In the Wednesday, June 21, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful,
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Bill suggested Liam take Hope on the yacht, and the Forrester office waited stateside for the preview while it kicked off in Rome, ending with Hope and Thomas at the podium, talking to press.
In Rome, a female reporter, Sofia, asks Thomas what the key to his and Hope’s success is. He says they can trust and rely on each other.
Steffy smiles as Hope says who wouldn’t trust this man’s talent? They clap.
Brooke almost tries to smile and watches them as Thomas talks about being happy Hope shared her vision with him. He was inspired by Hope and her vision. Brooke goes to the podium and talks about how proud she is of her daughter.
Ridge appears and the reporters ask if Brooke and Ridge are reunited.
“There’s nowhere I’d rather be,” she says. They ask if they’re back together and Ridge points out that this preview wouldn’t have happened if not for Steffy and Carter.
He talks up his talented son Thomas who calls this a collaboration.
Hope thanks them for their appreciation and they break free from the podium. Ridge tells Brooke she’s even more radiant in Rome.
He tells her they need to stop hurting each other and she agrees.
They need faith and not to let the fire go out. He does his head tilt thing.

On Bill’s jet, Liam seems anxious to get to Rome. Bill appears and says he spoke to the pilot and they are almost there.
There will be a driver waiting on the tarmac that will take Liam to the Piazza Navona.
Liam calls his dad the best and in turn, Bill says Liam’s the best. Liam wants to be a supportive husband so Bill says not to talk about Thomas.
Liam agrees. He needs to stop doing things that will push her away and give her the credit she deserves.
Bill knows his wife knows how much he loves her. He doesn’t question her commitment to him, either.
The jet arrives in Rome and Bill cautions his son not to call Hope to tell her he’s in the city. He won’t and races to the tarmac, certain that when they see each other today, it’ll be a “moment we’ll never forget.”
Back at the preview, Steffy tells Hope they did it. They couldn’t have done this without her talent and vision. Hope’s grateful. She hates that their moms aren’t getting along and thinks they can do a better job at being friends.
Steffy would like that. She knows she’s been comparative lately and won’t do that anymore. She’s proven herself. She toddles off with Pasquale and Thomas appears.
They’ve both changed clothing and agree today’s one of the best days of their lives though, she complains she hasn’t heard from Liam.
Thomas tells her to put her phone away so they can celebrate.
They go for a walk to the Colosseum.
Outside, Carter finds Brooke alone. She’s worried about Ridge. He comments on her friendship with her BFF going south.
He’s sorry. He does think her being there gets that out of his head.
“He loves you like no other,” he says.
A woman drops by and suggests they go look in the Aventine Keyhole that will give them a glimpse of their destiny.
Brooke eats that up. “Destiny.”
Ridge says they’ll do it. She goes to change and will get directions from the hotel.
He worries she’ll get lost. She always does.
Back inside, Steffy tells some of the girls how well they did today. Liam arrives and asks where Hope is. She’s shocked to see him.
He realized he needed to be there and took the Spencer jet.
Is he too late? She says he just missed it but would have been proud of Hope.
She apologizes for being wrong about Hope who loves him and says she went sightseeing. He dashes off to find her.
Hope and Thomas walk the streets of Rome together.
He takes photos of her and Liam keeps wandering about, searching.
Hope and Thomas keep going. They arrive at the Colosseum. He talks about how crazy to think how long it’s been here and Hope says the world has changed around it.
Brooke walks to the Aventine Keyhole and seems lost.
Her battery is almost dead too which doesn’t help.
At the Aventine Keyhole, Carter and Ridge look around for Brooke.
Carter laughs and assumes she got lost and offers to go find her while Ridge waits by the keyhole.
Ridge refuses and when he calls, it goes to voicemail.
Carter looks through the hole and finds it beautiful.
He tells Ridge to look but he’s disinterested and grumpy.
Carter asks him to look so he does and then Carter tells him to take another look.
He does so and sees Brooke. “It’s unbelievable,” he says.
Liam meanders through the streets, still searching for his wife who is just above him with Thomas, talking about how impressed he is with Hope.
They discuss the landscape and how beautiful it is.
How beautiful she is. He thinks they made history.
Hope grabs him in and pulls him in for a passionate kiss while Liam watches, in shock.
