Thursday, August 10 recap of B&B: Ridge tells Finn to try to fix his marriage and stop blaming Liam while Liam tells Steffy he wants her back and the reasons she should take him back.
Wednesday’s B&B recap: Liam Tells Steffy he Was a Fool to Let Her Go, Steffy Assures Hope She’s Not After Liam & Ridge Notes Finn’s Attitude
Their history doesn’t go away when he closes his eyes.
Steffy huffs out a sigh as he tells her he shared a love story with Hope that “sadly doesn’t seem like it’ll work out.”
He wants Steffy to be happy if it’s with Finn, but if he got another chance with her, he’d never let her go again.
Steffy says Finn will never stand by… Liam knows and repeats that if he had a chance, he’d never take his eyes off of her.
She sighs again. She thinks it’s a knee-jerk reaction but he says it’s not.
He’s buried his feelings for her and can look ata her without his “Hope goggles” and can see her for who she is, charismatic and a force. “Liam,” she whispers.
He wonders why he let her go. She tilts her head to the side.
He repeats himself again that he’d never let her go had he the chance.
He’d protect the kids and ensure she felt heard and respected and loved.
He caresses her cheek as Steffy says nothing.
In Finn’s office, he tells his father-in-law that this is more complicated than he can say.
Ridge calls it super simple. “Some crazy lunatic tried to kill your wife and she almost killed you.”
He finds it dumb that he went out of his way to hug her.
He thought Finn was smarter but then again, he left a little girl on the beach to take a call.
He points a finger as he says he understands why his daughter left him. “I screwed up horribly,” Finn says, vowing that nothing like that will happen again.
About Sheila, he claims he doesn’t know what came over him.
Ridge understands that she’s his birth mother and there’s a connection but he needs to learn to step away from her.
Look at what it’s doing to his marriage. Finn knows and says the real problem is that Liam wants to be with his wife. He took a video of him hugging Sheila.
Ridge says he cares about his daughter.
Finn agrees that’s only a part of it. Ridge thinks Finn needs to take responsibility. None of this has to do with Liam.
Finn brought his birth mother into things and he should wake up from his pity party and try to fix whatever is left of his marriage.
He storms off.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
At Forrester, Brooke finds the new dress in HFTF collection gorgeous.
The model agrees and says the buzz has been incredible about the collection.
She thinks Hope and Thomas make an incredible team, which makes Brooke’s mouth drop open.
The model leaves and Hope tells her mother not to make something of the woman’s comment. They discuss the divorce and Hope says she’s been trying not to let it get her down.
They talk about Liam, Finn and Steffy and they wonder how things with Ridge and Finn are going.
Brooke hopes Ridge doesn’t make things worse between Finn and Steffy. Hope sides with Ridge.
At Spencer Publications, Liam daydreams about a beach day with Steffy.
Ridge arrives to see him, not $Bill, to discuss Steffy and her issues.
Liam explains that Finn hugging Sheila sent a message to Sheila that impacts his daughter’s safety.
Ridge agrees. They commiserate.
He saw Finn and hopes he got through to him but he’s not sure. They call Sheila a psychopath and Ridge assures his ex-son-in-law that it’ll happen eventually.
Ridge is annoyed that Finn is blaming Liam for trying to destroy his relationship. Liam knows. He offers to help if he can. Ridge asks how Liam feels about Steffy.
Back at home, Steffy flashes back to Liama telling her that if he got the chance, he’d get her back and never let her go.
Finn drops by, questioning why she never responded to his texts.
They agree they miss one another but she thinks this is the best option for them.
She apologizes for not responding but she wasn’t sure what to say and admits the kids are fine but think they’re just visiting.
She won’t put them in danger and knows he wants to believe he wouldn’t let anything happen to them.
They’re both suffering. He apologizes and wants to fix it. She tells him to accept it’s Sheila’s fault. He knows.
And she has a right to be concerned but he believes that being apart is about Liam.
He thinks Liam’s taking advantage of her and he will fight to ensure Liam doesn’t destroy their family.
He loves her too much to let her go. She says nothing but he can see the love she has for him. She closes her eyes and seems upset.
