In the Monday, October 24, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Bill tells Liam he is going to step up for Brooke, Taylor has a surprise planned for Ridge, and Hope fills Deacon in on the latest.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Ridge and Taylor returned, he stared at a photo of Brooke, and Katie and Carter kissed again.
Brooke waits with bated breath at home for Ridge, when he walks through the front door, she begs him to tell her Aspen was a mistake.
When he announces he’s there to pick up his stuff, she demands to know why he is doing this.
He flashes back to confronting her about the call regarding Thomas.
When she asks again what’s going on, he tells her she will always be his heart but he’s moving on with Taylor.
He’s already talked to Carter to put together the paperwork for an annulment.
She’s baffled and accuses him of trampling on their vows and commitments.
“None of this makes sense!” Brooke complains.
He tells her Carter will be in touch and adds he will always love her before walking out.
At Steffy’s, her mom tells her that everything feels right now that she’s back with Ridge.
Steffy wishes he wasn’t over at Brooke’s but Taylor says he needs to pick things up.
“Don’t let that man go,” Steffy urges, eating a bowl of mangoes.
They chuckle about that.
Noticing how fidgety her mom is getting, Steffy grills her.
Taylor admits she did “a thing” to surprise Ridge. She won’t explain.
Her daughter loves to see her joyful and full of excitement.
“It’s called ‘love’,” Taylor says before asking if she has a blindfold.
Taylor takes a blindfolded Ridge down to the beach.
Once she brings him inside, she has him take off the blindfold.
They are in the beach house. She wanted to remind him of the magic times they had there.
As he walks around, he says some of the most magical times of his life were there.
She reveals that she bought it back from Wyatt.
She thought it would be great if they had a place together. He kisses her intensely.
“Welcome home, Ridge,” she coos.

B&B opinion: Predictable writing for Thomas
In the cabin, Liam reminds his father that Brooke and Ridge always reunite.
Bill says that Ridge leaving her was the greatest thing that ever happened to her.
He makes it clear he’s stepping in.
Bill tells him that “the convict” is dumb enough to think he has a shot with Brooke.
He makes it clear that he is going to put a stop to Brooke’s pain.
Ridge and Deacon can hit the road while he takes over.
Liam reminds him of Katie. Bill says she’s already moving on. His son suggests Brooke could use some space. She’s undergoing huge change in her life.
“A change for the better,” insists Bill.
At Il Giardino, Deacon fills Hope in on Bill warning him away from Brooke.
This tells him that Bill is actually worried that he has a shot with her.
He’s sorry to hear her marriage is breaking up but not surprised. She’s sure that Steffy’s interference played a role in this.
Deacon asks how she is dealing with all this. She admits her patience is wearing thin with Steffy.
They chat about Douglas but she wants to drop it.
She admits that part of her is relieved since her mom has been struggling with Ridge for a while.
Maybe this is for the best?
She’s always supported the marriage but if he can walk away this callously, maybe it wasn’t meant to be?
“Maybe he doesn’t deserve her… like you?” she suggests. She thinks they should pay her mom a visit so he can tell her how he feels.
They head over to Brooke’s.
She still confused about why Ridge has left her to put his other family back together. Hope suggests he may be onto something.
Maybe there is something beautiful about rebuilding a family.
Deacon agrees with this and pulls out an engagement ring.
He’s been dreaming about this for a long time. Brooke has always been the one for him. It could be time to repair their family.
He doesn’t think anyone deserves her.
She’s the most phenomenal woman he’s ever met and he would cherish and honor her until his last breath.
Brooke looks at the ring.
