In the Thursday, December 8, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Carter and Katie agree that she deserves better than Bill and they kiss, and Liam worries when he sees his father wearing the necklace.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Bill put on his necklace and begged Katie for another chance, and Finn and Steffy told Deacon Sheila is alive.
At Deacon’s, he asks Steffy and Finn if they really think Sheila isn’t dead. They tell him the evidence doesn’t add up and it’s all too convenient.
Steffy is certain she’s still alive. Deacon shakes his head and mumbles under his breath.
They pull the toe out of her tiger-print purse. Deacon needs a beer.
Steffy asks if he can help them find Sheila.
Deacon drinks and fidgets.
They talk about how gnarly the crime photos were and Finn says they weren’t gnarly enough to be convincing.
If they can prove she’s not really dead, they can get the cops to re-open the case.
They ask him who else would cut off their toe and fake their death.
Deacon sips and tries to look like he’s thinking about this.
Finn explains there is no sign that a wild animal tore off that toe. Nurse Sheila must have done it unless she had help from someone else.
They haven’t taken this to the cops yet but thought she might have reached out to him.
Deacon insists that he and Sheila were not an item.
They won’t accuse him of anything but ask if he knows anything.
He insists he doesn’t know anything and shows them the door.
Once they’re gone, he punches the wall.
Katie shows up at the office and catches Carter changing. He apologizes but this is the best thing that’s happened to her today.
She delivers some paperwork and he tells her how glad he is that she’s there.
He brings up Brooke eavesdropping on her singing his praises to Bill. She agrees with Carter that she deserves better than Bill.
He thinks coming to terms with everything she deserves is a big step.
Sitting down with her, he asks if making her happiness is his business is okay.
It’s more than okay with her. She appreciates him standing up for her.
He says standing up for a talented, beautiful woman is easy.
She believes him when he says wonderful things to her but Bill never convinced her. She’s told him she’s moving on. It’s hard to give your heart to a man who is in love with your sister.
Katie wonders if there is a man in LA who wants her over her sister.
He clears his throat and assures her that she’s the only Logan he’s ever had his eye on.
She’s smart, funny, and very beautiful.
They kiss.

Liam drops by his father’s office. “Oh no dad… not the necklace,” he immediately says after he sees him.
Bill drinks and asks if Katie put him up to asking that question. His son says it’s not jewelry, it means he’s in scorched earth mode.
“I don’t have to explain myself to you,” Bill says. His son asks what happened with Katie.
Bill drinks.
Liam offers to listen, although he’s sure his father doesn’t want to talk.
Bill explains he poured out his soul to Katie and she didn’t want anything to do with him. She’s moving on with Carter.
Pacing, Bill complains about how everyone is betraying him. He’s tired of it. Even Justin stabbed him in the back.
His son suggests it’s okay to feel sorry for himself.
Bill says he’s just being factual. Liam tells him this is his ego talking and when it’s in charge, he gets into trouble.
He tells his father that Katie is not leaving his son. He needs to face the fact that he and Katie haven’t been an item for a long time.
Bill insists he was meant to be with Katie or Brooke.
Liam points out he can’t have both.
Bill doesn’t like anyone telling him what he can’t have. No one betrays his trust and no one dismisses him.
Grabbing his arm, Liam asks him to promise he won’t do anything drastic.
Bill looks at him outraged. His son backs off and Bill storms out.
