Weds Nov 1, Y&R day ahead recap: Christine flashes back to the good old days filled with romance and fun with Danny, while Phyllis glances back at her own history with Cricket.

Christine walks through Chancellor Park looking forlorn.
She sits and flashes back to telling Danny about the end of her marriage when Phyllis appears and can see her arch nemesis isn’t doing well.
Christine asks if she wants something and Phyllis shrugs.
She’s enjoying her new lease on life and offers her sympathies after having heard that her marriage is over.
Christine barks that it’s none of her business.
Phyllis asks if she wants dating tips and Christine snipes that her dead husband was a known felon. She won’t be coming to her for advice.
Phyllis insinuates that Cricket’s going to chase after Danny now that she’s done with Paul and suggests she doesn’t. Christine says that’s Phyllis’ thing, not hers. She should take her own advice.
She stomps off and Phyllis remembers arguing with Christine when they were much younger.
Phyllis complained that the blonde took her son from her. Lauren turns up, back from L.A. “Are you okay?”
Phyllis says Christine will never see her as more than a thorn in her side. Lauren asks if she feels the same.
Phyllis flashes back to telling Christine how she went through men such as Danny, Paul then Michael. Men walk through fire to be with her to win the “beautiful Christine.”
Christine reminds her she faked two paternity tests and lost her kid in court. Phyllis wanted to take off the gloves and Christine assumed it was because things with her and Jack are going downhill.
Phyllis claims she tried to make peace with the lawyer.
“Have you, really?” Lauren asks, knowingly.
Esther’s back behind the counter at Crimson Lights and Cricket if she’s alright.
Christine shrugs her off and Nina asks if she feels like talking to an old friend.
Christine turns, happy to see her surprise visitor.
They sit and Nina expresses condolences over the loss of her marriage.
Christine tears up and talks about the death of dreams and expectations but it’s the right thing.
Paul’s not in love with her. They have to both move on.
They reminisce about their friendship and how Nina transformed herself.
They flash to Christne helping Nina to become a “lady” by teaching her how to walk, sit and drink. They chuckle at old times.
Like Nina stealing Philip from her. Nina groans.
They flashback some more to Nina wanting Christine to bring her kid up if she was unable and to her being the best friend Nina ever had.
The friends hold hands. Nina’s thrilled to learn her old friend Danny’s back and asks if it reawakened any old feelings.
They flashback to Danny and Christine talking about a future together, sharing romance after they were married.
Nina asks if she would want to get back what they used to have.
Christine remembers the pain and blames Phyllis.
She recalls Danny being sorry about what happened with Phyllis. He slept with her and got her pregnant and now he has to pay the piper.
She kicked him out and Danny grabbed her and forced a kiss on her before telling her he loves her and never stopped.
She responded and then confessed she thought she and Paul would marry during the holidays.
She screamed at him, “How could you do this to us?”
“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” Christine tells her friend, about a reunion.
Nina thinks she should find out one way or another if something is there.

Michael, Gloria and Kevin back to Y&R
Daniel finds his father playing the piano in Neil’s lounge.
He comments that it sounds pretty but he’s not sure if it’ll be good to dance to.
Danny says he ran into Christine and Daniel gets a look across his face as he jokes that he can’t ignore the history between them.
Danny was affected more than he thought he would be when she told him it was over with Paul.
Daniel thinks that’s normal and his dad admits it stirred up feelings about what could be.
Lauren and Phyllis meander in. They join the men and Phyllis tells them about her run-in with Daniel’s godmother.
They think Phyllis should let go of the past. Lauren knows it’s hard.
Phyllis insists Christine can’t accept that she’s a changed woman.
Lauren suggests she ignore the blonde.
Phyllis drinks her martini and agrees to try to make peace. Danny thinks that’s great.
Lauren takes off and Daniel says Christine has been great to their family.
She let him live with her and defended her in court.
He remembers her thinking he was the son she never had.
Lauren finds Christine and Nina at Crimson Lights. She greets the women with kisses and says Michael is still in Singapore.
Gloria’s lucky to have a son as a fabulous lawyer.
She asks after Paul and learns it’s over. Lauren’s sorry.
Nina says she’s trying to decide what her future looks like professionally and personally.
Lauren thinks Michael might like to work together again.
Christine flashes back to them working together.
Christine regrets not having children and flashes back to a discussion with Paul about him wanting a family.
He told her she cared about her career more than kids.
Christine denied it.
Her friend insist she did a lot of good in her life.
She remembers Paul visiting after surgery and telling her she lost their baby. She sobbed.
Lauren goes and the women talk about Christine being at a crossroads and how she shouldn’t regret anything.
Danny invites his mom to a meeting to pitch a new video game and she’s in. She has a lot of opinions.
Danny laughs and Phyllis invites him to dinner. He seems almost interested until Christine turns up.
He’s quick to say he’ll get back to her. Everyone leaves and Danny plays for Christine, turning her frown into a big smile.
