In the Wednesday, October 19, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Liam continue comforting Brooke, Sheila reminds Deacon of what she brings to his life, and Steffy and Thomas share their happy news.
We also have Tuesday’s B&B recap where Liam and Brooke kept a secret from Hope, Thomas berated himself for fantasizing, and Carter flirted with Katie.
At Forrester Creations, most of the company gathers in the office. Steffy and Thomas announce that their parents have reunited. Katie is shocked.
Paris thinks this is crazy. Carter is confused. Steffy explains her father did some soul searching before making the choice he should have made all along.
Brooke’s sisters sneer. Paris finds all this unthinkable. Katie is baffled. Taylor’s kids say Brooke blew it.
Eric announces there is some other news. He prompts Carter to tell them and explains Quinn texted him to say she was leaving the company.
“Quinn left me too,” Carter says, looking at his feet. Paris visibly bites her tongue. Carter apologizes for what he and Quinn did to her.
Carter thinks they should move on from his lovelife hijacking this meeting. Steffy admits she was no fan no Quinn but her line made money.
She wants to get back to celebrating her parents reuniting.
Thomas sits in his office and recalls making the call to CPS using the voice app.
At Brooke’s, Hope and Liam sit awkwardly while Brooke stares and tries to make sense of things. She wonders why Ridge suddenly left her for Taylor.
Her daughter points out this could have had something to do with Douglas’ custody. Brooke insists she’s not responsible for her marriage ending.
When she starts worrying about Thomas, Hope defends him and says he’s changed. Liam backs up Brooke. Hope is tired of discussing this.
Brooke repeats she doesn’t know why Ridge left her. She dismisses Liam’s concerns that it could be about Bill. Ridge hasn’t asked for a divorce but she’s assuming he spent the night with Taylor.
They love her and hug her. Brooke paces and tries to figure things out. “I don’t get it!” she weeps. Hope hugs her some more.
Left alone, Brooke looks at Ridge’s photo and keeps asking why.
Hope stomps into Steffy’s office and announces she knows how she and her mother operate. She accuses her of plotting to steal Ridge away.
Steffy says her mom has too much integrity to plot something like that. Hope finds that hard to swallow and suggests Steffy helped her mom do this in the most underhanded way possible.
Hope is determined to do her damnedest to stop them from destroying Brooke’s marriage.

B&B opinion: Predictable writing for Thomas
At Deacon’s, Sheila prevents him from putting his shirt on so they can make out.
He starts praying and then tells Sheila God needs him to lay down some ground rules with her.
If she gets caught, he had nothing to do with her.
If she is going to stay there, she needs to stay rather than run around town.
Sheila finds all these orders sexy. His dump is paradise compared to a prison cell.
“I’ll do anything to keep creating paradise for you daddy,” she says.
They make out.
She tells him he’s been having the best sex of his life and promises to get him a motorcycle.
Bill pounds on the door and orders the “convict” to open up.
Sheila runs into the bathroom.
Spencer barges in. Being there makes him want to puke but he has news. Ridge and Taylor have reunited. He wants it to be clear to Deacon that he has no chance with Brooke.
Neither of them are surprised by this. Bill says it’s obvious that Ridge always lets Brooke down.
He gives Deacon credit for bringing trouble into her life. This is his turf now.
Ridge’s loss is his gain and Deacon needs to stay away from Brooke. Bill is confident she will come to him.
Deacon warns that treating her as a piece of property only shows he doesn’t know her at all.
Bill says she needs a man who will make her happy and that won’t be a conman like Deacon.
He’s determined to help Brooke recover when he takes her to his yacht.
Deacon says Brooke goes where her heart leads her, not her wallet.
Bill tells him he’s out of his league on every level.
Deacon can see it bothers him that he and Brooke share a child. When he asks him to go, Bill says it stinks in there.
Heading for the door, he throws a wad of cash in his face to remind him he’s Dollar Bill Spencer.
Grabbing a bill, Deacon sees he has his face on the cash and laughs.
Once Bill is gone, Sheila emerges and Deacon confirms that Ridge has left Brooke.
