Crimson Lights
Billy rushes into Crimson Lights and Chelsea tells him that Connor’s grades are slipping.
It’s so unlike him.
Billy thinks he needs time to settle in but she’s not so sure anymore.
He’s frustrated and embarrassed that he doesn’t understand the coursework.
It’s affecting his confidence.
Billy says they’ll handle it.
She spoke with the advisor and headmaster and they think he has a “learning difference.” Billy has faith in them. Chelsea says her son sounded so sad. He has to trust his teachers.
She tells Billy that she told Adam about the issues and then complains that he bitched about how it’s the fault of the faculty and school and Walnut Grove for not catching it.
Then he threatened to pull Connor out of school. She shakes her head.
Billy thinks he should butt out since he can’t be objective about Adam.
She doesn’t think he’s said anything bad.
He thinks Adam’s a good father but doesn’t want him to go to the school and throw his weight around.
Billy thinks they’ll handle Adam together. Billy and Chelsea agree they’re good for each other.
Society
At Society, Adam complains to Sally about Connor’s issues.
He blames those in charge.
Sally calls his kid amazing and thinks it could be normal speedbumps.
Adam says he hasn’t talked to Connor yet. Chelsea filled him in.
His son doesn’t feel safe talking to him. Sally says not to read too much into him calling his mom first.
She doesn’t agree with him getting angry with the school. Adam is upset that his son has had to live without a dad for years.
Both he and Victor grew up without a dad and Adam doesn’t want him to grow up thinking he can’t depend on him but how can he blame them if he does? “All of this is on me.”
He didn’t want his son to feel he doesn’t want him and where is he? Sally says it’s good he’s calmly talking it out.
Adam talks about his mother, Hope, and how magical she was. He mopes about being a lousy parent.
Sally believes he’s a great parent and tells him the many ways he’s so great.
Adam gets it but he misses his son.
Sally says he let him go away and could have been selfish. Later, Adam calls Chelsea.

Victor’s still skeptical. Jack says he walked Nikki back to her office.

Mishael Morgan (Amanda) returns
They sit on the sofa and he tells “My baby” that he will take care of her.
“My baby” can lean on him. They talk about her needing to hire someone and she says she needs to vet them.
She’ll take care of it. After a kiss and I love yous, and a request for her to come to him if anything happens, he heads to his office.
Genoa City Athletic Club, Tucker’s suite
Audra goes to see Tucker in his room at GCAC.
He’s in a bitchy mood and she assumes Ashley’s once again yanking his chain and he’s letting it get to him.
Tucker tells him that Ashley is in Paris and called him to accuse him of paying off the waiter.
Audra calls him pathetic for letting it put him into a snit. “It’s boring and insulting.”
Tucker says he didn’t pay off the waiter but it got under his skin. He’ll get over it.
Audra doubts it. Ashley will always have a hold over him.
She rants that she left Newman for his company and that she’s insulted that he told her he wanted to be with her when he is pining over his goddess, Ashley.
Tucker apologizes and meant every word about how he feels about her.
It’s profound and nothing like he’s ever experienced but she’s right. Ashley has a hold over him.
He goes back to ranting about her and wants her to confess she’s the one to have done wrong, so he can be done with her.
Audra says she will never do that.
She already accused him of bribing the waiter.
Tucker swears he didn’t do that. He didn’t trash the cafe, either.
And she’s still acting like the injured party.
Audra tells him to stop. She can’t listen to him obsess over Ashley.
He needs to pick a side.
He’s confused so she says to cut Ashley out of his life once and for all or never see her again.
Tucker doesn’t work well with ultimatums.
She knows and thinks he just can’t stand to lose. It’s not about him loving Ashley.
She moves to leave and he grabs her purse and says no.
She tells him to make a choice and he kisses her.
They make out and remove each other’s clothing before they have sex.
Afterward, they lay together and he tells her, “Audra, I choose you.”
She smiles at him and they kiss.
Jack arrives at Jabot and tells Diane about Victor catching him with Victor.
He tried to get Nikki to come clean but she won’t.
Diane wishes she would because if Victor finds out from someone else, it’ll blow up.
The epic battle between them will resume. Diane’s sure Nikki’s glad she has him in her life.
Jack thinks things are as they should be. He’s with Diane and Vicor’s with Nikki.
He gets a voicemail from Traci who is beside herself with worry about Ashley.
She’s gone missing since they went to the cafe and the waiter confirmed Tucker’s story in Paris and she hasn’t seen or spoken with her since.
Jack worries and Diane assumes this shook her to her core.
Either she is misremembering or Tucker paid off the waiter.
Paris
From the cafe in Paris, Traci calls Jack to update him. Ashley called her and apologized for running out on her.
She needs time to process and to plan. They ponder what the heck that means.
Ashley’s on her way back to the bistro.
They wonder if Tucker paid off the waiter and Traci vows to watch out for her and do some investigating.
They disconnect and part of Jack wants to fly to Paris to be there for his sisters but Nikki needs him.
Newman Enterprises
Victor gets into his office at Newman and calls his team.
He wants them to keep an eye on his wife and ensure she’s safe. He also wants to keep a glimpse of “That woman. That Jordan woman. You know what I’m talking about, right?”
He tells them to call if he gets a glimpse of her.
Newman Media
In her office, Nikki gets a call from an unknown caller.
She remembers the last time Jordan called her and her hand shakes as she recalls the “stripper music” playing.
She calls to God and tosses everything off her desk but won’t pick up the phone.

Victor says, “Yes.”
