Wednesday, July 5, 2023, full episode recap of B&B: Wyatt asks if Liam is willing to walk away, RJ comforts Hope, and Brooke fills Ridge in on her daughter kissing his son.
Tuesday’s B&B recap: B&B classic episode where Hope informed a shocked Liam that she was pregnant and will be in his life forever.
At the cabin, Hope paces in her sweats and rubs her face. She stares and thinks of Liam asking for a divorce.
RJ shows up and she starts stammering about working from home. He says it’s okay if she’s not fine. After she tells him Liam’s gone, he hugs her and she sobs it’s her fault.
He gets her some water and tells her to stop beating herself up. She can’t believe things are over because of something she did.
Holding her hand, he assures her it will all be okay. Liam may have left but she can get through this.
She doesn’t understand why she kissed Thomas. It couldn’t have been real. It was just a fantasy.
She’s built a gilded cage of righteousness and control around herself which leaves her wondering what would happen if she broke free and stopped caring about other people. Liam will never forgive her for betraying him with the man he hates above all else.
RJ says she’s only made one mistake. Liam will realize it and come back.
At Spencer Publications, Liam flashes back to seeing Hope kiss Thomas is Rome. He turns and sees their wedding pictures and then thinks of kissing Steffy and sighs.
He looks down at his phone and sees all the texts from Hope begging him to call.
Wyatt arrives. He knows he’s hurt but now that he’s had time to think it over, will he go back to Hope?
Wyatt is sure Hope loves him but Liam has some doubts. “Are you not willing to fight for it?” he asks. Liam thinks. His brother reminds him nothing will get solved if he doesn’t talk about it. He urges him to let Hope try to fix it.
“Uhhggg,” Liam groans, twisting his head.

At home, Steffy sits with her coffee and curly hair and thinks of kissing Liam before shaking her head.
Finn interrupts by kissing her neck. Sitting, he asks what she’s thinking about. She claims she’s thinking about how lucky she is to have him.
He assumes she’s really thinking about Hope kissing her brother. “How could she do something like that?” she wonders.
Thomas arrives and Finn quickly leaves for work. She tells her brother she knows what happened between he and Hope in Rome.
He says that he and Hope rocked it. She asks what else they did and asks if he went to the Colosseum.
Her brother is cagey so she goes on about how Hope needs him to make her vision a reality. She knows how he turned his life around for
Hope’s sake but that didn’t matter to her. “I know she kissed you,” she says.
In the Forrester office, Brooke tells Ridge that she had to get up early to take the kids to camp. She did kiss him before she left.
He thought that was a dream. She kisses him again and he asks why she had to help Hope with the kids. Where is Liam?
She explains that she’s concerned about her daughter’s marriage. He’s outraged when she tells him about the kiss in Rome.
Brooke adds that it was Hope who kissed Thomas.
He doesn’t know how this happened and remembers this has happened to them too. They’re sure that Liam feels betrayed.
Ridge is sure they will find their way back to each other. They’ll be there is they need them. Love has a way of making people find their way back to each other.
They hug.
Liam arrives at the cabin. Hope is dressed and did her hair and sits nervously. She didn’t know if he would come back and covered with teh kids.
He spent the night at his dad’s. Hope has had a lot of time to think about her recklessness and can hardly recognize herself, not that she’s making any excuses. She just prays that he hears her when she says how much she loves him and their life together.
Hope begs for chance to win back his trust. She never wanted him to look at her with so much pain in his eyes. They can change that because they still love each other. She has to believe that part of him knows they can get through this or he wouldn’t be there.
When she touches his face, he twists and sobs. She begs him to let her fix this. Can he forgive her? She loves him.
Liam stares into her face.
