In the Friday, January 6, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Katie and Carter look forward to the future, Taylor returns optimistic, and Steffy and Finn continue to be baffled by Bill.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Steffy and Finn thought Bill lost it, Sheila laughed in Li’s face, and Katie thought Bill was a hero.
Finn holds Steffy in the cliff house. He promises to hold her until this whole nightmare is over.
She worries that Sheila could be in their lives forever.
Finn wonders if Bill would really fight to get Sheila free.
Steffy still can’t understand why Bill has turned to Sheila of all women.
It’s frightening that he has a “sick crush on a psychopath.”
Taylor shows up, thrilled that Sheila is behind bars and wanting to throw a party.
She even screamed YES when she got a text about it in the middle of a medical conference.
The shrink can’t believe their family is safe again thanks to Bill. She’s so optimistic about the future.
Everything is great. She’s even friends with “Brooke freakin’ Logan” and this will be her best year.
Chief Baker shows up and joins them in the happiness about Sheila’s capture. He needs to review their statements to make sure everything is ready for trial.
As Taylor says that Steffy and Finn will do everything necessary to keep Sheila behind bars, they flash back to Bill threatening to send Taylor to prison if they say anything.
Taylor says everyone will do all they can to keep Sheila locked up. That’s what the cop wanted to hear.
He exits.
Steffy says she’s sick of discussing Sheila and suggests they focus on the joy around them instead.
Choking up, Steffy tells her how proud she is of her and how much she deserves a bright future. She’ll do all she can to make this a good year for her.
They hug. Steffy looks panicked.
At the prison, Bill asks Sheila if what they have is real. He’s felt like this before only to be let down. He won’t be used.
She claims she is wrapping herself in his strong arms and not wanting to let go. Connecting to someone like she’s never been connected before.
She thought he felt the same way and was enjoying every minute of it.
Sheila wants him to take her home. She’s sure that given the way things have worked between them for the past few weeks, it can work.
The night she followed him home from Il Giardino, she knew it would be an adventure. She didn’t expect him to go and sit on the beach alone.
They talked until the sun came up. He could have easily turned her in but he didn’t.
There was something about the loneliness in her eyes that got to him. They connected in a way he never connected to anyone.
“My God, what does that say about me?” he wonders.
She tells him it means he’s tired of pretending and wasting his time with good girls who wanted to change him.
She doesn’t think there is anything wrong with him.
He explains that Steffy came looking for answers and he’s not sure he has them.
Katie called him a hero.
Sheila says he is her hero.
Bill knows that if they pull off what they are doing, everyone else in his life will walk away from him. It needs to be real.
Sheila claims she has more than shown him how she feels. She thinks he’s questioning her because of what those “bitch Logans” have put him through.
The Logans could never appreciate him the way she does. They have a connection she’s been looking for her whole life.
Bill didn’t think the person he needed existed.
She promises to be a powerful force behind him. There is nothing they can’t do.
“I am so ready to love you the way you need,” she says.
He wants to believe that. She promises this is the truth.

Katie catches Carter changing in the office at Forrester again. She uses the opportunity to kiss him.
He notices she’s in a good mood and assumes her meeting with Bill went well.
She’s surprised he’s bringing up Bill while she’s in his arms. She can’t get over what a hero Bill is.
They sit down and she wonders about why Bill seemed so surprised and vulnerable about everything. It’s a side of her she’s rarely seen.
Carter says they all owe him their gratitude and can now focus on better things.
“Much better things,” she coos.
He says that her gorgeous smile is the best part of Sheila being arrested. She feels like a weight has been lifted and now they can concentrate on the future.
They kiss.
