Thursday, July 27 recap of B&B: Li vents to Finn about Sheila going free, Brooke and Hope tell Ridge about Steffy and Liam, and Deacon is shocked Sheila is free.
Wednesday’s B&B recap: Wyatt suggested Liam wanted Finn out of the way so he could reunite with Steffy, Liam tattled on Finn, and Sheacon reunited.
At the cliff house, Steffy tells Liam he must have misunderstood but he insists that he saw her husband and Finn physically embracing.
When she refuses to believe it, he shows her the video. Her mouth hangs open.
He doesn’t love dropping this bomb on her but if Finn is vulnerable to his birth mother, she needs to know.
Steffy can’t explain the video. It doesn’t make sense. There’s no way Finn would put his family in jeopardy.
Liam tells her she doesn’t know she can trust her husband to keep her and the kids safe.
Sitting beside her, he doubles down on this. She’s nauseated by seeing Finn with Sheila but assumes there is some explanation.
Liam won’t let Kelly be in danger while Finn tries to work out his feelings. He tells her not to bury her head in the sand and force Finn to give her an explanation.
He says the hug sent Sheila a message that he’s vulnerable and she will exploit that and put the kids in harm’s way.
“I know we’re not together but I love you too, y’know,” he adds.
In his office, Finn tells his mother why the case against Sheila was thrown out.
“You gotta be kidding me!” she complains. She thought Bill’s plan was foolproof.
She tells him he needs to make sure Steffy and the children and protected by keeping Sheila out of his life.
He says this was not the outcome his wife expected.
His mom wouldn’t have been able to control herself. Finn admits he had a strong reaction.
Pacing, Li complains about how wrong this is. Her son isn’t saying much and flashes back to hugging Sheila.
With some prodding, he assures her he will keep his family safe.

Deacon is shocked when Sheila shows up at his place and starts closing the blinds, assuming she’s escaped.
Laughing, she explains that he’s looking at a free woman.
He finds this hard to swallow. She pours him wine and explains the judge dropped all charges and set her free.
He strokes her should and smiles. This is unbelievable to him.
She was prepared to go to prison for the rest of her life but was terrified she’d never be able to touch the people she loves again. They kiss.
He hated that she was rotting away in prison. She says that his visits helped her when she was in a hopeless situation. Now she has a secnd chance and this proves that life is full of gifts and you should never give up.
She just hopes Finn will be happy for her too. He doesn’t see that happening but Sheila is still optimistic. Deacon hopes she’s not setting herself up for disappointment.
Sheila tells him not to underestimate the bond between a mother and son. She won’t give up until he lets her into his life.
When Ridge arrives at the Forrester Creations office, Hope and Brooke inform him that Liam has moved out. Hope makes it clear they won’t be working things out.
Surprised, Ridge asks if this is about her sleeping with his son. Hope is appalled he knows. He doesn’t care but he’s worried about his son keeping his head together.
How does she really feel about Thomas? She says they are on a path that’s just getting started. He doesn’t know what that means.
Hope says they have a connection and she can understand his concerns. She brings up Steffy’s role in what happened between her and Liam.
Brooke explains Hope thinks her husband is still in love with Steffy.
“Okay,” says Ridge.
Hope doesn’t want a life with a man who has divided feelings. Thomas has always been very clear about his feelings. She doesn’t know what the future holds.
Hope just wants to concentrate on work and her kids.
