General Hospital recap for Wednesday, June 7, 2023. In today’s GH episode, Valentin tells Sonny about the next shipment, Carly continues refusing to turn on Sonny, and Olivia is determined to find out who went to the Feds.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Kevin offered to go to Chechnya with Laura to find Nikolas while Jordan and Zeke got sexy and Portia had advice for Esme.
Portia corners Liz at General Hospital and begs her to come out for a drink. Liz is exhausted from helping Bobbie all day. She’s been pulling double duty filling in for Epiphany.
Finn and Terry approach. The board just briefed them on the nurse’s future. The subject of Epiphany suggesting she become head nurse came up.
“It was a no-brainer,” says Terry. The board voted to make her head nurse. Liz is thrilled and gets hugs.
Monica wanted to extend the offer but she had important business. Liz can’t wrap her head around this and couldn’t have done this without them.
They are grateful to have played a part in it. She can start next week, once she’s done the paperwork.
Terry urges Portia and Finn to apply to fill Britt’s position. Portia can’t handle paperwork and Finn passes too.
Once Terry leaves, Portia tells Finn how complicated things have been with her. She and Curtis are trying to work things out but she’s not sure it can be salvaged.
She’s sure he can understand why she wants to hope for it. They look over at Liz, who is calling her grandma to tell her the news.
She stops by the wall to tell the pictures of her grandfather and Epiphany that she is going to be head nurse.
Finn and Portia interrupt and tell her she deserves this honor.
She suggests they go out to celebrate and Liz insists Finn come with them. He can’t. He has work but he’s happy for her.
Willow wakes up in her hospital bed. Michael is there. She’s exhausted but excited that they can finally put this behind them.
Drew steps off the elevators and taps on Willow’s window. They chat by phone and she thanks him for risking everything to bring her donor back.
He says they are family.
Once he’s gone, Willow notices something is bothering Michael. Her husband tells her he tried to end the vendetta but now his mom could use the evidence as leverage to set herself free.
Willow says she’ll support whatever Carly and everyone else chooses. Terry shows up to check on her and run some tests.
Joss wanders into Carly’s kitchen and sees her staring at the flashdrive. She tells her daughter she knows everything that’s been going on with Michael and Sonny.
Carly knows all about Dex too. They argue about Michael. Joss is annoyed because he didn’t finish Sonny off and urges her mom to have the courage to do it.
Her mom tells her that her “bloodlust” toward Sonny is too much. Sonny can’t go to prison.
Carly tells her not to be naive. Joss doesn’t think that he’s the man she grew up with. When she sees him, all she sees is the pain he’s brought into their lives.
Carly makes her stop when she brings up Morgan and then stomps on the flashdrive. Joss is appalled and tells her she just condemned Dex.
Her mom declares she’s going to take care of everything and heads out.
Carly goes to the hospital to corner Michael.
Jordan and Zeke hit the sheets in his hotel room. After sex, they relax. He asks if she’s still thinking about her kiss with her ex.
She thinks she needs to think less and have fun. The baggage can wait until tomorrow.
He gets a text from his client. It’s Drew, who asks to meet by the pool.
Jordan wonders if he’s trying to duck out but he offers her his number. “I’ll see you when I see you,” he says.

Zeke meets with Drew by the pool and tells him about his case. He needs him to contact the SEC to hatch a deal.
Drew won’t testify against Carly. He’s going to turn himself in.
This baffles Zeke so Drew explains how his will mess up several families. Someone has to go down and it will be him.
Zeke advises against this but Drew encourages him to try and set up the deal to buy some time.
Drew calls Tracy and tells her there is something they need to discuss.
When Zeke walks off, Jordan finds him and hands him his room key. She takes a raincheck on a nightcap.
As Jordan leaves, she passes by Liz and Portia. Jordan looks panicked when Portia introduces the nurse to her brother.
Valentin bickers with Martin at the Metro Court. Anna has not been returning his calls. Martin assures him she is fine and just needs some time to herself.
Ned and Olivia sit at a table and she commends him for trying to be honest to her since they got back together.
As they get close, Nina interrupts to tell them things are going well with Willow’s transplant.
They’re celebrating that as well as Olivia being convinced Ned is innocent. Nina’s glad to hear they are on the same page.
She’s startled when they say Sonny doesn’t think Ned is guilty either. Nina starts fussing with her hair and rushes off.
She bumps into Valentin and Martin. The Cassadine races off and the lawyer has some news for her.
Martin and Nina step outside and he tells her the Feds are leaning on him to give up her identity.
Neither of them expected this.
Back at their table, Olivia tells Ned she’s sorry for doubting him. He knows he’s given her reason to. She’s determined to find out who actually threw Carly and Drew to the wolves.
He reminds her that Drew and Carly are actually guilty. Even if Ned didn’t do this, all this has really proven is that he can’t work with Drew at ELQ.
She thinks he’s become cynical and they need to get back to who he used to be.
When Ned steps out to the patio, he catches Martin assuring Nina no one will find out she tipped off the SEC.
Dex is with Sonny in his office. The boss admits he’s starting to believe Olivia when she claims that Ned didn’t send the SEC after Carly and Drew.
He thinks Carly was just a means to go after him. The Feds likely pointed the SEC at her and Drew was collateral damage.
Sonny tells him about how important it is to bend the rules when you need to.
He admits he may not be able to regain his trust of Dex but he sees great potential in him and knows he can give him what he wants: a place to belong. But if he wants to succeed, he has to commit completely.
Valentin arrives. He tells Sonny that Pikeman is arranging a second shipment. Sonny reminds him that he demanded to know who the sniper was.
If they know, they haven’t told Valentin. Sonny agrees to the shipment but won’t let it be unloaded until he knows more about the threat he’s facing.
Once he sends Dex out, Sonny and Valentin talk about Anna. He congratulates him on his engagement to Nina and hopes they will be good to each other.
Dex arrives at Carly’s. Joss tells him it’s over and there’s no way out for them.
