Is anyone surprised that Sheila’s alive?

Update April 29: Sheila is seen in the April 29th episode of B&B when Finn and Deacon searched for her and found her in some rundown warehouse.
Kimberlin Brown has portrayed villainess Sheila Carter for over 25 years, a role created by the late William J. Bell. She started out wreaking havoc on Young and Restless in Genoa City in May of 1990 and crossed over to Bold and Beautiful in 1992.
She flitted between the two soaps off and on and her latest stint began in August of 2021 when Sheila came to LA as Dr. John (Finn) Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) biological mother.
Sheila has one of the largest naughty lists from her time living in Genoa City but became a tamed version over the last few years of the once iconic villainess while on Bold and the Beautiful this time around.
Sure, she put bullets in Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn and cut off a toe to fake her own ending but her claim to fame seemed to be telling anyone who would listen that she was a changed woman.
Reports of Kimberlin Brown’s final exit were greatly exaggerated
TV Insider reported back in February that Kimberlin Brown had exited the show in a final way when Sheila was eliminated. We were told it was final and reported it as such but none of us believed this did we?
This isn’t the first time a soap has been disingenuous when it comes to “final exits.” B&B told a huge fib, making fans a little sore that they were lied to this entire time. They could easily have said nothing but any press is good press, right?
Brown stated in the interview, “Well, you know, it’s a tough place for me to be in right now; I’m not going to lie about this, I guess if anyone were going to take Sheila down, I’m happy it’s Steffy. I just wish that no one was taking Sheila down. It’s my happy place where I have been so blessed to be for over 35 years. But I’ve had a good run at it, so I’m one of the lucky ones, there’s no doubt about it.”
Brown has been blessed to have such a long career portraying one of the biggest villains in soap opera history. She’s also lucky that she’d get some time off and return as Sheila full force.
Since Brown “ended” her regime as Sheila, the actress has posted photos attending the Bold and Beautiful 37th anniversary party and this particular clip with Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan). Could they have been chatting about Kimberlin’s return?
Though she has yet to be seen in person, Friday’s cliffhanger Bold and Beautiful episode had “Sheila” showing ten toes before cremation.
We imagine the real Sheila will be shown soon — to Deacon.

What happened with Sheila?
What we believe happened — and this is a theory only — is that Sheila went to “visit a friend” before her “demise,” which meant she went to see Sugar (Robin Mattson) and somehow encouraged her to go around to Steffy’s cliffhouse and taunt her.
We’re certain that Sugar didn’t expect this social call to end in her demise.
Sugar was first seen on B&B 21 years ago.
She has no surname, she was played briefly by Robin Mattson (Heather Webber on General Hospital, Gina Capwell on Santa Barbara and ‘Janet From Another Planet’ Green on All My Children) as an accomplice in a plan to get Massimo Marone (Joe Mascolo) to dole out millions to get Ridge home safe to Los Angeles.
Sugar was set up by Sheila to undergo plastic surgery to look exactly like Sheila.
When that didn’t go over well, Sugar slashed Sheila’s son, Scott Grainger (Daniel Hall) and wound up in prison for her efforts.
How did this all go down and why?
How? Why? Sheila was in prison and likely reconnected with Sugar at some point.
She’d have visited her in the clink and helped her escape for a fee.
Who could turn that down? Sheila could have set up Sugar to be taken down but why?
So she could run away with Deacon after the dust settled? Guess we’ll have to watch to see what comes of this story.
