In the Monday, June 5, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful,
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where RJ talked to Hope about why he’s in LA, Deacon admitted Taylor encouraged him to ask Brooke out and Taylor angled for a free trip to Italy from Ridge before Brooke confronted her over her machinations.
In the CEO office of Forrester Creations, Taylor’s shocked as Brooke calls her a backstabbing traitor. She repeats, “Backstabbing traitor?”
Brooke says she’s been pretending she wanted to be friends this whole time.
“I did,” Taylor says but Brooke thinks she was biding her time until she could stab her in the back.
Tears stream down her face as she leans in and bellows, “Setting me up with Deacon so that you, you could be with Ridge.”
Taylor tries to explain and Brooke shuts her down. She thought they were on a new path to show their kids that rivalries can be overcome.
She was wrong. Taylor snorts and smirks and Brooke repeats that she was biding her time to get Ridge back.
Taylor cries and says she’s been so honest and transparent, right?”
She only pointed out that she and Deacon shared a history.
Brooke scoffs and lashes out, saying that Taylor went to Ridge behind her back and tried to win him back and set her up with Deacon to clear her way with Ridge.
Taylor asks if she can get a word in edgewise. She did it because she was trying to help. “Me, you or Deacon?” Brooke asks.
Taylor says she misunderstood what she said to Deacon. Brooke thinks her intentions were clear. Taylor values Broke and their friendship. Brooke laughs and calls it funny.
Taylor grips that she’d never intentionally hurt it but she felt hurt and ruffled when Brooke didn’t tell her about her concerns for Hope and made Thomas the villain in her story.
Brooke’s confused. This has nothing to do with Ridge. Taylor goes on to say that if Brooke’s not being honest about this, what else is she being dishonest about?
“That has everything to do with Ridge.” Brooke calls this crazy. She went to Hollis and then Deacon to date her.
Brooke feels foolish and taken advantage of. She never thought her BFF would do this. Taylor says that’s not how it happened.
Brooke cries that she’s been hurt before but it didn’t feel like this. “I thought that we had a pact,” she says.
Taylor grabs at her head and listens as Brooke screams that she “never thought you’d take our friendship and toss it aside like garbage.”
Taylor smirks as if in disbelief. When Brooke pressures her she asks her to admit she wants Ridge to herself. Taylor admits it’s true.
She does want him and thinks they deserve each other. She doesn’t think that Brooke is good for Ridge and says she never has been.
Brooke can’t believe they’re back where they started. Taylor says she has a chance at a life with someone else. Brooke asks who, Hollis?
Taylor says that was fun but she has a past with Deacon. Brooke snipes that she doesn’t need a dating service.
Taylor says she was trying to be a friend. “You broke our pact,” Brooke says. She destroyed their friendship because she wants Ridge.
Taylor smiles and shakes her head as Brooke looks her up and down with a sneer.
They go back in time to when Taylor almost married Ridge, knowing that Thomas ruined her marriage over something she never did.
Besides, she knows what Taylor thinks of her and her daughter. “We’re just sluts from the valley.”
Taylor says those were Steffy’s words and Ridge deserves someone who won’t upset his life on repeat.
She throws Brooke’s affair with Deacon, her daughter’s husband and calls it disgusting.
Brooke goes back to the pact and how Taylor stabbed her in the back. She repeats that Taylor wanted Ridge back.
She plans on going to Ridge to tell him everything. She moves to leave and Taylor grabs her arm and tells her not to.
Brooke tries to brush her off and she grabs her again. Brooke shoves her and they get physical until Ridge storms into the room and pulls Brooke off of Taylor.
He asks what’s going on and Taylor says she’s being dramatic. Brooke tells Tay that the pact is over.

At Il Giardino, Hollis tells Deacon that they’re down a waiter.
What should he do?
Deacon’s not really paying attention and says he thinks he started something.
He asked Brooke to reunite and she shot him down. “Join the club,” Hollis says.
They should get T-shirts made. Deacon never should have listened to Taylor. He explains what happened, that he was being charismatic with Brooke and Taylor was watching.
Later, she encouraged him to go for Brooke. He knew what she was doing and after a bit, decided to go with it.
Holis is surprised he bothered and wonders what got into Taylor, why she pushed him to date her and then Deacon. Deacon says she wants Ridge all to herself.
Deacon assumes Brooke and Taylor’s marriage is about to blow up.
In the design room of Forrester Creations, Eric asks Ridge how things are going between Brooke and Taylor.
Eric loves his son staying at his house but he thinks it’s time for him to move on.
Ridge reminds his father they just had this conversation ten seconds ago.
Eric knows but asks if anything has changed. Ridge flashes to Tayalor missing waking up in his arms and missing him.
“Actually,” Ridge says, one of them told him how she feels.
Eric’s happy. “Brooke!” Ridge says it was Taylor, who misses him and wants to go to Rome with him.
“So she wants you back,” Eric says. Ridge shrugs with a smile.
Eric calls Brooke the love of her life. Ridge is ready to leave and Eric complains that everyone’s in his office all the time so he’s staying there.
“If I ever catch Charlie in my desk I’ll shoot him with his own water pistol.” Ridge laughs.
He calls his dad Forrester Creations and they all respect him.
Eric’s grateful and proud of his son.
