In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Kyle whines to his dad that he worries Diane will ruin their family, Diane tells Summer that she hopes Phyllis moves on, and Tucker has a run in with Phyllis.
In the previous episode, Elena revealed her issues with Nate and Mariah and Tessa showed off the ultrasound photo of the baby as Kyle and Victor continued to collude to fire Adam.

Kyle interrupts Jack in his office at Jabot to ask about his personal life with his mom.
How serious they are. Kyle thinks their relationship will blow up the family.
Jack can see his son’s worried she’ll revert to old patterns.
Kyle says she doesn’t play by the rules. Jack counters that some of that was his doing and their eyes are wide open this time.
Summer returns home to Diane asking to chat. Summer was there to check on Harrison and she’s headed back to work.
Diane says it’s personal. She thinks Summer’s less than enthused that she and Jack have reunited.
Summer admits it. She is certain things will go wrong with them.
Diane says he makes her happy and she feels safe with him.
She’s worried that Phyllis will cause issues. Summer scoffs and thinks she’s looking for a scapegoat for when things go wrong.
Diane disagrees she’s doing that, insisting she has survived Phyllis this long.
She hopes Phyllis puts her attention elsewhere.
Summer warns that she has the same mama bear attitude as her mother and then takes off.
At Society, Chloe calls men simple creatures. They can’t focus on both the h house and the kids, so Chloe came home to chaos.
They lament Jill rejecting them. Sally’s sorry.
Neither understands why she canceled the pitch. Sally wonders if she learned something about her history and it worked against them.
Chloe says they can talk to Nick about fronting them the money. Sally can’t do that, especially since he knows about her pregnancy.
They talk about “The Adam possibility.” Adam strolls up and asks what that means.
They lie that they’re speculating on them reuniting. Adam’s confused. Sally made it clear they were done. Did something change?
Sally gets a text from Nick and Chloe gloats. Sally says nothing has changed.
He remembers when they agreed to end things and where they were when it happened.
Sally says nothing has changed and when Adam leaves, she wonders what he’ll think when she starts showing.
Chloe says she has time and says to wear baggy clothes.
In Victoria’s office at Newman Enterprises, Victor admits he sabotaged Jill’s meeting with Sally.
Nick’s pissed. Victor shrugs it off and blames Sally. She dragged Adam down.
Nick denies it. He fails at everything because of his attitude.
It insults Nikc that his dad thinks he’ll wind up just like his brother. Victor yells that Adam’s failing at his job and it’s Sally’s fault.
Nick denies that and says if he continues to harass Sally, he’ll force him to choose between his father and Sally.
Victor asks what he’s keeping from him when Victoria wanders in. She assumes they’re talking about Sally.
Nick goes and Victor broods, wondering why Nick’s still hanging out with Sally.
Victoria asks him to chill. She lets him know Tucker’s having a hard time paying off his debts.
She says they can pay them off for him and they’ll owe him. Vic likes how she thinks.
Phyllis runs into Tucker at the lobby of Grand Phoenix and they taunt each other.
Phyllis asks Crystal to leave any packages for her behind the desk until she’s back from Portugal.
Tucker gloms on to that. Isn’t that where Daniel’s wife is?
Phyllis says it’s none of his business. He brings up her boy having the hottest project in town.
It’d be business malpractice if he didn’t try to get a hold of it. Phyllis asks what’s up with that?
From Crimson Lights, Lily finishes a call with Jill and tells Daniel there’s no resolution yet to Devon’s offer.
Neither he nor Jill will budge.
Lily’s overwhelmed but Daniel thinks she must have others to rely on now that Audra and Devon aren’t around.
They discuss the project and he knows she has profitable divisions.
Maybe she should focus on that instead of his project. It’s okay if she backs off. She doesn’t want to.
Phyllis goes to the Abbott mansion and tells Summer she’s off to Portugal to make things right between Heather and Daniel.
Summer doubts she can do that but Phyllis says Heather respects her. She can tell her how far Daniel’s come.
Summer realizes Daniel doesn’t know. Phyllis asks her to lie and not tell anyone where she’s gone.
Nick arrives at Society and Adam watches as Sally embraces him.
Chloe goes and Nick’s sorry her meeting with Jill fell through.
Nick asks her to pitch Newman.
She laughs but appreciates it. She’s determined to go it alone.
She goes to take a call and Nick sits with Adam. He tells his brother that their dad thinks he can lure him back to the fold.
Family and business. Adam heard and assumes he has a plan in the works.
Nick says he’s trying to sabotage him at Jabot. Adam sighs. Why tell him this? Nick’s trying to help.
Plus, he doesn’t want him back at Newman.
Adam scoffs that his brother has it all. Nick looks at Sally, who ends a call with her doctor and the men stare at her.
Daniel runs into Tucker at Grand Phoenix’s lobby. He wants to discuss the platform.
Lily sits at Crimson Lights and toys with calling Devon but decides not to.
Diane arrives at Jabot and Jack tells her their son worries she’ll leave Genoa City if it doesn’t work out between them.
He has abandonment issues. She worries. Maybe they should slow things down.
He doesn’t want to. They’ll be there for Kyle either way. They smooch.
