In the Thursday, January 5, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy tells Finn that Bill isn’t backing down, Li tries goading Sheila, and Katie has questions for Bill.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Mike visited Sheila in jail and she was confident she would be released soon, Steffy was rocked by Bill’s reveal, and Li taunted Sheila.
Li stops by the prison to see Sheila in the cage where she belongs.
Sheila complains the joint doesn’t have an omelette station.
But it will only be for a few days.
Li vows to spend the rest of her life loving Finn and Hayes while Sheila is stuck behind bars.
Sheila keeps smiling. Li thinks she’s delusional and knows she can be scared.
Sheila doesn’t look scared. Her smile gets bigger.
Pacing, Li continues to gloat about saving Finn and lecture her for inflicting pain on people.
She’s confident that Sheila will pay for her crimes and that all their trauma will be healed.
Sheila totally agrees with her that people get exactly what they deserve. She accuses her of confusing justice and retribution.
Li smugly says she will pay for her crimes and that she will never be part of Finn and Hayes’ lives.
Annoyed, Sheila thanks her for stopping by and asks her to tell Finn and Steffy they will all be together soon.
She bursts out laughing as Li leaves.
Steffy heads back to the cliff house and tells Finn that she couldn’t bring Bill to his senses.
Bill wants her out as soon as possible. Turning her in was just a way of setting her free.
If they go after her, Taylor will wind up in prison too.
She complains about Bill and his emptiness. She thinks he’s lost his mind and they are all paying the price for it.
He calls the nanny to check on the kids.
Steffy wishes she could understand what Bill is doing. He’s usually so obvious.
They try to understand Bill having complicated feelings and are sure he must just be insane.
“We’re in trouble if he has real feelings for her,” she says.
They keep trying to understand and rehash how they are good people and Sheila is bad.
Now her mom could end up in prison because Bill is lonely. Finn thinks Bill putting them all at risk is terrible.
Steffy repeats that this is insane.

B&B opinion: Bill’s mystery illness
At Bill’s, he thinks about his promise to get Sheila out and her reminder of what his sword necklace means before their bloody kiss.
Katie clambers in, still in disbelief that Sheila has finally been caught and it’s all because of him.
She asks how all this happened. He shrugs and mumbles a vague response.
She thinks that’s incredible but still doesn’t understand why Sheila showed up there.
Katie doesn’t wait for an explanation and just hopes they can all put Sheila behind them.
She admits that she cares about him and the idea of Sheila hurting him in any way is unthinkable. She knows they’ve been out of touch, but they will always be connected.
Katie is grateful they will never have to worry about that awful woman again.
“You’re a hero,” she tells him.
Bill half smiles and gulps.
Repeating that he’s a hero, she tells him he can take off his sword. He’s not that guy anymore. Their greatest threat is behind bars and he doesn’t need to protect anyone.
Bill heads to the prison to visit Sheila. He pays the guards to give them some privacy.
He had to make sure she was okay. She is now.
He assures her that everyone thinks he’s there to furiously confront her.
She’s hanging in and waiting for him to get her out.
He says that the past few weeks have been surreal and he’s working on everything to get her released.
Bill asks if she’s sure she wants whatever it is between them. Is it real?
She smiles.
