In the Thursday, June 1, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Katie and Carter wonder if her sister and Ridge will reunite, Ridge tells Brooke how much he’s missed her, and Taylor prods Deacon to try with Brooke again.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Taylor and Brooke traded barbs, Eric pushed Ridge toward Brooke, while Taylor wanted Deacon to reunite with Brooke to stop the cycle.
As they sit at Il Giardino, Deacon tells Taylor he’s loved Brooke since the moment he saw her. He’s told her that again and again and it only hurts him.
She keeps pushing him to have a future with Brook so they can have a family and he can break them all out of the “toxic cycle” they are trapped in.
He sighs. She tells him life is short and he won’t know if he has a shot unless he tries.
When he asks about “destiny,” she screws up her face. She’s sick of that word. So is he.
The doctor repeats he could break the vicious cycle and he still wonders if this is her way of getting back with Ridge. She won’t deny her feelings for him but she’s trying to push them away.
Taylor says he’s spent a lot of his life being the villain. Now he has the chance to be a hero. “Do it!” she begs.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke shows Ridge how to like posts online and leave comments. She tells him how good it feels to have their family back together again.
They’re both beaming.
He tells her how hard it was to be away from her. He respects the pact she made with Taylor but really misses her. His time in the “penalty box” hasn’t been easy.
She reminds him she’s been at war with Taylor for years. She almost thought it would happen again but they avoided it. They weren’t fighting about him, but the children.
Stroking his lapels, she tells him she intends to keep her pact but misses him.

Carter and Katie make out in his office. They talk about the planned trip to Rome. She points out it’s one of the most romantic cities in the world and that could be big for Brooke and Ridge.
He admits that stranger things have happened. Katie likes her sister’s new independent side but doesn’t see why she should say no to romance.
When he makes a call in Italian, she says this makes him even sexier and suggests he use his phrases later to get some brownie points.
She gushes about how much she loves Rome and how great it could be for her sister’s romantic life. Carter thinks a reunion with Ridge would be epic, but they’d have to come back to LA and Taylor would have something to say about it.
Taylor drops by the office to see Ridge. He tells her that her BFF has gone to Il Giardino to talk to Deacon after he called her.
Ridge assumes that’s about Hope. What else could it be? She says it could be about a number of things.
Ridge is bewildered and says that Deacon’s relationship with Brooke was not her finest hour.
Taylor tells Ridge that he’s always been an important part of her life and they share a lot of beautiful memories.
At Il Giardino, Deacon flashes back to trying to seduce Brooke. She shows up.
He gets her some ice tea and babbles about Hope and all her accomplishments. It’s hard to believe she came from them.
Deacon explains he’s asked her there because of what they shared once. She guesses he wants to take a trip down memory lane.
He’s sorry for ever hurting her and the person he was all those years ago. He thinks that she came into his life to inspire him to be a better man. She’s had a huge influence on his life.
She and their daughter are the most important women in his life. Brooke’s not sure where this is going.
He knows about the pact, but it doesn’t mean she’s sworn off all men. Could this be their time? The best choice he can think of is being with her. Is there a chance for them to be a family for Hope and their grandchildren? He still loves her and asks her to come back to him.
