Tuesday, August 1 GH recap: TJ and Molly agree to look for a surrogate, Anna and Dante wonder if the WSB is after her, and Alexis warns Gregory that Tracy knows he’s sick.
Monday’s GH recap: Cyrus had a heart attack as Drew tries to save his life, Tracy called Alexis about Gregory’s health, and Anna warned Sonny.
On the terrace of the Metro Court, Anna warns Sonny he doesn’t want anything to do with Pikeman. “Too late,” he says. Dante interrupts and brings up the dead body Dex found.
Dante can hardly stop laughing as his father tells him why his enforcer bothered calling the cops. Kristina rushes in invites herself and her brother to sit with the others.
“Have you two figured out how you almost got shot?” Kristina asks them.
She has to leave to freshen up before getting an answer.
Dante asks if they’ve learned anything new about the shooting. They haven’t.
Anna says that there could be more to it than Victor’s revenge.
Sonny suspects the WSB could be after her.
That makes sense to the cop.
They go over how this could have played out.
In the bathroom, Kristina tells Trish what a great hostess she is. As they chat, Trish asks if she will still be able to work at Charlie’s after she opens her youth center.
Trish tells her that Nina is always bragging about her.
She and Sonny are really proud of her and all the lives she can save.
She tells Kristina that her brother Teddy was thrown out of the house for being gay at 15. He ran off to the city and lived on the streets.
Trish thanks her for all the Teddys of the world and wishes her luck.
When Kristina returns to the others, Sonny takes his daughter aside.
He insists on buying her a new car because her old one is unreliable. She refuses and says he’s done enough.
They talk about Nina bragging about her. Kristina feels like she can change the world, but she has doubts. He says she can move through those.
Dante asks Anna if she’s sill thinking of being the bait. She’s not so sure but says she can take care of herself. He doubts that if the WSB are after her.
If she’s being targeted, the next attack will be completely different. It might be months or a year until it happens again. a bodyguard can’t protect her. If anything changes, he’ll be her first call.
Avery is surprised when Ava shows up at Carly’s. She’s supposed to be having a sleepover. Ava claims she just wanted to see her little girl.
Avery runs off with some cookies to watch a movie with Donna. Carly asks if she’s frazzled because of Avery’s new nanny.
Ava tries to leave but Carly prods her and demands information about Betty.
“This is really none of your business,” says the Jerome.
Carly assumes she’s up to her old tricks. When Ava threatens to take her daughter and leave, Carly threatens to tattle to Sonny.
Avery returns for more cookies. Ava asks her for a big hug and tells her how much she loves her.
When the little girl walks off, Carly tells Ava she hopes she knows what she’s doing.
Gregory shows up at Alexis’ office.
He assumes they have news work to do but this is actually about someone else knowing he’s sick. When she brings up Tracy, he explains they had dinner.
Alexis says she called and asked if there is anything wrong with him after seeing his hand freeze.
She covered for him. He thanks her, knowing that wasn’t easy.
No matter how hard he tries to hide this, his body is already betraying him.
He admits his symptoms are getting more severe. It may only be weeks until his sons realize he has ALS.
Once they know, all they will see is his disease and wonder when he will die.
He wants to enjoy what little time he has last. The end will be terrible and he wants to savor life while he still can.
He promises to tell his sons soon but is determined to enjoy a normal life for now and is grateful for her friendship.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
TJ arrives at home with wine for Molly. They talk about her day and she shows him her stuffed animal. He’s amazed to learn Kristina brought it.
He can tell the visit brightened her day.
She says it was nice to hang out and talk about old times. He assumes she was thinking about surrogacy.
Molly has been considering a few things and they need to talk about them to stay on the same page.
When she asks if he wants to be a father, he says he does. He adds he’d love their child regardless of their DNA. With some prodding, he admits he’d prefer it.
They’re both ready for this now. The sooner the better. They kiss.
She says they need to find a surrogate. “Will it be Kristina?” he asks.
Molly doesn’t want to ask her sister.
She doubts she understands what would be involved. He’s relieved to hear that and has already done research on what they need to do next.
Molly feels hopeful and they tell the stuffed animal they are having a baby.
At Pentonville, Cyrus loses consciousness and imagines he’s in a cell in Hell. Laura pops up and tells him this is where he deserves to be for eternity. He’s sure he’s hallucinating but she says he’s dying. “I am not done!” he insists.
She tells him there are things he can’t control, no matter how ruthless he may be. Laura lectures him about the choice he made and how they are the things that have imprisoned him.
He says he tried to get better for her.
He wanted to love her. She thinks he kept throwing away the opportunity.
They discuss their mistakes. He thinks they are so much alike and if she could recognize that, he wouldn’t feel so alone and would have someone he could take care of.
She says he manipulated her and that ended with him taking her hostage. He insists he never would have hurt her.
His sister tells him his pride and anger caused all of this.
As she gives him a hug, she tells him hurting people lashing out…but nothing like he’s capable of.
He admits that he thought he was going to die and was going to take her with him but he couldn’t do it and let the police stop him.
She thanks him for giving them both the chance to do better. He doesn’t think she needs to do better and no one can redeem him. Laura asks if he really wants to save himself.
Drew starts CPR and asks a guard to fetch a defibrillator. That’s hard because there’s a lockdown and no one can get through to the library.
Cyrus revives.
Paramedics take him off to GH. Drew is startled when the guard reminds him he still has to go to solitary for fighting.
