Days of our Lives Peacock recap for Monday, October 24, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Gabi threatens Dr. Rolf, Chloe’s hurt when she finds Kristen has moved in with Brady, and Eric and Nicole recreate a photo shoot.
In yesterday’s Days recap, Eric was surprised when Nicole fired him without warning, Gabi and Rafe gave each other advice about their love lives, and Dr. Rolf got a new laboratory in Jakarta.
At the hospital, Marlena looks and feels much improved, on a call with Sami, updating her on the situation.
John walks in with Doc’s medical bag and the files he picked up from home. He tells her that Dr. Patel told said she’d be released in an hour.
Marlena’s thrilled to hear the news. She wants to call Belle and reminds John to call Brady, which sets off John.
He explains that Brady broke up with Chloe for Rachel’s sake.
Marlena understands the impulse but Brady can’t give into every tantrum Rachel has or the kid will learn to manipulate her father.
John already suspected that Kristen was involved in this.
Marlena admits that Kristen’s veracity when it comes to Rachel scares her. John agrees that Kristen will use Rachel for her own means.
They are both thankful that Brady is done with Kristen.
Stefan bangs on Chloe’s hotel room door but there’s no answer.
As he walks away, Li bounds into the scene and encourages Stefan to not give up on Chloe.
Li gives Stefan a pep talk about his quest to be reunited with Chloe, which did not go over well.
“It’s always nice to get advice from someone you barely know,” Stefan says.
He goes on to tell Li that Chloe and Brady are no longer together.
Li wants all the deets, but Stefan doesn’t know. Why is Li so anxious to get him and Chloe back together?
Li admits that he was thrown when Stefan came back.
“The least a dead husband can do is stay dead, right?” Stefan observes.
Li pointedly asks if Stefan still has feelings for Gabi.
It takes a moment for Stefan to assure Li that when he died, his feelings for Gabi died, too.
There’s nothing to stop Li and Gabi from being together.
Eric invites Nicole into his room. He says knew she fired him because of the fight that she and Rafe got into about him. Jada told him.
“Wouldn’t she just,” Nicole says with an eye roll.
Eric thinks Jada overhearing the fight was totally innocent.
He asks if Nicole is there to collect his Basic Black employee badge, but she came to the pub to rehire him. She wants Eric to stay at BB.
Eric asks about Rafe but Nicole says Rafe didn’t want to be the reason Eric lost his job. In fact, Rafe insisted Nicole hire Eric back.
Eric isn’t sure because he doesn’t want to come between Nicole and her husband.
Nicole spills the beans about her argument with Rafe about getting married too soon and what that had to do with Eric.
Nicole thought it was ridiculous, but Eric isn’t so sure. He apologized for saying so.
Nicole tries to defend her quickie marriage to Rafe. She said it was about Rafe’s workload and not wanting to burden him with the “fuss and bother” of a wedding.
Eric turns his back and looks emotional. He tells Nicole he believed her, and she asks him to come back to work.
Dr. Rolf packs up his lab and tries to convince himself that moving to a new top-of-the-line lab in Jakarta is a good thing.
“Salem is nothing without Stefano anyway,” he bemoans as a he looks around.
He opens the door to exit just as Gabi is about to enter.
“Going somewhere?” Gabi asks.
Rolf has a plane to catch but Gabi isn’t letting him go anywhere until they talk about what Rolf did to Stefan to make him hate her.
Rolf denies any wrongdoing, so Gabi grabs his box of samples from his hands and demanded the truth!
Rolf continued to deny, deny, deny but Gabi’s unconvinced. She starts to rifle through Rolf’s box, which freaks out the good doctor.
Gabi smashes one of the glass vials to the floor and vows to destroy the entire lab unless Rolf tells her the truth!
Rolf says he gave Stefan Jake’s heart, which was news to Gabi.
“Duh!” Rolf chides her. “Jake died and sacre bleu his twin comes back from the dead! Didn’t you find that timing a tad coincidental?”
Gabi’s a bit thrown by this and smashes another sample to the floor. She doesn’t think Rolf os telling her the whole truth.
Suddenly, she grabs a scalpel, holds it to Rolf’s throat and advises him to start telling the truth.
If he won’t, Gabi will make sure that Rolf joins Stefano in hell.
Gabi wouldn’t dare, Rolf says with fear in his voice.
“That’s what Nick Fallon thought,” Gabi sneers. “And I put a bullet in his chest. And for you, I’m thinking about cutting you up into tiny pieces and feeding you to the rats!”
Rolf is freaked out and admits that he brainwashed Stefan. It wasn’t personal, he was just following orders!
The plan was to break up Brady and Chloe, but Li knew all along that Rolf had Stefan on ice.
She asks more about the brainwashing.
“It was his idea!” Rolf laughs to a stunned Gabi.
Gabi is shaken but says she didn’t believe him, so Rolf spells it out for her: Li had Stefan brainwashed so Li could have Gabi all to himself.
Gabi demands Rolf fix this and he says there’s an antidote in the box of samples she was smashing.
Gabi releases him and tells him to get the antidote, still holding the knife on him.
Rolf opens a case and removes a hypodermic needle.
“One dose of this and Stefan will be back to normal.”
But then Rolf grabs Gabi and sticks her with the needle. She quickly loses consciousness.
Chloe arrives at the penthouse just as Kristen walks in with her stuff. Chloe doesn’t believe Kristen’s claim that she’s moving in with Brady… and John and Marlena.
Chloe demands that Brady throw Kristen out, but Brady refuses.
Kristen plays overly-nice and jokingly admonishes Brady for not telling Chloe about “their plans,” while Brady silently sulks.
Brady reveals that he knew Kristen was moving in. Chloe can’t believe what she was hearing.
Take it up with Brady, Kristen tells the other woman. It was all his idea.
Chloe can’t accept this revelation. Kristen sits back and watches as Brady clumsily tries to explain to Chloe without telling her the real reason why he asked Kristen to move in.
He lies that it’s so Rachel can spend more time with her mom, but Chloe wants to know why shared custody wasn’t an option.
Kristen reminds Chloe that thanks to her throwing the custody hearing, there’s no way she can have any kind of custody.
“This is my only option,” Brady sheepishly tells his ex.
Chloe sees through him and demands to know why Brady was really doing this.
He continues with his excuse that this is all about Rachel but Chloe isn’t buying it. Kristen demands she leave.
Chloe grabs her stuff and heads for the door.
“To cave into her!” she cries to Brady. “I don’t think I know you anymore.”

With Chloe gone, Kristen plops down on Marlena’s couch and puts her feet up on the table.
“You’re enjoying this immensely,” Brady says.
“Oh yes I am!” Kristen admits. “I’ve been waiting a long time for this!”
Brady reminds her that Rachel is razor-sharp and old for her age. All the kid’s ideas about her mother are a fantasy.
So if Kristen pulls anything with John and Marlena, Rachel will immediately figure out exactly who her mother is, Brady warns.
Kristen freaks out a bit at this and warns Brady to never question her relationship with her daughter again!
Kristen reminds Brady that she has the upper hand and he’ll play along if he wants Marlena, Kate and Kayla to get their next round of life-saving serum.
John and Marlena arrive to find Brady alone in the living room. Brady and Marlena share a tender hug.
Brady has something to tell them. Just then, Kristen’s voice is heard from the other room. She enters and welcomes her stunned rivals home.
Kristen tries to make small talk about Marlena being on death’s door, but John interrupts and asks what she was doing in their home.
“Brady, do you want to tell them or should I?” laughs Kristen.
John and Marlena are stunned to learn that Kristen will be bunking with them.
An apron-clad Kristen plays the happy housewife, all smiles and giggles. She runs back to the kitchen to make sure the dinner she was preparing didn’t burn.
Brady looks at John and Marlena, clearly miserable.
“Son, I think you have some serious explaining to do,” John says.
Li walks out of the Salem Inn and into Horton Square, running right into his future brother-in-law, Rafe.
They sit at a table and Li awkwardly asked Rafe to be his best man at his wedding to Gabi.
Rafe’s surprised but Li says the wedding will proceed now that Stefan has signed the divorce papers.
Li asks if Rafe knew about Gabi’s theory that Rolf brainwashed Stefan. Li thought that it was just wishful thinking.
“I guess we’ll be finding out soon enough,” Rafe says.
Li’s surprised when Rafe told him that Gabi was grilling Rolf right now. He freaks out and says he needs to go. Before he can, Gabi walks up.
She informs them Rolf had nothing to do with Stefan’s sudden hatred for her and she believed him.
Li is glad to hear that Gabi has decided that she’s ready to move on and forget about Stefan.
Rafe accepts Li’s request to be the best man and Gabi hopes that their marriage is as happy as his and Nicole’s.
Alone in the lab again, Rolf continues to pack up and decides that moving to Jakarta is a good idea.
That Hernandez woman nearly ruined everything but thank God Rolf had that vial of CRS17. Gabi won’t remember a thing about their encounter!
Chloe gets back to her hotel room to find Stefan lurking at the door. She asked why he was there.
He’s there to support her. Chloe asks if he knew about Kristen moving in with Brady, but Stefan said he did not.
Chloe tried to keep it together but breaks down in tears. Stefan gives her a comforting embrace.
They go inside. Stefan is sorry to hear about her encounter with Kristen. He knows she’s not a gracious winner.
Chloe cries more and says she wishes she could get on a plane and the hell out of Salem.
Stefan says to wait here. He has an idea.
He returns with supplies so they can recreate Miami just the way they did at Doug’s Place way back when.
Chloe isn’t in the mood, but Stefan insists on margaritas.
Later, Chloe and Stefan are decked out in campy vacation gear and sipping margaritas in beach chairs – in her hotel room.
Chloe calls this the nicest thing anyone has done for her in a while. Stefan smiles.
Nicole and Eric head back to the Basic Black offices and Eric starts setting his photo equipment up in the conference room.
Nicole has a heated phone conversation. She disconnects and announces that the model will be a no-show, but the photos need to get done now.
What to do?
Eric reminds Nicole that she was the best model he ever worked with and whisks her off to change outfits.
Nicole returns in a revealing dress. Eric is visibly taken by the sight of Nicole’s assets.
They awkwardly set up the shot and Eric begins to take pictures.
Nicole’s nervous but Eric assures her that the camera loves her.
Later, Eric and Nicole sit close together and review the photos. She says they still make a great team after all these years.
