Mon Oct 2, Y&R day ahead recap: Nick has a meltdown about Sally having feelings for Adam still, Jack tells Billy they could use Phyllis on their side, and Tucker warns Adam he’s made a big mistake.
Monday’s Y&R day ahead: Sally Dreams of Nick Catching Her and Adam Kissing and Confesses, Adam Pushes Nate’s Buttons and Victor Doubts Victoria’s Sudden Change in Attitude

Diane arrives home from work early to catch up on reading.
Kyle likes that she also wants to spend time with Harrison. She offers to chat with him, too.
He shrugs. She asks what he’s been doing. He says nothing, so she reminds him they want him back at Jabot.
“Mom,” he says, looking upward.
She doesn’t like Billy working so closely with Jack.
Kyle doesn’t want his old job back just because she badgered him into it.
She doesn’t think she has to. He wants Kyle back. Kyle reminds his mom that Dad fired him.
At Jabot, Jack and Billy talk about the marketing team with new possible fragrances. They dish on Tucker. Billy says he told him that they know all the dirt about the singer and will use it if he doesn’t back off.
He didn’t seem to look worried at all which meant he’s in a total panic.
Talk turns to Phyllis who wants redemption.
She was willing to do anything to get it, which makes him wonder if she’ll come to their side. She may be the weapon they need.
At Society, Audra and Nikki break up the meeting after Claire has left.
Audra thinks she’ll be a good addition to the team.
Tucker appears and needs to talk to Audra in private. Now. He glances at Nikki, meaningfully, who shakes her head.
Audra can’t and apologizes before she goes. Nikki follows and Tucker messages Adam that he’ll regret this.
Once Adam gets it, he grins to himself while Tucker flashes back to telling Audra to delete all of the information about that singer who was raped. He flashes to conversations with Billy and Adam.
Adam heads into Victor’s office at Newman to confront him about everything falling into place with the family.
It’s all BS isn’t it? He thinks Victoria’s the one his dad should be worried about.
“When is he going to see that?” Victor’s not worried about anyone.
“I run this damned place. Any problem should raise its ugly head, I’ll excise it.”
He makes the off with their head motion.
In Chancellor Park, Sally reveals that Adam kissed her to Nick, who seethes.
“When? Did he take advantage of you? I’m going to rip his head off.”
He paces as she says it wasn’t a big deal and explains they had a friendly innocent dinner together.
They had too much to drink and he walked her back to her suite and he kissed her goodnight and instantly regretted it and apologized.
Nick doubts that. He planned to try to convince her to dump him and reunite with him. Sally disagrees.
He asks if his brother said anything like that they belong together. Sally grapples.
He asks how she felt after the kiss. She flashes back to the entire kiss scene. Nick isn’t judging her but needs to know everything.
“I had a mixed reaction I guess. I don’t know.” It was hard to see him still in love with her and know she’s with Nick.
Nick assumes there’s a part of her that’s still in love with his brother. She doesn’t know how to answer that.
At GCAC, Nate and Victoria get a table and talk about how her father is skeptical of Adam’s willingness to start at the bottom. She’s glad.
Nate relays that her dad also thinks she has not accepted everything. Nate asks if she was being honest.
Is she okay with her dad’s plans for Newman and where it leaves her?
She’s going along with it for now. Just like how he’s becoming Adam’s BFF.
Nate is not about to trust her brother or cultivate a relationship outside the office.
Victoria does think her dad has serious issues in judgment and she knows Adam will make a bad move.
It could be what it takes to get her dad to the breaking point.
Adam meets with Tucker at Society and asks what he’s going to regret.
Tucker says he was supposed to destroy evidence about that rape and instead, sold it to the highest bidder.
Adam plays dumb and then throws Audra under the bus.
Tucker says it was Billy. Adam finds that fascinating.
What does Tucker have that Billy wants so badly?
Tucker was content with letting him live his life. He’d have forgotten about the blackmail attempts and using Phyllis to undercut his plans. Adam doesn’t know what he’s on about.
“Shut up,” Tucker interrupts. It’s been a while since they were friends but now he’s his enemy.
He calls it a monumental mistake and leaves Adam smirking.
Back at Chancellor Park, Sally tells Nick that just because it’s over doesn’t mean the feelings disappear.
She links it to his friendship with Sharon but Nick says no, Sally has feelings for Adam which is why she can’t tell him she loves him.
Sally calls her and Adam friends.

Nick wishes it was true. She’s lying to herself. Adam has a hold on her.
Sally doesn’t want to feel confused and mixed up. If she could straighten her emotions she would.
It doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about him any less. She begs him to tell her she hasn’t screwed it up and he hugs her.
Adam walks up. Nick tells him to keep walking and Adam wrongly assumes this is about Kirsten International.
It’s not. Sally suggests he go when Nick gets angrier and Adam realizes she told him about the kiss.
Back at the Abbott’s, Diane wants to find Kyle something so he isn’t spending his days “doing whatever it is you’re doing.”
Kyle would rather hang out with Harrison than be stuck in his father’s shadow. Jack and Billy walk in and Jack says they’d love to have him back at Jabot. He knows.
He takes off with Jack asking his wife if their son is okay.
Billy goes and Diane says Kyle’s struggling and needs to know they value him. Kyle eavesdrops from the stairs.
At Newman, Victor flashes back to his last meeting with Victoria who told him she accepted her brother working there and her dad taking over as CEO.
How he considered firing her. Nikki appears with a hug and kisses.
He needed that from his baby. She tells him about her new hire.
He fills her in on his talk with Victoria and she voices her concerns about Adam working with Victor.
He asks if she’s worried about him. She asks if it would make a difference if she said yes and he grins. Doesn’t he look healthy? She calls him healthy and handsome.
He primps and she says between her MS and his health issues he’s battled, she’s determined to take care of him the way he has taken care of her all these years.
They embrace. He feels good about the wheeling and dealing and he’s with his children.
The infighting their kids are doing will come to an end.
Victoria strolls up as her dad says he will make everyone get along to the point where Nicholas will rejoin them.
Tucker meets Audra in her room at GCAC. She tells him she’s trying not to rock the boat with Nikki who likes to feel she’s running her life.
He tells her about the cover up issues and how Adam sold Billy the dirt on their cover up.
Audra thinks that has ruined his plans to go after Jabot. What’ll he do now?
