Monday, April 29, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon and Finn continue their search of Sheila while Steffy worries about Finn and Bill and Liam discuss Liam’s famous waffling between Steffy and Hope.
Friday’s Early B&B recap: Deacon and Finn Follow a Lead on Sheila’s Whereabouts to a Woman in a Run Down Building
Deacon and Finn talk to the homeless guy, Tom, about Sheila and gunshots are heard.
The cops are heard before Tom grabs his things and wishes them luck before rushing off.
Deacon and Finn head to the building to search for Sheila.
Inside, someone who could be Sheila lies under a blanket on a mattress.
They find a steel door and haul it open.
They find cobwebs and keep up the search, flashlights in hand as they call out her name.
They keep wandering and spot a rat.
Deacon assumes the place is crawling with rats. “I hate rats,” Deacon says.
He finds a crowbar on the floor and uses it to pry open a locked chain link fence before they head through the doors.
They keep moving and the building groans, making them a bit concerned.
If Sheila’s there, she’s been there for weeks.
What shape is she in? They find a locked door and Deacon kicks it in with his Karate moves.
Finn spots something and they head over. It’s a stairwell.
They go down and split up.
Finn sees candy wrappers and empty pop bottles before a mattress.
He places a hand on the unconscious form under the blanket.
Finn calls out for Deacon who comes running.
They turn the body over and can see clearly it’s Sheila.
Deacon takes her boot off and her sock and sees nine toes.
“It’s Sheila,” they agree. “Mom,” Finn calls out, brushing the hair from her face.
At Forrester, Ridge talks business.
Hope’s line is doing well he tells Steffy and Brooke.
He gloats about Zende and RJ being the future of Forrester.
They’re a good team. Steffy daydreams about Finn.
He was quiet last night and this morning and she hopes he’s okay.
She can’t stop thinking about him and is sure something is wrong.
She admits the last time he was like this it had to do with Sheila.
Brooke can see her gut says this is about Sheila.
Steffy second-guesses herself.
Ridge reminds them the woman is gone out of their lives forever.
Steffy thinks about how jumpy she was that night and flashes back to the night of the storm, her search for candles and seeing “Sheila’s” shadow.
She recounts the whole story and how she knifed her. She breaks down in her dad’s arms.

At Il Giardino, Bill and Liam have lunch. Liam wonders where Deacon is.
Bill asks why he cares.
Does he want his meal comped by his ex-lowlife-in-law? Inevitably, talk turns to Sheila who Bill thinks is better off dead.
Liam is glad they don’t have to run into her anymore.
They drink to that and talk about a new contract that Liam was able to get signed with “this new thing called honesty.”
Bill feigns vomiting.
Liam’s priorities are narrowed to his kids and career.
Bill’s glad.
Liam says Steffy and Hope are glad too.
Liam doesn’t want to waffle between the two women anymore.
Bill drinks to that.
Liam’s looking for a new purpose, just like Hope. Bill asks if they’ll reunite.
“We’re just not thinking about that right now,” Liam says. He just wants to be a good father.
Bill’s proud. It shows maturity and self-awareness and he figures Liam must be getting it from him.
Liam chuckles.
It means a lot that he’s always had his back.
Bill always will.
He can’t hate on you for falling in love with two incredible women.
He reminds his son they loved him right back and with good reason. He doesn’t see his son as a waffler.
He sees him as never shirking his responsibilities. It wasn’t indecision. He just couldn’t be everywhere he wanted to be.
Liam appreciates his perspective but the facts are, it wasn’t fair to Hope or Steffy. He respects them too much to keep waffling.
He’s grateful for his families which means he’s done something right.
Bill knows that being single isn’t hard for him. He talks about his exes all the time. Liam groans, knowing Bill is right.
