Mon Oct 2 GH recap: Sam stops Gladys from leaving, Kevin tells Laura Nikolas doesn’t want to be found, and Anna tells Jordan about her situation.
Friday’s GH recap: Trina told Spencer she loved him and they had sex, Laura got evidence Nikolas is alive, Mason went after Ava, and Sonny asked Nina to elope.
At their hotel in Geneva, Kevin reminds Laura they have a dinner reservation.
She’s still trying to narrow down where to search for her son next.
Her husband points out that her son is alive but doesn’t want to be found.
She’d go to the ends of the earth for any of her children.
He believes it but her son clearly doesn’t want to interact with his family.
She assumes Nikolas must not be in his right mind.
Kevin points out that the prince is running from potential criminal charges as well as fatherhood.
She thinks she can lure him back with the possibility of redemption.
The shrink knows he may need that, but he doesn’t want it.
Laura loves her son regardless and wants to support him until he gets his head on straight.
Kevin thinks that won’t happen until he puts aside his needs to focus on his children.
She’s determined to shake some sense into him.
Her husband’s heart breaks about her throwing her love after someone who won’t value it. She still won’t give up.
Laura still feels guilty about her son’s childhood and how she abandoned him to the Cassadines. She’s as much to blame for how he turned out as they are.
Kevin says he’s an adult and has to take responsibility for himself.
She insists they are products of their childhood.
The mayor also thinks he believes that his children would be better off without him, but she’s sure that’s wrong.
He just needs to overcome the darkness and come back to his other family.
Her husband thinks she may be the one person to get him to listen to his inner angel.
She wants to go searching in London next.
He books the tickets.
She thanks him for putting his life on hold for her.
He knows how important her children are to her and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her.
They hug and kiss.
When he goes off to pack, she calls Jordan to get an update on what’s happening in town.
Kevin returns and suggests they might have better luck in London.
Martin is at Valentin’s place, admiring the décor.
Valentin makes sure what he’s about to discuss is legally covered. He needs to discuss Charlotte.
Valentin tells him about the security footage showing Charlotte going into Anna’s room.
The lawyer doubts a court would see trashing the room as more than a cry for help.
The Cassadine adds she likely burned down the house too.
This is hard for the lawyer to accept.
Valentin is certain she was behind the fire and he wants Martin to help protect her from herself. He admits that he and Nina destroyed the evidence.
Martin asks if he’s told Anna.
He hasn’t. Valentin needs him to cover contingencies while he looks for a way to get her psychological help.
The lawyer will look into it and is sorry he’s going through this.
Valentin feels bad for missing the cues and is determined to do what he has to to help her.
Once Martin exits, Valentin calls Laura.
She updates him on what she’s found about Nikolas.
He informs her that Charlotte could be in some serious trouble.
He can’t get into it over the phone. She’ll take the first flight back.

As Anna gets coffee, she talks to Sonny on the phone, thanking him for giving her some guards.
She bets she’s not the only person he’s looking out for.
Jordan joins her, noting that there is a suspicious man nearby. Anna admits he’s part of Sonny’s security team.
Someone is trying to dismantle her life and she needs to take action.
She tells her that the shooting was clearly aimed at Sonny but the attacks on her must have come from someone else.
They mull over the evidence. Anna is sure that whoever is targeting her knows what they are doing.
She suspects the WSB are behind it.
While she’s sure that Valentin would never hurt her, he has a murky past and she doesn’t know what kind of secrets he’s been keeping. It’s past time to find out.
Anna goes to Valentin’s new home and asks if this is where he’s been hiding out.
A nurse checks on Sasha at Ferncliff and tells her she’s not allowed out of her room.
Left alone, Sasha doesn’t know how much longer she can do this.
At the nurses’ station, Montague talks to nurse Janice about how confused Sasha is.
She must be delusional if she thinks he’s the bad guy, but he can no longer work her case.
He won’t be back but she’ll see him around town.
A nurse goes in to see Sasha with her meds. She refuses to take them but they tell her to play by the rules.
That almost killed Sasha last time.
Montague calls Janice and asks if she can look for a file he left in the conference room. As soon as she leaves to search, he sneaks in.
In her room, Sasha takes deep breaths and tells herself she will survive.
Montague sneaks in with a needle.
She screams and throws a chair at him.
When she falls on the bed, he tries to inject her but the door flies open.
At home, Gladys calls to make sure that a car will be waiting for her.
As she packs her bag, Sam breaks in.
They start bickering about this and Sam points out that involving the cops might delay her little trip.
Sam wonders how Brando would feel about her taking off when Sasha is in need.
The PI refuses to go anywhere until she clears Sasha and sits on the couch.
Weeping, Gladys says her heart breaks for Sasha but also for herself. Sam knows it’s been awful but they need to focus on Sasha today.
Gladys insists there’s nothing she can do.
Sam reminds her of how she stole from Sasha and undermined her sanity.
As Corbin shows her the door, Sonny pops up.
Despite her protests, he walks in and asks what the problem is.
The ladies start bickering and Gladys suggests that Sam is working with Cody and Selina.
She suggests that Sam must be having an affair with the cowboy.
Sonny asks Sam if any of this is true.
Gladys continues to rant about Cody being a grifter and claims he drove Sasha over the edge. It breaks her heart.
He says that what happened to Sasha was downright criminal.
Noting all the luggage, he asks what she’s running from. Sam thinks she’s running before the truth comes out.
Gladys claims she just can’t stand staring. Sonny reminds her she is Sasha’s legal guardian.
He asks how she will pay for the trip after stealing Sasha’s money to pay her gambling debts. He’s going to make sure she doesn’t lie again.
