Mon Sept 25 recap of B&B: Sheila eavesdrops on Deacon telling Evan that he’d be amazed at what a little love would do to someone as Li can’t let go of her anger.
Friday’s B&B recap: Sheila discovers Deacon is responsible for her freedom, Li wonders what else Jack hid from her
At Il Gardino, Sheila learns from eavesdropping that Deacon called in a favor with Judge Evan Scott that made them even. Evan had Sheila released because Deacon called in a favor.
The men shake hands and laugh and Deacon admits Sheila has changed.
Being told you’re not worthy of love and are a monster could make you start believing it.
“Monsterous people do monstrous things but you’d be amazed at what a little love can do.”
Evan realizes that he’s involved romantically with the woman.
Deacon says Ridge and Bill know, which shocks the judge since Sheila shot Steffy and her husband.
Ridge can’t be happy about this.
Deacon’s trying to be discrete and Ridge has no say in his love life.
Evan doesn’t get any of this but Deacon just laughs and says they cal her crazy but he’s the crazy one and he has no regrets. Sheila smiles to herself.
Evan says the case was based on an illegal search and seizure by Bill Spencer anyway.
Deacon knows but is glad Evan ensured she walked.
Evan congratulates him but cautions him to be careful with a woman like her.
They embrace and Deacon walks the judge out. When he returns, Sheila shows herself. “I can’t believe what she’s seeing. Drinks for two?”
He calls it a business lunch and she acts like she’s suspicious.
Deacon says it’s crazy seeing her as a free woman.
She talks about being free and how there was an outside source who intervened to ensure she was free.
Deacon says he has to get back to work.
They can’t be seen there but she can’t leave him without knowing how much she appreciates him.
He knows. She can see he believes she’s no monster.
She believes now she’s worthy of love.
He asks where this is coming from and she admits she heard what he said to Judge Scott.
How can she thank him? They stare into each other’s eyes.
At the cliff house, Li tells Finn to deal with Sheila.
He’ll make it clear she’s not welcome in his life but Li says it’s not enough.
He has to make her believe 100% that what he feels for her is the opposite of love.
He has to be cold and harsh. If she sees a glimmer of hesitation, she won’t leave him be. Maybe then she’ll leave town.
Finn apologizes that his mom is hurt by this.
Li is thankful for him but hates that Sheila has a connection to him.
She doesn’t like this feeling and wants Sheila out of their lives for good.
“Tell me you want the same thing,” she begs.
Li can’t let go of her anger and will never forgive her husband for his lies in keeping it secret that Finn was Sheila’s biological son.
“Make no mistake. Sheila knew your father was married.”
She asks her son not to forgive Sheila for what she’s done.
Finn talks like he never will forgive her but Li can see he is conflicted. Finn tells his mama he’s doing “everything in my power” to get rid of her.
Li calls Sheila cancer and he knows what they do to remedy cancer. “We cut it out.”
Li wants him to focus on his family, saying it kills her that her family is fractured.
She wants him to get his family back. He misses them and chokes up as he talks about missing out.
Once his mother is gone, Finn calls Steffy and leaves a message, telling her he misses her and the kids and can’t believe how big they’ve gotten since she sent photos.
He loves her and says they’ll be together soon.

At Thomas’ house, Hope and Thomas have their hands on each other’s hearts, which are both beating fast.
She asks him to tell her he loves her again.
He loves her and says no matter what’s happening, he’s always loving her.
It means so much to hear, she says and tells him she doesn’t want to hurt him. He knows.
It’s okay. Having her there is all he needs.
He has enough love for both of them. She smiles.
They make out and he wants to show her how much he loves her.
He asks her to give him a chance. “Let go,” he whispers. They kiss some more.
She admits it’s never been like this for her. He says the same thing. She’s happy he’s so devoted to her.
