Thursday’s Y&R day ahead: Phyllis Agrees to Tucker’s Offer, Diane Urges Jack to Can Billy, and Audra Tells Kyle to go Back to Summer
(Canadian Y&R day ahead recap for Sept 22, 2023 episode airs in the USA on Sept 25. Live by 4:15 PM EST daily.)
In Tucker’s suite, Phyllis asks him to deposit a million into her bank.
He still owes her a hundred thousand.
He’s unsure if he should be offended or impressed at her demands. “Gee, whatever happened to honor among…” She says, “Thieves.”
Is he planning to steal from Billy? He denies it. “Scout’s honor. Nothing so crass.”
He deposits the money into her account and once she confirms, she sits at the computer and gets to work.
She tries to ensure the hack isn’t traceable and needs to go to a public place.
He worries about discretion. She’s surprised he doesn’t trust her. She needs that other million to pay off the insurance debt.
She can’t afford not to hold up her end of the deal. He wants to ensure she doesn’t leave a trail leading to him. She’d never do that.
Billy won’t know anyone had access to his account. Tucker suddenly admits his plan is to have her hack into other accounts. Phyllis is rocked.
She’s only there to hack in. Whatever he wants to do with the account isn’t on her. Tucker disagrees.
She argues that he can’t change the terms of their agreement. He reminds her she needs the money.
She calls him a bastard. He knows and thinks she should have seen it coming and wonders if she was going to leave him hanging out to dry.
He wants her to make a giant transfer from Jabot to Billy’s account.
“You’re going to make it look like Billy’s stealing from the company,” she says.
Phyllis doesn’t get it. She doesn’t want to screw Billy over and asks why he does.
Tucker likes Billy but he’s going to help him achieve his final objective, one that Tucker won’t share with Red.
He tells her to get back to work.
She refuses him and he assumes she knew the score.
Phyllis didn’t think he’d set Billy up for embezzlement.
He hasn’t done anything to deserve this. Tucker reminds her he has done this before.
Phyllis says that was ages ago and Billy’s worked so hard to change.
Tucker doubts it. He can appreciate that Phyllis wants to better herself but not on his time.
He asks if she wants to piss him off at this point and she gets back to work.
He leans over her and she asks him to back off. “You’re breathing on me.”
He says it’s a reminder that he’s breathing down her neck. He admires what she put Diane through and asks if Jack’s forgiven her.
She says, “Oh crap.” She hit a firewall she can’t get around.
Tucker accuses her of stalling and starts railing at her, yelling and pointing his finger. If she can’t do this, he wants a refund. Phyllis tells him to relax and let her work.
“I just wanted to make sure you were properly motivated.”
She clicks a few buttons and presto, she’s in. Tucker takes a look and says Billy’s doing well for himself.
Billy arrives home to Jack, and smack dab into another argument.
Billy doesn’t like that his brother assumes he’ll fall to pieces and that he’ll have to pick the pieces up.
Jack thinks he was tempted by Tucker and Ashley’s offer. Billy already admitted that.
Jack thinks a competitive part of him felt cheated and it’s why he’s angry. Jack doesn’t think this is working.
Billy argues that he didn’t say anything to Devon that he didn’t know about Ashley kicking Tucker’s arse to the curb.
He just gave Devon a warning about Tucker. Jack yells that he didn’t want to involve Devon and finds what he did too cavalier.
Billy wants to protect the company and not because he feels cheated, it’s because he is the co-CEO and can’t do his job.
Billy knows Tucker will be vindictive about Ashley and asks his brother to be careful not to throw his ally out.
He can share the info with Jack to protect Jabot but thinks he’ll use it as leverage to keep his job.
Jack says he’s not fired. They need to start listening to each other. Billy agrees.
He’ll try to be less reactive but doesn’t think Jack sees him as a partner.
He always expects him to fail. Jack says no, he always hopes he’ll get out of his own damned way.
He’s proven he can and needs his help with Tucker but Billy says Adam has the information, not him.
He saw Adam arguing with Tucker a few weeks ago who offered to share damning information on Tucker for a price.
Billy worries Adam will play games and thinks Jack should negotiate with Adam.
Jack agrees it’s best since he and Adam have a connection. Billy says Jack has a big heart. Jack vows to reach out to Adam.

New! Y&R spoilers into September
Adam finds Sally in the zone, at work on a tablet in the GCAC lounge.
He apologizes for the kiss last night and she thought they were pretending it didn’t happen.
He says that’s not working.
He hates that he put her in an awkward position but isn’t sorry he kissed her.
He can’t stop thinking about it. Sally thought it was progress in hanging out together and being normal. “Let’s not make it more than what it was.”
She doesn’t want him to tell her the reasons they should be together.
He claims he isn’t but she says he just told her he can’t stop thinking of kissing her.
She tells him he’s overthinking this. He knows everyone dismisses that he wants to change.
She denies doing that but she literally just did. He repeats he “loved” kissing her which reminded him of how good they are together.
He thought she was reminded of it too. She thinks he’s crossing a line by telling her how she’s feeling.
“Say less,” she warns. He doesn’t let up. He sensed something.
Sally says it doesn’t matter either way. She’s with Nick, moved on and he is busy trying to prove himself to his family.
Adam realizes she’s not saying she doesn’t want ‘this mess’.
She is just saying that it doesn’t fit into her life. Sally puts her tablet away and says he’s reading into things again.
He calls it an observation and she shuts it down.
She never implied those feelings. It’s wishful thinking on his part.
He agrees and brings up losing Ava. He’s holding on to hope for a reunion.
For her to admit one day that she’s still in love with him.
She asks if he thinks she’s secretly longing for him and he reminds her of their past together.
She can’t keep doing this. His truth is too much for her.
He doesn’t want to pressure her. He leaves her speechless and shaking her head.
Phyllis finds Billy in the foyer at GCAC and they discuss how her job with SNA is up in the air. She looks uncomfortable as he calls her resourceful.
When Tucker comes down the stairs, guilt is written all over Phyllis’ face and Billy takes off.
Back in her suite, Sally gets flowers from Nick and thinks back to that kiss with Adam.
Alone at GCAC in Neil’s lounge, Adam smiles to himself and takes a call from Jack.
He knows why the Abbott is calling. They agree to meet.
