the ranch, Audra tattles on Adam about the blackmail details, leaving out what the coverup was for.
Either she makes the merger happen, or Adam can destroy her. Nikki says, “And there it is.”
She asks where Nate fits in. Audra says he was trying to help her out of a bad situation.
She’s only dug herself in deeper and should have called them about this immediately.
She values Newman Media and her position.
At GCAC lounge, Victoria says Audra meet with her mother to discuss a merger just like he did.
Nate plays innocent and she tells him she sees right through him.
She wouldn’t give up her top spot at Newman Media so easily.
She asks what he and Audra are up to. He lies that she got caught up in his excitement over the possibilities.
Victoria’s not buying it. She’s already an exec.
He claims not to know and she pushes him to be honest.
She hopes they’d never play games. He comes clean that Adam’s blackmailing Audra to make the merger happen.
Victoria laughs bitterly. Nate claims he helped Audra to protect Newman.
If he went public, it’d make the company and Audra look bad. He dropped it though because she told him no.
Victoria calls it classic Adam. She admires that Audra cared about the company.
Nate defends her and says she didn’t cover up the rape, just the PR team.
After the guy was caught.
Adam gets a call from Victor as he’s working from home. Victor tells him to get to the ranch.
He disconnects, looking pissed. On his way out, he runs into Sally who has a housewarming gift for him.
She likes his “down to earth” abode. So does he. She heard from Nick who is flying back in the morning.
Adam’s glad to hear and assume they’re looking forward to being together.
She giggles. He lets her know he has a meeting with “his majesty.” She will join him.
She wants to accept his offer to head up his new design company.
Adam asks her to wait. He’s in a mood. Adam asks her to stay there, and order some dinner.
It’s not a ploy.
She agrees she’s tired of the room service menu.
He has something to talk to her about when he comes home.
He leaves and she starts unpacking his books and finds photos of them stuck inside one.
She flips through them and sighs.
At the Chancellor mansion, Ashley asks Jack what the strings are that are attached to his gift.
He says nothing.
“So I just separate from the company and that’s it?” He says yes, it’s a generous gesture that he hopes will end the war between them.
Tucker thanks him, hopeful they can get back to their wedding.
He’s tired of this Jabot crap and wants to spend their night together as husband and wife.
Kyle takes off and Diane follows and asks him to stay. He’s sorry he even came into this mess.
Diane begs. It’s family.
She thinks he’s drowning himself in a meaningless affair and thinks he’ll regret it.
He says, “Not tonight, mom,” and goes.
Ashley decides to thank Jack and thanks Diane and Jack for coming, though she knows they didn’t want to.
Diane congratulates her on her life and business. “Trust me, your father’s company will be in good hands,” Diane says with a grin.
“Are you kidding?” Billy snarks. Jack lashes out back and they fake argue.
“Stop gaslighting my sister you sanctimonious ass,” Billy yells, before Tucker tells everyone to shut up or take it elsewhere.

He apologizes to Abby and Devon. Traci and Devon remind everyone they promised a truce.
Jack and Diane apologize and leave. Abby rolls her eyes and Tucker calls it the wedding of the century.
Ashley’s apologetic to Billy who says he has thick skin.
He kisses the bride and shakes the groom’s hand and leaves with Chelsea.
Back at the ranch, Victor wants to hear what she was covering up.
She tells him about the statutory rape. “Oh dear God,” Nikki says.
Audra tells them the singer was arrested and Tucker had no idea until after what was going on.
He fired everyone who participated in the cover up. “Good, so what’s the problem?” Nikki asks.
Audra explains her part in the cover up. She apologizes for being deceitful to Nikki.
She felt trapped and frightened. She promises nothing like this will happen again.
Victor agrees. It won’t. Adam appears and his father asks if he thought he was going to get away with it.
Adam doesn’t lie about what he did but calls Audra a coward.
Audra merely looked for an alternate solution. “Enough!” Victor barks. He thanks Audra and she goes and texts Kyle to get to her room in 20 minutes. Inside, Victor snaps at Adam for defying him.
Adam tells his dad not to take it personally but it is personal to him.
They argue about him hiring Nick to look over him.
Nikki says she begged his father to stop thinking he’ll change because he keeps proving her right.
Victor tells him to eliminate what he’s holding over Audra. “Anything else?”
Adam asks. Victor can’t handle his constant defiance anymore. “Then don’t,” Adam says.
Victor starts yelling that he should fire him but he won’t. He can’t! He points his finger as he bellows.
He just financed a lot of capital from Europe to finance his company.
Adam looks chastised.
He goes and Nikki asks how much longer he’ll put up with him.
Victor thinks he got through to him but Nikki doubts it. It breaks her heart to see him so angry.
When it comes to Adam, enough is never enough. Victor holds his wife, looking devastated.
Audra arrives at GCAC and runs into Victoria who says they need a meeting first thing in the morning.
Audra glances at Nate who admits he’s done keeping secrets.
She’s glad because she came clean with Victor and Nikki.
Audra promises the thread and Adam were neutralized. Victoria looks smug.
Traci arrives home to Diane and Jack gripping about Ashley not accepting his gift.
“Really Jack? Our sister had every right to want to reject your gift.” Jack says the gift came from the heart.
Diane says she wanted it. Traci says of course she’d think there was an agenda and asks what the hell they’re up to.
Whatever it is, they’re about to rip the family apart again.
Adam arrives home to Sally, surprised she’s still there. He doesn’t want to talk about his father and thanks her for unpacking his boxes. She was bored.
She shows them to him and asks why he has them.
He wanted to remind himself that once, he was happy.
He didn’t want to forget what that felt like.
Kyle arrives at Audras after she gets home and when she calls him a genius, he grins and tells her, “Let’s not talk it to death.”
They make out.
At Crimson Lights, Chelsea knows that tonight was a performance because of their scheme.
It made her shudder to see it.
He hopes Ashley and Tucker bought the act. It’s all it was, he assures.
They embrace.
In their room at GCAC, Tucker and Ashley listen to romantic music and drink to themselves.
He wants to dance. He loves her and she tells him she can’t believe she’s saying so but she loves him too.
They kiss and embrace.
