Tuesday, August 1 recap of B&B: Liam repeats to Steffy that he needs to protect her and Kelly, Deacon is amazed by what Sheila did. and Kelly tells her mom Sheila saved her.
On the beach, Finn thanks Sheila for saving Kelly’s life. “Mom, thank you so much,” he says.
Sheila says she doesn’t have to thank her.
He says he’s more grateful than she will ever know but she needs to keep her distance.
Sheila tells Kelly to be careful near the water next time and walks off.
At the cliff house, Steffy has been trying to get in touch with Finn but the call isn’t getting through.
Liam is disappointed. He wanted to take Kelly to Venice for the day.
Normally it would be fine, but he’s worried after seeing Finn with Sheila. He’s not sure he can trust his judgment.
Steffy shakes her head. They talk about how shocking it is that Sheila is free after all Bill’s hard work.
Their back to where they were before. Steffy can’t talk about Sheila anymore.
Liam keeps talking about Sheila and worrying about Kelly’s safety.
She promises she will do all she can to keep her children safe.
He trusts her. He’s just worried about Finn. She’s confident her husband wants to protect Kelly too.
Liam still has issues with this. He loves Kelly and her mother and protecting them is his priority. His phone starts buzzing but it’s just work so he doesn’t answer.
He goes back to talking about what a murderous psychopath.
Steffy repeats that Finn has only ever been loyal and loving to her. No matter how much she hated him hugging his mom, she still thinks he will protect them.
Liam recalls the day Kelly was born and how nothing prepared them for that moment.
He realized he had to do all he could to make sure she was happy and safe. Her and her mother. His gut is telling him Finn is vulnerable to Sheila.
When his phone buzzes again, she tells him to take care of business and that she will let him know when Kelly gets home safely.
Before he can leave, she repeats that she trusts her husband but she appreciates that he’s so concerned.
Once he’s gone, Finn and Kelly arrive and the little girl tells her she almost drowned.
Steffy is horrified.
Kelly explains that she got pulled into the water but Finn’s mom saved her.
“Not Li, Sheila,” Kelly adds.
Finn has to explain in detail what happened on the beach.
His wife is shocked that he turned his back even for a minute.
He explains that he rushed in to get Kelly and that’s when he saw Sheila.
Steffy is furious and demands to know what Sheila was doing there.
“Thank God she was. She saved her life. My mother saved Kelly’s life,” he says.
Steffy can hardly breathe.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
In his apartment, Deacon does the books and thinks about Sheila telling him of her plans to get back into her son’s life.
“It’ll take a miracle to make that happen,” he sighs.
Sheila starts banging on the door. He tells himself not to answer but does.
She busts in and tells him that she saved Kelly’s life.
After she wraps herself in a blanket, she tells him about following Finn and Kelly to the beach and how the little girl was swept in by the water when Finn was taking a call.
“You saved Steffy’s daughter’s life!” Deacon points out.
She says the important thing is that Kelly is safe. He thinks she may have pulled off the impossible today.
She lets out a little laugh.
Liam goes to work at Spencer Publications and flashes back to the conversation he just had with Steffy.
Wyatt shows up, wondering why he’s there when he’s supposed to have the day off.
They talk about his conversation with Steffy about Finn hugging his mom.
Wyatt is sure that Steffy must have been outraged and refused to stand for that.
